Some lovely comments in the Little Albion cottage visitors book -

Yurt review 2014 : We loved this place from the minute we got there. Patrick and family were always available to help and point out where to go. Every amenity was available and being able to have a camp fire every night was great. Myself, my partner and both dogs all had a great time. I'll miss the evening dog walks by the Pandora pub and saying goodnight to the pigs.

Looking forward to the next visit already!

Yurt review 2014 We had an enjoyable holiday at Albion Farm yurt. The boys especially loved making a camp fire! The log burner in the yurt kept us warm during the rainy nights! Plenty of logs available, no extra charge for it. Electricity included in price. The yurt is spacious with a comfortable bed, well equipped with eating and cooking equipment and good size seating area outside. The campsite has a good layout and the facilities are very clean. We highly recommend camping at Albion Farm Yurt and we can't wait to visit again!

Yurt review 2014 Loved the well equipped kitchen, the flowers in vases, the wood burner and the rustic furniture. Loved the peace and quiet at night and most of the day. Loved isolation away from other people and the helpfulness and friendliness of the owners.

The nearness to to the sea was great

Yurt review 2014 Liked: Private location, no other campers / yurt close by.

Perfect yurt location close to Mylor, Flushing and Pandora Inn.

Plenty of space and private facilities.

Good customer service, Patrick and his wife were on hand if we needed them but left us with privacy during our stay.

Albion Cottage review winter 2013/14 Little Albion Cottage and the Courtyard apartment has been the perfect place to stay for the wedding at Mylor. We have been very comfortableand being able to relax before and after the wedding and the preparations added a lot to a very special occasion. Thank you for your hospitality ns kindness. The countryside and sea walks around Mylor and Flushing were very beautiful even in winter.

Albion Cottage review Winter This has been a lovely cottage for Christmas and new year in Mylor. We have been very impressed by the standard of the cottage and will be returning. Thank you for the champagne and welcome.

Albion Cottage reveiw As always we have had a wonderful holiday in our favourite cottage and part of the world at Mylor. As always children loved the tennis court and trampolines and we will be back. Thank you so much for another happy time.

Albion Cottage review from Maine USA. A Cornish cottage holiday just as we imagined it as we escaped the Maine winter. We are so sad to be leavingas we had a wonderful time in your Mylor cottage. The kids will miss the trampolines and we will miss the walks around Mylor and the Pandora inn. Thanks for everything and hope to be back one day. Come to Maine- you know where we live!

Peaceful, relaxing and child friendly

  • 5 of 5

A lovely cottage where the children loved bouncing on the trampolines, playing tennis, meeting the chickens and the dogs. Beaches were about a 30 - 40 min drive away. Falmouth was a 10 min drive away and we recommend the park and float! Local shops and pubs were within walking distance and our hosts were very welcoming and attentive, going out of their way to help us when needed. A most enjoyable stay.

Homely, peaceful and great location

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was great and Pen and Patrick were very welcoming lovely hosts. Peaceful and homely, great for a family stay plus plenty for younger kids to do - play and explore.

Ideally located for exploring and access to nearby Falmouth to buy essentials and to eat out or get take away.

I would highly recommend staying here and would probably return again when visiting Beth at university.

Thanks Pen & Pat, we had a lovely time.

A very welcoming, spacious cottage

  • 4 of 5

We found Little Albion Cottage easily despite the quiet rural location, while only less than a mile from the village of Mylor Bridge which offers the convenience of all things you would find in a town. Upon opening the door of Little Albion, we appreciated the spaciousness of the property, the wonderful log burner which had thoughtfully been lit prior to our arrival, the cream tea awaiting us in the kitchen and the lovely decorated Christmas Tree demonstrated the care and attention our charming hosts Patrick and Pen give to their guests. One more thing - the main bedroom: Bright, airy, large and a bed with soft egyptian cotton linen, we had difficulty leaving in the morning! All in all a very comfortable family holiday home.

From the Owner

We moved back to Cornwall in 2000 from Sydney Australia because we love Mylor and Cornwall. Both places are very special, but with a good wetsuit the beaches and waves 25 minutes north are like Australia! (a little bit cooler) Add the the range of walks, heritage sites, and activities including beautiful gardens, castles, villages, food and drink as well as the sailing, ferry trips and all that can be done down here in Cornwall, too numerous to mention. We love the whole Eden project philosophy thing too.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Newquay at 25 Miles Nearest Barpub : Pandora Inn at 1 Miles Nearest Ferry : Falmouth at 5 Miles Nearest Train : Truro at 8 Miles Nearest Restaurant : Pandora at 1 Miles Nearest Beach : Flushing at 3 Miles

We are close to Mylor Yacht harbour and the Pandora Inn for creekside walks but for surf beaches we go to St Agnes, Chapel Porth, Porthtowan and Holywell beaches which are about 30 minutes by car and have free car parking to national trust members too. Local beaches are Flushing 10 minutes, a small harbour beach and quay popular with locals, beaches at Falmouth include Gyllingvase - about 20 minutes by car.

Car is essential. Train station is Truro - 20 minutes 8 miles. Flights to Newquay 30 miles.

Mylor Village 1 mile, and Mylor harbour 2 miles. Flushing is 2 miles. Penryn and Cornwall university is 4 miles. Fallmouth 5 miles.
