This elegant second floor apartment, (with stairs) in a converted 1890s stucco-fronted building, features a large west-facing living-dining room with French windows, opening onto a small balcony overlooking the square. There is one large and one small double bedroom, (one with king size and one with a small double bed) a small kitchenette, large bathroom with shower and WC and a second separate WC.

About Alasdair Sutherland

We are English, retired, my wife was an executive with Yves St Laurent UK and I was with an international marketing & PR agency.

I'm the author of a recently published book about the 1960s and the impact of Italian food on the UK 's restaurant culture.

Our current project is the restoration of an old farmhouse in Puglia, Southern Italy, and the flat is let while we are away. So this is not a rental flat business, it is part of our own home.

Notes on accommodation: 1. Our minimum letting period is one week, seven nights. Rentals of less than seven nights can be accepted but because of our housekeeping arrangements when we are away, the full week's rental must be charged. 2. The second bedroom has a built-in fold-down double bed. We prefer not to have more than a total of three guests. 3. Due to the quality of the furniture and contents, the flat may not be suitable for young children. Outside: The apartment looks over the award-winning Private Gardens of Earls Court Square. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bedlinen included. The property is cleaned and linen changed once a week. No charge for departure cleaning. Other: Extensive library shelves in living room.

Lovely sitting room, comfy beds, functional kitchen, good neighborhood.

We stayed for a week in February and were delighted with our sunny, view of the garden and square from the

book-filled sitting room. This apartment is situated away from noisy streets, but very close to the tube and bus stops, so it

was easy to get around and very easy to get to from Heathrow. Lovely small streets nearby for exploring, lots of dining and

grocery options.

Mrs. Dulfis Hayden met us and showed us how things worked and where everthing was located. She made herself

available during the week, if we needed help, and was charming and friendly.

It is an old building and the walls are thin. The only negatives were a noisy party nearby on Sat. night and three flights of stairs.

We would stay here again.

Upon arrival our manager will meet you at the flat between 12 & 6pm weekdays or 12 and 5pm weekends to hand you keys & show you round. She will check you out upon departure and review any breakages. Check out is 10.00am
