2 bed, 2 bath duplex with ocean/sea views 2 mins from beach. Great location, beach and Old Town just an escalator ride away! Its elevated position gives panoramic views over the Town and sea, but you don't have to climb steps or steep inclines to access the amenities of Old Town Albufeira, the escalator takes care of all that, handy at anytime of the day, but particularly after a hard day sunbathing at the beach, shopping or just exploring the Old Town, or after a relaxing evening in one of the dozens of restaurants, or even all three activities in one day! If that sounds too energetic why not just relax around the pool and retreat to one of your balconies for sundowners and a romantic meal taking in the views at dusk.

Fabulous five star holiday!

From the moment we arrived at the apartment we knew we were in for a treat. The apartment is set over two floors with beautiful views of the sea and the Old Town. Not only does it boast a large pool (which we often enjoyed on our own) but is a stones throw away from Fishermans beach and all the local amenities.

The Old Town has many places to explore and we loved many of the more traditional eateries down the cobbled streets.

There's much to see and do but for first timers booking flights and accommodation separately we were thrilled with the location of the apartment. It made for a very relaxing trip.

From the initial enquiry to booking , Keith was so understanding with all our questions and made everything so seamless. It's honestly one of the best holidays we've enjoyed and hope to return one day.

Perfect location, wonderful apartment.

We have been to Albufiera a couple of times and have always loved the old towns atmosphere and location however the queue for taxis on an evening meant we limited our trips. This visit I was looking for an apartment within the old town itself so we could soak up the atmosphere and have everything on our doorstep. This apartment gave us everything we were looking for - located just at the top of the escalators the beach, shops, restaurants and night life were literally on our doorstep. We had two private balconies which was heaven for our teenage son, two bathrooms and lots of space as well as a wonderful sea view. Wifi an essential apparently for my family was also included and kept everyone very happy. The apartment was clean and well maintained and the pool was lovely with an abundance of beds and seats. Very quiet on an evening in the apartment block itself hard to believe we were so central. Albufiera old town is great lots to do every day and night and we will definitely be coming back - would recommend this apartment and location to any couple or family.

Perfect stay

Loved this apartment. The owner, Keith, was a pleasure to deal with from booking right through to departure, aided by Steve who was there to greet us upon our arrival late on Saturday evening. The apartment is well appointed, in a great location and has lovely views. The rooftop pool is lovely too, is a good size and is a great place to cool off.

There are some great restaurants within five minutes walk and the beach is the same.

Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

great apartment,superb location

We have stayed at this apartment for the last 2 years running.its very hard to beat it in terms of location,price quality of apartment,cleanliness and good communication from the owner to the holidaymaker(the last thing you want is to worry if someone will be there to meet and greet etc)none of that with this operation,so yes ,i would highly recommend this apartment to anyone that is seeking a comfortable 2 bed plush apartment in a desirable location.

Location, location , location

Has a fantastic week staying in Keith's apartment.Steve was there to greet us and show us round the apartment which was spotless and so well equipped .We had his number if we ever needed him .the pool area was fantastic never crowded with plenty of sun beds. Impossible to get a better location 4 mins walk to centre of old town and same to escalator . So many great restaurants we never had a disappointing meal .a fantastic holiday .

Perfect location

Lovely apartment and great views. This apartment has everything you need for your holiday the two terraces were fantastic, it is so well equipped from beach towels to beach mats, parasols and cooler boxes. It is spacious and having two bathrooms was a bonus. It was lovely and clean and Steve the guy who met us was very helpful . Great for all the restaurants and bars and a stones throw from the beach. Although we only used the pool once it was very quiet and not crowded at all. We will be back next year as it was perfect for all our needs. Keith the owner was also very helpful in replying to any questions I had regarding the property.

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is 2 mins stroll from the famous Fishermans Beach, the heart of Albufeira. Felesia beach to the east and Sao Rafael to the west are rated amongst the top beaches in Europe. Many beaches have bars or restaurants on them ranging from informal open bars to sophisticated air-conditioned top quality restaurants. The Algarve beaches truly have something for everyone.

Travel:

Faro airport is a 40 minutes away. A car is not necessary for your holiday as beach and town are on the door step. An airport transfer provider can be recommended if required. A novelty 'road train' stops near the apartment and runs a circuit around the town including the 'Strip', an area of clubs bars and restaurants away from the main Old Town. An Open-Top bus circular tour is also available during the summer. Taxis are plentiful, rank nearby.

Further Details:

Whilst no car is necessary, since everything for a great holiday is on the door step, beaches, shops, bars, resturants, evening entertainment, pool in the apartment block, there are many attractions along the Algarve to explore, both natural and man-made. Car hire is reasonable and a garage in the block is available for those who want to go further afield.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment has recently undergone complete redecoration, inside and out. New furnishings and 'contents' completed the refurbishment. Great location in Old Town and includes pool and garage, very rare in the central area of the Old Town. Suitable for active holidays or lazy retreat, the choice is yours. Fine for couples and families alike, parents should satisfy themselves the balconies are suitable if they have young children. ** Note:- The satellite providing UK TV to Southern Europe ( France, Spain, Portugal), was 'switched off' in spring '14. We have invested in new, upgraded, 'unlimited' broadband ( now free to guests, was previously PAYG.) and Internet 'Streaming' boxes ( we've tried 4 types so far...!) to receive UK TV via the Internet. This system is inherently 'fragile' and despite our best efforts we can not guarantee continuous UK TV to our guests. We apologise for this but the circumstances are beyond our control. Outside: Balconies to lounge/diner, and both bedrooms. Outdoor furniture and sunloungers on both upstairs and downstairs balconies. Roof Terrace above the apartment. Shared pool. Also the pool has a deep and shallow end and currently no depth markers. Utility Room: Utility cupboard with washing machine, hot water boiler, ironing board, steam iron, broom etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included, changed weekly. Interim cleaning by arrangement. Beach towels are also included. Other: We have incuded 4 lightweight folding sun loungers for use on the balconies or at the pool or terraces, also 4 beach mats and cool box, and a hairdryer. The apartment is a non-smoking property, however smoking on the outside balconies is permitted.
