Casa das Aguias is built into sloping countryside with its grounds and interior accommodation arranged on various levels. From the swimming pool, lawn and a pretty rock garden, a flight of steps leads up to the house. Here the spacious living room opens onto a side patio and is in two sections, a comfortable lounge being separated by two steps from the dining room. Completing the ground floor accommodation are a well equipped kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms. A marble staircase leads upstairs where there is another bathroom, as well as a twin bedroom with beautiful views and a spacious double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a dressing room section and a large balcony with sea views.

We love Albufeira because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport less than an hours drive away.

We rented this villa for the last 2 weeks in July and there were five of us in our party (2 children 11yrs and 15yrs). The villa is located not far from the Velamar Hotel and has easy access to local restaurants and supermarket. My father was with us (65yrs) so we did not walk to the beach but it was only a couple of minutes in the car, otherwise it would have been approx a 10min walk. The villa itself had everything that we needed and more. The access to BBC and ITV was an added bonus just to keep up to date with UK news. The villa easily sleeps 8 people and the master bedroom has a large dressing area which could be used for extra beds. The maid service is very thorough and the villa and gardens are in excellent condition. We have been lucky to rent many lovely villas in France, Spain and Portugal over the last few years but this one seemed to offer everyhing - location, facilities and cleanliness - we will definately be back.Recommended for:Families with Teenagers.Scoobie's Scotland

Lovely villa in a good location.

Beautiful private villa which is in a good location not too far from shops and amenities. The outside pool area is fantastic,not overlooked by any other properties with well kept gardens. When we had a problem with the pool, the owner was very quick to get it sorted out.

The only negative was that there was no hand soap in the bathrooms or dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher. This is a very small negative in what was a wonderful stay!

We would definitely return for another visit!

Beautiful villa perfect for families. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Family of 8 returned from a week stay in Casa De Agua. The owner, Sandro, is a very helpful in the lead up to the holiday. Always replied to any questions we had via email.

Sandro met us on arrival to show us around his property and also stopped by the day before we left.

The villa itself is set in a brilliant location. A quiet beach town between Albufeira and Vilamoura. There is plenty to see and do within 1/2 hour car journey. We had a hire car for the week that we used everyday and only used 1/4 tank.

Facilities in the villa are great, and very accommodating for families with children. However, there are lots of steps inside the villa and in the grounds of the property. Our 2 year old enjoyed the play area outside but we had to keep an extra close eye on him due to all the steps. It's perhaps not the best villa for those with limited mobility.

The pool area is very nice, it is not overlooked and quiet when needed. There is plenty of patio furniture and table tennis to enjoy. It was well worth the extra money for the heated pool for the toddler.

There is plenty of storage space in all the bedrooms with hangers provided.

The kitchen is big with plenty of utensils, crockery and cutlery.

Only 1 toilet roll per bathroom was the only essential provided. So we had to buy that and more items like hand soap / salt/pepper / tea/coffee/sugar. There is a small supermarket 5-10mins walk away that we used for daily groceries, but we drove about 15mins to the nearest Lidl for bigger food shops.

As we didn't use up everything, it would be interesting to see if the non-perishing items are left or cleared out before the next guests arrive.

If you arrive at the villa late, after travelling it would be nice to have a small welcome hamper to see you through the night, saving you from hunter/gathering late at night. This is the only reason for not giving 5stars.

Overall we had an excellent holiday with plenty of great local food and drink to gourge on. We recommend getting a hire car, but it's easy to get a €10-15 taxi ride to Old Town Albufeira to the west or Vilamoura Marina to the east. The reception staff at the hotel at the bottom of the street were happy to book for us or you could flag one down at the bus/taxi stops on the main road.

The cleaners come twice weekly, replacing bed linen and bath towels and pool towels if required.

I would definitely book to stay at this villa again with or without children.

Beautiful Property, Perfect Location

A group of 10 of us (Work Colleagues) stayed here for 10 days from 30th September, and had a wonderful time. This Villa is set in the perfect Location being the last property on the lane so no overlooking neighbors or passing traffic, but still close enough to local amenities.

The Swimming was fabulous and never empty of people!

All in all an excellent villa for a family or for entertaining and we all hope to be back next year! Thank you Sandro :)

Excellent villa and location

The villa was very nice, plenty of room for our family of 10 people, owner Sandro is very helpful and speaks good English,

Cleaners are very good and come twice a week, kitchen is well equipped.

Location is excellent with supermarket a 10 minute walk, bus stop 5 minute walk.

Pool is great the water is amazing especially when it's really hot!!!.

Absolutely wonderful holiday

I cannot say enough good things about this villa. Sandro (the owner) is fantastic and was waiting to greet us even though we arrived very late. We stayed with my mum and our two very young (6 months and almost 2) boys. The Villa is very well equipped, sandro heated the pool so it was warm enough for the boys, the cleaners were amazing, the villa is spacious and the gardens, play area and pool wonderful! It is secluded and yet you can walk (15 minutes) to the beach and there are restaurants and shops just minutes away. It looked wonderful in the advert and is even better when you get there. I really didn't want to leave - really hoping to go back next year

For the youngest people thre are lots os attractions day and night, such as: zoomarine, waterslide parks, horse riding, sea water sports.
