Unusually spacious and bright for an old town property, the apartment holds all its French character but with the benefits of all mod cons. Seconds from beautiful beaches, the ramparts and wonderful museums (The Picasso museum). It provides great comfort and space.

Why Kate Kirby chose Cannes - Grasse - Antibes

Bought this characterful apartment from an elderly Parisian lady soon after falling in love with it in October 2010. I think it's an absolute gem and I feel very lucky to have found it. I haven't yet come across anyone who doesn't feel the same.

What makes this apartment unique

Antibes is simply the best town on the Cote D'Azur, the most unspoilt, the old town is absolutely charming, early morning swims followed by Espresso, croissant and a stroll around the market. If you're a food (and wine) lover, you'll be in heaven!

Well positioned, very comfortable

A very clean and neat apartment well located in the old town.

Furnishings were more than adequate and the bed was comfortable.

The welcome from Connie, her explanation of what was available and how things operated ensured that our stay went very smoothly, checkout was easy.

Overall a very warm and comfortable stay over the Christmas period.

Brilliant apartment in a perfect location

We have just returned from an 8 night stay in this brilliant apartment in Antibes old town. It is a well stocked apartment and Conny, who met us with the key , was incredibly kind and helpful. ( she even came out to us midweek in response to an email asking about the TV channel to watch Euro football on !!)

The location is perfect, on a street with bars , restaurants and shops. Despite this the apartment is peaceful as it overlooks a quiet courtyard. It within easy walking distance of a beautiful safe beach and there were chairs, umbrella and beach towels provided all of which were light enough to carry to beach.

We did various day trips out on the frequent and cheap bus service to Cannes and Juan les Pins. Nice is only a bus ride away too.

We would highly recommend this apartment.

relaxing; home from home

Lovely spacious apartment with everything you need for self catering. Great location. We stayed for a week and cooked evening because the Provencal market, a stone's throw from the apartment, sold lovely fruit and vegetables and as we are vegetarians this suited our needs, plus the kitchen was so well equipped for cooking. Convenient and close to the train station so we took the train most days to explore the Cote d"Azur. Lovely, friendly feel to the Old town; great shops and market. Conny is a great host, helping us to feel at home. Comfortable and ideally situated in Antibes.

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful place

We had an excellent holiday in Antibes. The apartment is lovely, light and airy with big windows and high ceilings. Everything we needed was there, good comfortable bed, plenty of storage space and a well equipped kitchen. The bakery opposite provided delicious fresh bread and pastries and the market at the end of the road provided plenty of local delicacies. Conny gave us a good welcome and is a mine of information. She even fixed the TV when we had a problem with the aerial!

There's no shortage of restaurants in Antibes; our favourites were Les Vieux Murs and La Marmite.

There was no need for a car as everything in Antibes was within easy walking distance and we visited Nice, Vence, Frejus and Biot by train or bus.

The only disappointment was the sea which was not inviting for a swim because of yellowish foam along the edge.

We would definitely recommend the apartment to any couple with a love of France and would go there again ourselves.

Absolutely fantastic

This is a huge apartment in the best location possible. The apartment is well appointed with everything you could need, home from home. The balcony is very small but overlooks the courtyard of the restaurant next door which is brilliant. It's close to the gorgeous beach at Antibes and amazing harbour. Lots of places to eat and drink and the market every day is amazing. Fresh cakes and pastries to die for are opposite the entrance to the building and the quaint little streets around are a pleasure to browse.

Antibes and the surrounding area is a brilliant location to immerse yourself in the culture of France, however if you're looking for the usual beach tourist holiday this is not the place. Once you've been you will fall in love with the area and want to keep going back year after year. This apartment is the place to be!

Let's not forget Conny! What a lovely woman, extremely helpful and full of great tips about where to eat/drink and find the bargains. Correspondence with Kate, the owner, was easy and again very helpful. Thank you. We will be returning

An absolute gem!

We really loved staying in this apartment.The location is amazing -right in a little shopping street in the old town close to the Antibes Market,and a short walking distance to the beach.The appartment is beautiful,nicely decorated,really spacious ,comfortable and peaceful.It has absolutely everything you could need.There were even beach chairs and an umbrella for guest use.The owner was lovely to deal with and very helpful as was Conny,the appartment guide,who greeted us with a lovely bottle of wine , fresh flowers and plenty of tips for our holiday!

I would highly recommend this apartment and really hope we will get a chance to come back and stay here again.
