Apartment, Nerja, Costa del Sol, in the centre of town near the El Salvador church - Las Palmeras Is In The Centre Of Nerja Two Minutes From The Beach And Balcon De Europa

Las Palmeras is a lovely one bedrooms apartment on the top floor of a two storey block and can be accessed by a lift or stairs. The apartment is comfortable, homely and spacious .It has a new modern kitchen. It has a balcony with partial sea views and faces onto the street (ideal for watching the world go by). The apartment has a communal pool with well maintained gardens which are suitable for relaxing and sun bathing The gardens have excellent mountain and sea views and overlook the Salon beach. It is in the centre of Nerja and conveniently placed for bars, restaurants and shops. It is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, hob, oven and microwave. It also has British tv channels, cd and dvd player and a variety of games and books. The bathroom has a full bath with overhead shower. It has a balcony with table and chairs and partial sea views. There is a communal roof terrace for sun bathing, drying washing etc.. A number of Nerjas beaches can be accessed within a five minute walk. Street parking is available just outside Las Palmeras. There are sun chairs and beach towels in the apartment which can be used by the pool or on the beach. There is pay as you go WiFi available.

I first came to Nerja in 1993 and fell in love with it. I then spent many holidays in Nerja and bought Las Palmeras in 1998. I have rented it out for 18 years for both long term and holiday lets.

I love the spanish lifestyle and its panoramic scenery including its white washed villages, mountains and lovely coastline. Nerja a former fishing village has quaint characteristics and is famous for its balcon and caves. Nerja is fairly small and therefore easy to get around. There are many bars and restaurants to choose from therefore suiting all tastes.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest blue flag beach is a 5 minute walk and sun beds can be hired. Other beaches are within walking distance.

Travel:

Malaga airport is 45 minutes by car. There is a regular bus service from the Airport to Malaga. There is a regular bus service from Malaga bus station to Nerja, where taxis can be hired and take you to the apartment (approx. 7 euros). Walking from the bus station to the apartment is about 20 minutes. Car hire is not essential as the apartment is in the centre of town with bars restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. A taxi from the airport is about 65 euros (each way).

Distances:

Nerja is surrounded by picturesque white washed villages including Friglianna, Maro and Torrox Pueblo. A regular bus service can take you to all of these. The journey takes between 20 and 30 minutes to these villages. Nerja is famous for its Caves which are about 10 minutes from the town. You can get there by a bus or taxi. Granada is about 2 hours away by bus which is famous for its Alhambra palace.

Further Details:

Nerja is famous for its Balcon de Europa which is within a short walk from the apartment. The Balcon can be seen from the communal pool and gardens. Nerja town centre is full of shops, banks, restaurants and bars and WiFi cafes. There are several supermarkets within walking distance of the apartment. Water sports can be purchased on some of its beaches. It also has tennis courts, public swimming baths, gymnasiums and culture centre where films and shows are shown. Nerja has a weekly market which is a hive of activity.

Booking Notes:
All bookings must be made on a booking form. Booking forms must be fully completed. A non refundable deposit of 25% of the total must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be made no later than four weeks prior to the arrival date. Keys to the apartment are sent out on the receipt of the balance to be paid and must be returned following departure. A refund of 40% is given up to the 14th day prior to arrival, following this no refund is given.

Changeover Day:
Bookings can be made for any day of the week. Access to the apartment on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged, is 2pm. Departure must be no later than 10am unless otherwise arranged.

Notes on prices:
Reductions are given for rentals over one month.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen Towels and linen are included. Beach towels are also included. The property is cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. Spare clean towels and linen are provided for bookings of more than one week. Electric, water and gas are included in the price. For stays longer than one week linen is left for a change or if you prefer you can request to have someone change the beds etc.. for you.
