We live in Worcestershire and discovered Dartmouth 15 years ago. Our two daughters have grown up there spending long summer holidays enjoying all that Dartmouth has to offer.
We love boating on the River Dart and out to the coastal coves and beaches for picnics, live music in the pubs, great places to eat and glorious walks with our cocker spaniel 'Bobby'.
Dartmouth is called 'A town for all seasons' and we just love it all year round and get there as often as we can.
Jane Jackson purchased this apartment in 2000
As a family we had been visiting the South Hams area for a few years and really fell in love with Dartmouth which we felt had an all year round appeal. When we purchased St. Saviours Reach apartments which is right in the heart of Dartmouth, our children were young and loved the freedom and safety of this lovely town and being so near to the water. The property is one of Dartmouths historical listed buildings which we completely renovated when we purchased in 2000 into two very spacious and comfortable apartments. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and The beautiful Dart Estuary right on the doorstep. The Dart cruisers take you to Totnes or the small ferry boat to Dittisham for great crabbing, The Anchorstone cafe and Ferry Boat Inn for great food and drink.

I stayed at St Saviour's Reach whilst on a working holiday with a friend. The facilities in the apartment were excellent. The kitchen was well appointed with a large variety of utensils, pots and pans and also such things are washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets etc (not always included). The standard of decor was very good, a well kept, updated property, it felt like no expense had been spared. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in for a long time, a very supportive mattress yet not too hard and lots of pillows and a luxurious duvet, In the words of Goldilocks "Just Right". The bathroom was very clean and well maintained, with a large multi-functional shower and plenty of hot water. The apartment is in a great location right in the middle of Dartmouth close to shops, restaurants and ferries. A great place to spend a few days whilst walking the coastal paths or messing about on the water. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
We stayed in both apartments and were amazed at the standard of the flats for rental properties...they definitely felt like home from home. They were clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and well kitted out. We had everything needed for 10 of us to drink, eat and be merry! In fact, I wish we had been staying longer so that we could have made more use of it!
The location is absolutely perfect to be able to make the most of Dartmouth and I would thoroughly recommend the flats to anyone considering them. I'm already trying to work out when to return with my family and friends!
Oh yes....and the people renting it to us were brilliant...so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
A wonderful weekend full of fantastic memories :-)
The apartment is beautiful, lovely furnishings and huge rooms. The property was lovely and clean on arrival. The location is right on the doorstep for everying Dartmouth has to offer. We would definately recommend to family and friends.
Really impressed with location, especially having an 11 month old in tow! Very clean and tidy upon arrival with clear and helpful information. An enjoyable stay! Would recommend!
St. Saviour's Reach apartment is stunning, and the location could not have been better. Everything was right on the doorstep. No need for a car as buses and the Ferry to Kingswear were just around the corner.
The apartment is very well equipped with everything necessary for your stay. The rooms are tastefully furnished, and the bedroom has an enormous and very comfortable bed. The whole apartment is very light and airy, and we had perfect weather. The view from the windows of the world going by in the street below, would have kept us occupied even if it had been raining. I would definitely recommend the apartment to friends and family.
We have had a wonderful week staying at Eagles Nest. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed. The location is right in the centre of Dartmouth which was perfect as there is plenty to do and explore.
