Lovely, modern spacious fully equipped two bedroom first floor apartment with WIFI and shared pool situated in the Spanish town of Rojales a 10 minute drive inland from an unspoiled and picturesque 11 kilometre beach with port and marina and boat trips to the island of Tarbarca.

This small Spanish town with Moorish origins is situated on the river segura and is surrounded by farmland and orange groves with mountains in the distance.

There are landscaped areas to sit around the river and artisans caves, a golf course, bars and Spanish and international restaurants, a water park, lively theatre, a museum a weekly out door market, cycle paths and areas to walk and sit and enjoy the view.

The apartment is located within a 30 minute drive of Alicante airport and 45 minute drive from Murcia airport.

A lot of thought and care has been put into providing everything you need within the apartment for a comfortable stay. There is also UK satellite flatscreen TV, DVD with library, cd player, iPod doc, coffee pod machine and wifi is available

We loved your,apartment.we relaxed the moment we opened the door. It was light and modern and comfortable. We loved the roof garden as it was so private and easy on the eye and we spent most of out time there!

We were looking for a quiet area to be without all the hussle and bussle of package holidays, and this was perfect still plenty to do and places to visit. It was out perfect location has had family close by. The pool was good and perfect size.

I really enjoyed the balcony as you got to make the most of the all day sun passing round.

It was like loving home from home.

I will be looking to return next year as we enjoyed it that much.

Very pleased with the apartment, clean, spacious and a lovely roof top sitting, dining and sun bathing area. The apartment had all the appliances to wash clothes, cook meals and watch television. Bedrooms clean and spacious, shared bathroom also clean and with room enough to swing a towel. Nice shared pool outside. More of a play pool than for an Olympic competition but great to take a plunge in.

Spent most evenings taking advantage of the roof top barbecue. Although apartment was situated just out of town from Rojales, shops, restaurants and supermarkets easily reached on foot or by car.

Rojales town has a number of bars and restaurants, in particular it,s Thursday market is very popular. Car hire is a must (I got mine from Alicante airport and took advantage of excess car hire cover from "insurance4carhire.com.")

The beaches of Guadamar and La Marina are in easy reach, as well as the lovely town of Torrevieja.

All in all we found the holiday just what we needed to chill out.

Fabulous location

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment, we enjoyed sitting on the patio for breakfast and morning coffees. The garden sun terrace gave us lots of privacy to relax and sunbath as we as enjoyed many BBQ's during our stay. The views are amazing. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for self catering. We look forward to returning later this year.

a hidden gem

My partner and I stayed here recently and had a wonderfully relaxing holiday.the apartment is spacious clean bright and well kitted out with everything you need in the kitchen.The roof terrace is a lovely outdoor space above the flat complete with barbecue.

The owner's went to a lot of trouble to make us feel at home and provided loads of information about the local area,beaches and restaurant favourites.

This is a great value apartment in a lovely quiet location but very close to cafe,restaurants and shops.

We will definitely be booking again later in the year.

Owner's Response: We enjoy cooking so have provided all the utensils and gadgets a good cook would expect in our well stocked modern kitchen. We also provide the basics in the cupboards such as condiments and cooking oil for the use of our guests.

From the Owner

We bought the apartment because the Vega Baja valley is green and varied. It is renown for its healthy climate because of the nearby sea and salt flats. The ring of mountains surrounding the valley keep the healthy salt air in the valley. Guardamar just 5 miles away has a wonderful 11 kilometre unspoilt beach backed by forests and dunes. The people are friendly and welcoming. Rojales is populated with 80% Spanish and has a lovely feel to it with bars, restaurants, a theatre, museum, water park, golf course and market. it is set in orange groves and the smell of orange blossom is beautiful for several weeks of the year. There are lots of towns with historic centres to explore, mountains, beaches, ports, and cities with good shopping amenities in striking distance by car.

10 minute drive to the unspoilt beach of Guardamar which is 11 kilometres long so you can choose a quiet part or busier areas with restaurants and bars according to your taste. There is also a port and marina with a boat trip to the island of Tarbarca

Also la Marina beach is a similar distance.


Alicante airport is a 30 minute drive.

Murcia airport is a 45 minute drive.


There are numerous towns with places of interest to explore. beaches, old moorish towns, hills and mountains and ports are all within just a few minutes to an hours drive away.

Further Details:

There is a Thursday open air market in Rojales and there are numerous shops and supermarkets, the nears being 5 minutes walk.
