Thank you for the wonderfull stay at your appartment. We had a fantastic time taking part in the World Enduro Chanpionship in Torres Vedras. The racing was hard but it made it much easier knowing we had sutch a wonderful home from home to came back to each evening. The chicken pie is a winner!! Thank you for the best meal we had eaten for ages!

A fabulous fortnight in Portugal!

The apartment was gorgeous, really spacious and clean, with all the facilities it advertised. Maria, the owner, was there to greet us and she provided everything from beach towels to early breakfast provisions in the fridge. We had a wonderful time, as did our two children. Our 12 year old son loved the pools and tennis and football facilities. We also loved the balconies with the lovely views. A wonderful holiday - I can't recommend it enough.

Being on the second floor, the apartment gets plenty of natural light that provides a very bright/warm and peaceful ambience. The location is extremely good. As we are from Lisbon, we like to be able to enjoy the commodities of a big city but not the everyday hustle. Our property is located in a very interesting strategic point, close to everything and yet away from it all, in a beautiful and tranquil environment.

Activity and Interests


Portugal’s 600km west-facing coastline has the best waves, miles of golden, sandy beaches, and many tiny, rocky coves to explore. You have the beaches of Peniche, Santa Cruz and Praia Azul that are world famous for water sports such as surfing and kite surfing. The nearest beaches are within 20 minutes (by car) from the resort, making an ideal morning, afternoon or all day outing for the entire family.


Lisbon airport is conveniently located just 30 minutes drive from the resort.

A car is recommended.

Alternatively, taxis are available at the airport.


Turcifal village is 3 kms away through the pretty vineyards and rolling hills. Torres Vedras is 5km and is a large bustling town with many shops and supermarkets. It is also home to the Arena Shopping complex.

Nearest airport: Lisbon International Airport at 40 kilometres = 30 minutes.

Nearest ferry: Lisbon Harbour at 45 kilometres.

Nearest train: Lisbon at 45 kilometres.

Nearest motorway: A8 - Junction 7 at 2 kilometres.

Nearest beach: beach at 15.0 kilometres.

Car: recommended.

Further Details:

The hotel/resort offers facilities, at additional cost, such as: spa, restaurants, bars and kids club. 18 hole championship golf course, driving range, tennis courts and equestrian centre. The village of Turcifal (5 minutes drive from the resort) provides a fully equipped supermarket with a full range of food, beverages and household goods. Finally, the local town of Torres Vedras (10 min drive) has a full range of community services including a public and a private hospital, a children's playground, cafes and restaurants. To go a litle further, you are in an exceptional strategic location to visit places like Lisbon: 45 kms (not too many cities have such an intriguing mix of the old and the new, making this a city for unhurried exploration and a place to get lost in); Óbidos: 25km. This unique walled town dates back to 308bc and is best explored from the rampart walk that surrounds the town. Sintra: 28km. Unesco world heritage site has the beautiful pena palace as well as the vast grounds in which to explore.

Mafra: 12km. The palace of Mafra: baroque architecture and tranquil gardens.

Ericeira: this typical fishing village has over 50 restaurants many of who specialise in serving famous portuguese fish dishes and shelfish. Santa Cruz: a group of beaches with extensive miles of golden sands, surrounded by majestic cliffs. Cascais and Estoril: this area is known to be rich in sights and attractions: Estoril holds the Casino and the grand prix race track.
