Each fully equipped cottage provides very comfortable living on 2 floors. The open plan kitchen, dining and sitting areas lead to a private south facing fenced patio. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs (1 double and 1 single) with bathroom and 2 further bedrooms downstairs with adjacent shower room. The properties are set in maintained landscaped grounds with ample parking and the free use of 2 private tennis courts. Within walking distance is a small supermarket selling home cooked meals, bakery, coal and logs etc. Nearby is the St. Moritz hotel with use of its swimming pool and Cow Shed Spa (pay locally). As well as safe swimming and surfing on the local beaches, golf can be played at Roserrow and the championship course at St Enodoc (2 courses). Sailing, sea fishing and water skiing are available at Rock, also cycling on the Camel trail between Padstow, Wadebridge and Bodmin. Extensive walking around the coastal path with its superb scenery and views are within 5 minutes from the house.

The properties are owned by 2 brothers and their wives from North Yorkshire and Berkshire.
Both families have long association with this part of North Cornwall and hope future generations will carry on with the tradition.

The 2 properties have been in family ownership since they were built in 2000.
They have proved very successful mainly due to their turnkey flexibility and proximity to the myriad of activities this part of Cornwall has to offer.
We are no strangers to the area as our parents have owned property locally for many years which has meant we have all been brought up to appreciate the beautiful surroundings.
Now the 4th generation has begun to excavate Daymer beach!

Excellent quiet sheltered location with a Southern aspect. The brilliant design creates private and spacious accommodation which is only a stones throw from a wonderful playground to suit all ages.
£200 non-refundable deposit per cottage to guarantee booking. The balance is due 1 month before the holiday begins. In addition we require a Damage Deposit cheque for £200 at the time the balance is paid or before, which will remain uncashed unless it is required.
Please leave the Cottages as you find them.
No more than 7 people should sleep in either cottage at any one time.
The changeover day is Friday. On the morning of departure the premises must be vacated by 10.00am to allow for the new Tenants who should arrive not before 4.00pm.

Activity and Interests
Polzeath Beach: No more than 10 minutes walk. Excellent for surfing.
Greenaway Beach: Again 10 minutes walk at most. More secluded and ideal for rock-pooling.
Daymer: 12-15 minutes walk. A wonderful gently sloping beach perfect for young children and keen windsurfers.
Newquay Airport is 19.5 miles to the South. Normal running time 30 minutes.
Bodmin Parkway mainline station is 17 miles away and again approx 30 minutes by road.
The use of a car is recommended although there are enough amenities and activities close by to get by without one.

The area is well served by some excellent restaurants. Locally the St Enodoc and St Moritz hotels have a good reputation. In Padstow (which can be accessed in the evening by a dedicated river taxi) there are numerous Rick Stein outlets along with No 6 and Pescadou on the Harbour front.
Further afield St Kew Inn to the North and Jamie Olivers No 15 at Watergate Bay close to Newquay are worth a visit.
There are a number of Supermarkets- Spa shops in Polzeath and Rock have the basics as well as Trebetherick Stores 5 minutes walk away. Di's Dairy in Rock is excellent for pre-cooked meals. Tesco have a largish outlet in Wadebridge and Asda and Morrisons are in Bodmin.
Wadebridge has a good range of shops and Banks as well as cycle hire for the Camel trail.
Polzeath is renowned for its excellent safe surfing. Wet suits can be hired and tuition purchased.
Daymer Bay provides wonderful conditions for Kite and Wind Surfing as well as rock pools and acres of bucket and spade sand.
Rock is a sailing and water-ski centre. Mackerel and reef fishing charters are available from the pontoon.
Padstow has powerboats for pleasure trips along with the Jubilee Queen which tours local bays and islands.

Well behaved Pets by prior arrangement only. Electricity, linen and towels provided in the rental price. Beds are made up before arrival. Outside: Private and fenced South facing patio with garden table, chairs and Rotary clothes dryer. The surrounding maintained landscaped grounds are communal areas for resident use. Ample parking is provided for cars and dinghy trailers. At the top of the site are 2 tennis courts for the exclusive use of the residents.
