Apartment in a villa in Alvôr, Western Algarve, Portugal - Placed Only 200 Metres Far From The Center of Lovely Villa of Alvôr

Casa Sao Pedro comprises two stylish and spacious three bedroom apartments with contemporary furnishings and soft décor creating a cheerful summer ambience. Identical in every detail, each apartment has a sitting room with a rattan style sofa and armchairs, AC , open fire, TV and a balcony or veranda bathed in morning sunshine. Two twin bedrooms ( one with Ac and other without AC) and a double bedroom with AC, each have uplifting individual décor and share two independent bathrooms. Outside, the refreshing swimming pool and sun terrace enjoy a fine degree of privacy, with a barbecue for dining al fresco on those long Algarve summer evenings.

Hello. My name is Maria Helena. I am a bank retired woman 70 years old, married with a bank retired man too. We worked in Lisbon all the time. Had our children there. They have grown up and both are married now. We have 4 grandchildren. We like Lisbon but now we prefer the Algarve to live. No stress of the cities. Good sea to visit and to dive. People that think about holidays not about work. So we live now in Alvor - Algarve - Portugal. In the meanwhile we rent our properties. Great 3 bed apartment in an excellent location

The apartment is well equipped and in a great location for Alvor centre, a car is not required. The sun is on the pool from around 10 until 7 during July which allows you to burn the candle at both ends! The lounge balcony has the sun early in the day and the kitchen balcony late afternoon so you can find shade if required. The pool was cleaned several times and our linen changed twice during our 2 week stay.

Our only negative comments would be that the third bedroom doesn't have air conditioning and the gas oven doesn't heat to the temperature that the gas mark should provide,

Lena lives on site and is always willing to help or offer assistance if required.

We hope to return on our next visit to Alvor.

1st Floor apartment

We have stayed in Alvor many times and in this residential area several times.The apartments are ideally situated for shops, bars and restaurants and a pleasant stroll to the beach.

The apartment rooms are spacious and have two balconies with different aspects, one with views out to sea,

I am glad to say that during our visit the neighbours' noisy large dog was absent, perhaps they have moved! Would happily stay here again.

1ST time at this villa.Have been to one of lenas other apartments before so knew what to expect.It is as described located in a very nice area just behind the old hotel/apartments on the way towards pingo leaving alvor.It has 3 very spacious bedrooms[none ensuite] but 2 separate bathrooms/kitchen come dining room and also lounge/large balconey\s.One thing i would say is that both bathrooms look like they are in the process of refurb so should be nice when finished.It would suit large family or alright for sharing.Be careful of large dog nextdoor although in behind fence can be quite fearsome at night time when entering villa[dont let that put you off].So less than 5 mins to town/same to pingo supermarket and abt 15/20 mins to beach.

Casa São Pedro stands on a peaceful residential avenue within an easy 300 metre stroll of the bustling centre of Alvor village. Popular restaurants and lively family bars line the narrow streets mingling with small shops and pavement cafés amidst traces of Alvor’s historic past in the form of the 16th century church. Beside the quaint little harbour, open air restaurants look onto the river estuary, and the magnificent Alvor beach is a little over 1km from these superb Algarve holiday apartments. The lively resort of Praia da Rocha is 5 km away and the port town of Portimão and its colourful marina 7 km.
