Nice apartment but poor communication

We were surprised to be charged an extra £200 a month after we had booked and paid for our holiday. But after checking the website we realised we had no choice. It would have been better to take this at source when we booked as we thought we had paid for our holiday in advance

On arrival the person managing the apartment was not aware that we were due so the keys were not there and we had to wait for him to come and let us in. Because of this the apartment hadn't been cleaned so we had to do this ourselves.

Some items were broken and the kitchen was not very well equipped for cooking although there were plenty of plates, knives and forks.

Having said that the apartment was nice and the complex is lovely

Owner's Response: I am afraid such an unreasonable review. I had been extremely kind to Richard, messaged to ensure all is well after his misfortune of his suitcase being lost, his friends not accompanying him etc. I think his misfortune of other facts has resulted in him giving an unfair review on my apartment! Previous review was 5 out of 5. It is still the same apartment, with same Management person and hence the same cleaning and the same furniture/appliance etc. So a very unfair review and absolutely unjustified. At my so reasonable prices, I am offering a high standard well-maintained apartment and facilities & all my clients have so far been very happy and satisfied with my apartment and the complex.

Beautiful apartment, lovely complex.

This is a large, very well appointed apartment with a large balcony overlooking a lovely clean pool. It is a small complex, privately owned with some expats permanently living there. There is a lift as the apartment is on the second floor. The whole complex is spotless, and away from noise of the town. It's about 10 minutes drive from the harbour with the bars and nightlife and there is a regular bus service or taxis if you don't have a car. There is a nice restaurant/bar called Pambi's which has a great menu to suit all budgets, about 10 minutes walk. There are a couple of small supermarkets within walking distance. Great communication from the owners. Highly recommended.
