Why the owners chose this property in Vera Playa: After much research, we chose Vera Playa as the resort is small and unspoilt and surrounded by lovely coves as well as typical long stretches of sandy beaches.Vera town is a true Spanish market town with a bullring, plaza and numerous cafes to chill and soak up the sun.

Unique benefits of the property: Built to the highest standard, the triplex is clean, light and airy, with none of the noise and tackiness that so often blights other complexes. Within 200 metres of the local beach, it has numerous restaurants within walking distance, but also access to golf course

Notes on accommodation: This unique three-bedroom villa offers sunbathing terraces on all 3 floors and is situated in a quiet, select setting with the lovely, sandy Vera beach at the bottom of the road. A select number of restaurants are available within 5 minutes' walking distance, thereby offering sufficient choice without it being somewhere where they may as well sell candy floss! This property offers more space and flexibility than any apartment and, as such, feels like a home from home in the sun. Outside: Outside is a large dining terrace with table and chairs as well as large sunbathing terrace and barbecue area. This property is not near a main road so there is no traffic noise. The villa is part of a small complex which is quiet as most of the other villas are not for rent and the large communal pool is just 50 metres away with gated access. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, beach towels, bedlinen provided. Property cleaned for arrival. Towels and bedlinen changed weekly inclusive in price. A cot and high chair is also available free of charge. Other: The front terrace is covered so that you can dine al fresco at lunchtime in the cooling shade

Vacaciones muy buenas

Unos amigos hemos pasado una semana de vacaciones en Vera. La casa tiene muy buenas conexiones con supermercados y algunos bares. Está a pie de playa, la ubicacion es fantastica. Es bastante amplia y tiene piscina.

El propietario estuvo muy atento, tuvimos muy buena atencion.

good size family tripex in peaceful area

The triplex was easy to locate and a good size for large families as there are 3 floors. Parking is easy and the villa has washing machine & dishwasher which if your a Mum with a family actually makes the stay a holiday for you to!! Some bars & restaurant within walking distance for evening meals after 8pm, and an excellent beach bar restaurant to the left side of the beach which serves food all day and evening which is good quality and reasonably priced. Other amenities are all within a very short drive, and there is lots to do for families with young/er children just down the road in Vera Playa especially in July and August we could see the season ramping up with loads of activities along the waterfront . We did a lot of driving round the local area and into the mountains and the location near the A7 makes this ideal. Martin and his parents who looked after us whilst we were out there are most helpful and very kind and nothing was too much trouble for them, they gave us information on the area and on things we wanted to do , making the holiday most enjoyable.

The triplex villa is within 200 metres of Vera beach, which extends for several kilometres to the beach resort/port of Garrucha, some 10 minutes way. The beach is wide, sandy and never crowded. Mojacar's resort beaches are a further 15 minutes away. The Cabo de Gata National Park is further along the coast with stretches of untouched beaches,numerous coves and sandy bays.


Airports: Almeria, 45 minutes. Murcia, 90 minutes. Alicante, 120 minutes, accessed mostly via smooth motorway driving. Airport to door directions are provided.


Villaricos - 5 minutes. A fishing village with 2 harbours,numerous restaurants, a beach offering scuba diving and boat trips. Garrucha, 10 minutes. A small port and beach resort at the far end of the beach from the triplex with its own fish auction on the quay and renowned seafood restaurants. The beach resort of Mojacar is 25 minutes away by car and has many small bars and restaurants by the sea. Its old white hilltop town has wonderful views out across the Mediterranean.

Further Details:

For children there is the Mini Hollywood (Oasys) Wild West Theme Park about 45 minutes drive through pleasant countryside at Tabernas. Real spaghetti Westerns were filmed in this area and there are daily shoot-outs there on Main Street. Just 5 minutes from the triplex is the Aqualand water park open in summer within walking distance as well as great go-karting in nearby Garrucha. There is also golf, tennis, riding with scuba diving and boat trips from Villaricos and Garrucha during the holiday season. You can explore the countryside, mountains and the National Park, popular with ramblers and fishermen as well as sun worshippers. There are numerous weekly markets to browse in, offering farm produce and clothing bargains. Each town and village has an annual fiesta. For shopping there is a Consum (Tesco-quality) hypermarket a couple of minutes drive away which is stocked with everything you may need including a very good selection of fresh produce, cheeses, hams, meats and a very interesting good fish counter (deep sea angler and shark as well as the usual suspects).
