About Val

My family have been visiting this area for decades, and were delighted when Bryn Tirion became available in 2007. We go as often as we can, but are pleased we are able to share the cottage with others - our guest book speaks for itself!

Why Val chose Lleyn Peninsula

We love Lleyn Peninsula and the Morfa Nefyn area because it has a beautiful unspoilt coastline and is only a couple of hours from our home in South Manchester. The beaches were featured in the Sunday Times best UK beach review and many are national trust owned, including Porthdinllaen only a short walk from Bryn Tirion with the award winning Ty Coch pub right on the beach. The area also has one of the most picturesque golf courses in the UK including 27 holes with unrivalled sea and mountain views.

31st May 2013

Thank you for a wonderful week at your fabulous cottage. All three generations loved the comforts of the cottage-fabulous books, great range of toys for the 4 children, lovely showers, beds etc. We were so lucky to have non-stop sunshine and warmth all week so we really enjoyed your fabulous garden and alll the games in the shed.

spent all the week on 7 great beaches but Whistling Sands was the best. We called it our private beach as no one else was on it until 11am!

we would love to come back again and see all the other attractions in the area, no doubt in wellies and winter coats next summer!

25th July

The cottage is beautiful and quiet. I love being so close to the beach and the shower is amazing!!

4th January 2013

We all had a brilliant time here, the house was lovely and was great for driving and walking to the beach. I especially enjoyed to Nefyn beach and Whistling Sands. It was great fun.

A charming cottage peacefully located in a great seaside village

  • 4 of 5

We are regulars at this pretty cottage, and always look forward to our visits. We welcome the peaceful location and the lovely garden, and Morfa Nefyn is one of our favourite villages on the Llyn. On the practical side, we love having the Aga on for our Easter visits and it's great to have a good selection of crockery and glasses. We also find the 2nd (en-suite) bathroom invaluable. Wi-fi seems good but TV reception has a tendency to drop mid-programme - that's our experience anyway. We look forward to future visits. A Barter

Beautiful Cottage, Stunning location.

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time we have stayed at Bryn Tirion, this time the decision was that of my eleven year old daughter, so that in itself should be enough of a recommendation.

The cottage is down a secluded road, and this gives it it's tranquillity, tastefully and practically decorated, it gives an old world charm with all modern convenience, TV, DVD player, WiFi and even a stack of vinyl records to play on a Pye Stereogram, there are books and games for all to use, lovely garden with a barbecue at the end, the kitchen has all modern appliances as well as an electric AGA, which keeps it cosy and there is always a place to boil the kettle. The location of Morfa Nefyn is ideal, local shops, garage and post office, check out the Ty Coch Inn on the beach, travelling around the Lleyn Peninsula will uncover many mor amenities to keep all the family occupied, Many Thanks to Val for letting us use this wonderful place, I am sure we will return.

A Great Break

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the cottage for a family birthday getaway and had a wonderful time. This is the ideal location to get away from the city and relax in wonderful surroundings. The house is lovely and very comfortable. It has a nice style to it particularly the dining room with 60s stereogram. The garden is well kept and I imagine this looks even better in the summer. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to all communications. I would definitely reccomend this property for a quiet family break.

Excellent cottage and stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this well provisioned cottage which was lovely, warm, well maintained and clean.

Val's administration and help was spot on -- we liked the convenience to the beach, local amenities, the Aga and the record player which made me nostalgic to my youth. Both my teenagers were happy with WiFi and as a family we appreciated having the dog stay with us.

We would be more than happy to revisit

All in all, we had an excellent time

Fabulous holiday had by all.

  • 4 of 5

We've just returned home after a week long stay at Bryn Tirion and what a wonderful time we had. The cottage is just lovely. We have been to many other Welsh cottages over the years and have sometimes been disappointed that they are too much like 'houses' rather than traditional cottages, but Bryn Tirion did not disappoint. We loved the Aga, and tried it it even though we had a very hot week! We too full advantage of the BBQ that has been built at the bottom of the garden - perfectly hidden away so that it isn't too tempting for little Toddler hands to get to! The cottage is really well equipped, even down to toys, books and DVDs for children which was a great help. We fell in love with Abersoch beach, only a 20 minute drive away and the most perfect sandy, golden beach. All In all, a great week away, in a lovely cottage. We feel fully refreshed.

We holidayed at Bryn Tirion in mid March and were lucky enough to have the most wonderful weather, lovely warm sunshine and beautiful blue skies.

Bryn Tirion is a delightful haven, a very pretty cottage and a beautiful garden with lots of nooks and crannies where children (and our dogs) loved playing. The interior of the house is pretty and quaint with a definite sense of style.

The cottage is extensively equipped with everything that you could possibly need to cater for all weathers.

Val, the owner is on hand to help with any queries and nothing is too much trouble for her.

We made extensive use of the lounge with a roaring coal fire, to sit and relax after a day out exploring the countryside and the lovely beaches. This "hidden piece of heaven" is very well located for visiting the many attractions of North Wales, Anglesey and the North Wales coast line, Abersoch is very close by, Porthmerion the beautiful Italian village and a host of other attractions.

All of my party were thrilled with their stay including my 5 year old granddaughter who told me "Nana I want to live in this house forever!

I would recommend "Bryn Tirion" to anyone wishing to holiday in the UK.
