About the Owner

Hoppins Farm is our home in beautiful East Devon. My husband Dan and I live here with our 2 horse mad daughters and dog Lupi. Dan and I have travelled widely and lived in Asia for a number of years. On our return from Asia, with 2 small girls, we decided to quit the South East and relocated to Devon - a decision we have never had cause to regret.

Fantastic accommodation

  • 5 of 5

The Piggery conversion has been done thoughtfully with plenty of space inside and out, and everything you need. The little extras such as tea, coffee and milk means you don't have to worry about shopping straight away. This is an ideal place to relax but with lots of places to visit within a short drive. An ideal base for walking, or running if you feel more energetic! We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

A great place for any couple wishing to enjoy the peace of the Devon countryside and coast

  • 5 of 5

The Old Piggery is a superb conversion of an old building to a modern, comfortable one bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living room accommodation. The description was exactly as stated. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. The bathroom is fantastic; the bedroom has an EXTREMELY comfortable bed! The kitchen has all you need in a holiday house. With regard to location it could not be better; a little way back (10 minute drive) from the coast; a peaceful rural farm type setting, with shopping closeby. We will return!

Wonderful place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a 3 night stay at The Piggery. The accommodation is beautiful, by far one of the best we have ever stayed it. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and a lovely, secure private outside area where the dogs were safe (one of our dogs likes to run off given the chance) and a gas BBQ we used every evening. We received a very warm welcome from Dan, Jill, their daughters and Lupi. He is hilarious and such a character. We were given free range to roam their land, the location is just beautiful, such a peaceful spot and lovely views from the patio area. The Piggery is ideally situated for exploring the Jurassic coastline which is stunning and beautiful "chocolate box" villages. We had a wonderful weekend break and felt sad to be leaving. will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Thank you Harwood Family, we hope to visit you again in the near future.

The Perfect Piggery.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful holiday at The Piggery. It was exactly as stated in the details, very clean and well maintained, and in a very good location. We could easily reach lots of places we wanted to visit. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and we would certainly recommend this property to others.
