Beautiful apartment, lovely hosts
About the Owner
Nigel,Clare & Connor moved to Westfield in 2009 . We are very happy with Hawkhurst with its local amenities (great little cinema!) and easy access to the coast. We chose the house for its space inside and out. This includes 4 acres of meadow and woodland. Bees are in the far field (not seen in photos )which we are cultivating into a wild meadow.The Apartment has a bright comfortable feel housing our library of books.
Its lovely to share this space and so facinating to meet people from all over the world- Dutch, Spanish, Aussie , Kiwis, and lots of lovely people from north, south east and west.We are animal lovers and share our abode with BB and Kipper (a Border Terrier and an English Setter cross), there's also the ginger cats Jones and Wilson (Dad's army fans).and finally the girls ( 2 chickens).

Beautiful apartment, lovely hosts
The cottage is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and has everything you would want for a holiday home from home. Clare and her family were warm and friendly - as were the dogs and the chickens. The damson jam was delicious. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby.
A very comfortable apartment.
A very thoughtful welcome package of bread butter coffee & milk awaited us as well a toiletries. Such a bright and airy comfortable apartment with a nice terrace to sit out on in the evening. Very handy position for visiting well known gardens such as Sissinghurst. Situated in the lovely Weald of Kent with lots of interesting villages nearby as well as vineyards. We hope to return when time permits. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
Lovely peaceful apartment
I have stayed many times in this apartment and love it. The owners are so welcoming and the apartment is perfect for whenever we are in the area. This time I was delighted to find a brand new kitchen fitted, which is very stylish and practical. The apartment has gorgeous views over the owner's vast garden complete with dogs, cats and hens. If you are thinking to rent, dont hesitate, you will love it. Hawkhurst has all you need, two supermarkets, a row of quaint little shops, a lovely cinema and a few good pubs.
