Luxury detached villa designed by the renowned Portuguese architect Tomas Taveira with private swimming pool/garden in Palmela Village golf resort. This private villa was used as the show house property by the developer and the pictures on the developers’ actual Palmela village website are of this actual villa. this region is rich in culture, sporting and leisure pursuits making the location ideal for families, golfers, wine connoisseurs and for those of us who just want to get away from it all. The resort reception is open daily for check in/out and the staff will be happy to help you plan your holiday. You may wish to use the communal swimming pool with cafe/bar, book a round of golf on the beautiful golf course and enjoy a meal in the clubhouse restaurant / bar afterwards or perhaps use the 5km cycling, walking or jogging route around the resort.

Notes on accommodation: Non-smoking and no pets. There is air conditioning throughout the villa and it is suitable for all year round rental. Comfortably can cater for 6 adult guests. Outside: Large kidney shaped private swimming pool with underwater light. Various balconies some with views over pool area and private gardens there is outside table and chairs suitable for the garden or balconies and the garden area is ideal for sunbathing. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels (excluding beach towels) and linen are included. The Private pool and garden are maintained on a weekly basis. Other: There is also a large private fully separate dining room for entertaining in style in the evenings. Equipped with table chairs etc.

Cannot recommend,really strange place-luxury golf resort gone wrong,many villas standing derelict.

Villa poorly maintained(floor boards coming up) Nasty stained couch.More student accommodation than luxury villa ,seriously overpriced.Pool went green whilst we were there and the owner blamed us.Owner promised to refund €400 because of issue with pool but never paid it back.Avoid.

Owner's Response: I have decided to respond to the false review on my property from a client who stayed in the property in August 2016 but only posted a review in December some 4 months later!! I have many repeat customers each summer who use my holiday home and indeed I have a couple of 5 Star reviews from previous clients who where very happy with my home and the standards within the villa. This review is nasty and mostly untrue . There was a problem with the pool for a few days during there stay and it was eventually rectified by the engineers who maintain my pool each week ( This was only the second time in 6 years I had a problem with the pool motor) . The rest of the comments are untrue or blown up out of all proportion. Please read my other proper reviews and please feel free to contact me at anytime. This is our holiday home and the Villa is in excellent condition, it is upsetting to me when people are able to write false comments and this is why I have taking the time to reply to this false review. A ice place to be with a family while on holidays

One of the best places we have been, the house is clean , and big , very comfortable so much so that we ended up cancelling some of our touristic plans only to sit and relax by the pool and enjoy bbqs.

This place is in a secure and gated community , so you feel very safe , you will need a car to move around , the beach is about 30 minutes drive.

This is a place I can highly recommend .

Beautiful and spacious villa.

The Villa is beautiful, with tonnes of space for a family or a group of friends. Everything is to a high standard, and there is everything you need, from pot and pans to house keeping everyday. Definitely would consider returning in the near future. The major cities being Setubal and Lisbon are half hour drives but buses are available. The smaller towns near by are also great too. The owners are very helpful and reply very quickly. The food at the clubhouse is great and reasonably priced, also with a litre of draught beer for 6 euros you couldn't go wrong.

Location

Coast/Beach:

The beautiful beaches along the Blue Coast including Portinho da Arrabida are approx 20 minutes drive. Sesimbra beach and town are well worth a visit 21 km distance. Most beaches have cafe/restaurants, loungers for hire, water sports etc.

Travel:

The Villa is reached by car approx 35 minutes from Lisbon Airport or approx 2 hours fifteen minutes from Faro Airport.

Distances:

Lisbon City Centre 35km, Palmela 5km, Setubal 15km, Sesimbra 21km, Alcochete Freeport Leisure/Shopping Centre 27km. Railway station to Lisbon City Centre 4km. Supermarkets in Palmela 5km or local store in Quinta do Anjo plus restaurant, bar. Azeitao 5km is a beautiful village with the famous Jose Maria da Fonseca and Bacalhoa Vineyards.

The villa is beside the leisure golf course on this beautiful modern resort, which is situated in a region of Portugal known as the Blue Coast. This area is full of exciting things to do and visit, excellent vineyards, golf courses and beaches. Activities include, water sports, mountain biking, horse riding, walking, fishing, dolphin watching on the Sado estuary, hot air ballooning, sight seeing - visit the picturesque villages and castles with fantastic views such as Palmela and Setubal. Shopping in the many superb shopping malls including the Colombo Shopping Centre near Lisbon (one of the biggest in Europe) or Freeport Outlet Shopping (the biggest in Europe) and only 27km. The regions wines and muscatel must be tasted with a visit to the Wine Museum in Palmela to start you off on the Wine Route.
