The Princesa Ico complex is a small complex of sixteen 1 bedroom apartments, some of which are inter-linked. Linked apartments are a great way to accommodate large families as you have use of a second bathroom. It is a family run business with excellent service. It is about 300-400 yards from the main beach and about 8-10 min walk to the old town. All apartments are south facing and ideal for sun-worshippers. Maid service is provided.
We are 3 brothers who started going to Lanzarote in 1980. Over the years we have grown to love Lanzarote and have adopted this beautiful island as our home. There is always at least one of us in Lanzarote looking after our properties there, and one or 2 of us in England looking after the bookings. We have many guests still coming back with us from the early 80’s and we are very proud to be able to boast a repeat and recommended clientele rate of over 80%. Over the years we have grown our portfolio and offer an excellent selection of accommodation to suit all requirements. We also own apartments on the Island of Sal in the Cape Verde Islands. The beautiful weather, relaxed atmosphere, diverse water sports and friendly locals persuaded us that this would be a wonderful place to holiday.
Had a week in the Princess Ico apartments..not sure if I would stay there again - don't get me wrong, they were spotless and the pool area was quite and relaxing with lots of space for sunbeds - but the bedroom was so dark and gloomy and inbetween the loo and the living room so didn't even have a window, plus the ground floor apartments have a covered patio so you don't get the sun when you sit there!
Aswell, someone was burgled the same week - had her handbag and phone taken - the police were called etc...and as it turned out, I was then given her room when she asked to move!! No=one at reception told me that - I found it out late in my week off another guest!!
Like I say, not sure I would stay there again...clean but gloomy.
just back from the princesa ico apartments in lanzarote. Highly recommended to anyone wishing to spend time relaxing in the sun. The apartments were spotless the beds comfortable and the staff including bar staff pool staff cleaners were pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. The apartment was cleaned every couple of days and towels exchanged. Bedding is changed every week. WE had a couple of bulbs blow in the bedroom and bathroom also the electric kettle packing in a couple of days before we came home but everything was sorted out within an hour of reporting this to reception. there are three supermarkets within easy walking distance two of them being spar. five minutes brings you to the farthest one and five minutes past this one and you are on the sea front. On the sunday we had lunch in the club oceano which is the other complex belonged by the same owners. This food is tremendous. Sunday lunch had about eight slices of beef , roast and mashed potatoes, three veg and real yorkshire pudding and stuffing and it totally beat us, we couldn't finish it. Very good value at under 9 euros. this complex has a childrens pool and is more family oriented whereas the princesa ico is more peaceful and more for adults as the pool does not have a shallow end therefore not really suitable for kids. plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas with no charge and strictly no reserving. One of the best apartments we have stayed in. We will be back next year and we will be recommending these apartments to friends and family. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday.
