My wife and i live in the UK with our two children and love to spend as much time as possible at our fantastic and very relaxing apartment in Riviera. We bought the apartment in 2007 and have loved to visit when we can. We have tried to make this place as home from home as possible and am sure you will feel the same if you visit.

Everything that you could need has been thought of by Rob ,from maps to first aid, spacious sunny balcony and great selection of pools , definitely stay again .

Fantastic apartment

We have just returned from a great stay in Rob and Karen's lovely apartment

The apartment has everything needed for a holiday and was spotless

Rob the owner was very helpful and patient with all my endless questions and always replied promptly

The complex has three pools to choose from and beautiful gardens,there are several restaurants across the and a reasonably priced supermarket selling many English products

Even though we ate out most evenings the kitchen was well equipped had we choose to cook a meal

We would highly recommend this apartment and we will definitely be returning next year!!

Would 100% recommend this lovely apartment

From the moment I first contacted Rob, through to our return from this lovely place last Saturday, I have been really impressed with how helpful Rob has been. The apartment is set in beautiful gardens with 3 pools. We sunbathed and swam every day, amazing weather for October. We felt like this was home from home and Rob said we could use anything in the kitchen cupboards, which was so kind.

There is bags of space. I had the top floor bedroom which has stunning views of the gardens, pool and sea from one side and the mountains from the other.The T.V. has all the British channels and so we were able to keep up with our favourites in the evening.

Bedding and plenty of towels are provided. The apartment is very well furnished, including recliner sofas.

The kitchen is really well equipped and it was great to have a washing machine.

The balcony is massive, running along the length of the downstairs bedroom and lounge. We sat out there to eat our meals. It is a real suntrap too.

On the doorstep is a well stocked, well priced supermarket, plenty of restaurants, plus a British fish and chip shop and bar. I would highly recommend the Connoisseur Restaurant, which is rated in the Mijas top 5 and the Connect Tapas Bar.

Rob, many thanks to you and your family for your kindness and for letting us stay in your lovely apartment. The only negative is that 1 week wasn't enough, so hopefully next time we can stay for 2 weeks.

Amazing holiday

Relaxing stay

We have just returned from a very relaxing stay. What a lovely clean apartment, with a fantastic balcony and a view down to the sea. The balcony has the sun from morning until evening.

Very spacious throughout and situated on a beautiful complex.

Close to shops, bars and restaurants (literally steps away) but there was very little noise from them at all.

We visited with children of 10 and 12 and as the second bedroom is up an external spiral staircase with no toilet facilities up there, we decided to put the kids on the sofa bed in the lounge. This was no problem and there was still plenty of space, but something to be mindful of if you have younger children.

We ate in the pool side bar one day and were pleasantly surprised...it was very reasonable and just what we needed for lunch.

All the pools were very well maintained and clean and had a lifeguard in situ from 11am until 7pm. It was great being able to let the kids go to the pool as we watched from the balcony!

We ate in one of the close restaurants and also walked down to a couple of the others down by the Mas supermarket, the apartment is ideally situated for all amenities.

We hired a car and explored from Malaga up to Ronda, the apartment was the ideal base to do this from and also somewhere to sit on the balcony in the evening and chillax.

Location

From the Owner

The apartment was bought so that we had somewhere we could get away to leaving the hustle and bustle of the UK behind. It is situated close to all the usual amenities such as shops,restaurants and bars. The night life is quiet as all the bars have curfews till just after midnight so if you fancy a big night out you can visit many of the clubs in either Fuengirola or Marbella. I am sure that you will enjoy our apartment as much as we do.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

All the beaches along this coast are absolutely fantastic with clean sand and beautiful blue sea's. The closest beach from the apartment is only a 10 minute walk but if you have hired a car the beaches between Fuengirola and Marbella are all worth a visit.

Travel:

The apartment is situated 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport. You can also hire your car from the airport building at competitive prices. If you do not hire a car the local taxi's from the airport will take you straight to the door.

Distances:

There are lots of places to visit from your base in Riviera del sol. Fuengirola and Marbella are only a 10 minute drive along the coast road and Gibraltar is a great day out and is only 1 hours run from the apartment. The village of Mijas in the mountains is a typical old Spanish village and is very pretty.

Further Details:

The local shops and restaurants are situated just outside the gate to the complex and offer a wide range of things to eat and drink. The local convenience store is 2 minutes from the apartment and sells everything you will need for your stay. There is a variety of different resturants from traditional Spanish tapas to Italian, Indian and English cuisine.
