Spacious apartment suitable for families. In addition it has a balcony with magnificent sea view. Situated in a quite area at the Old port of Skiathos. Helios Apartment is found in an elevated position just above Skiathos harbour. Due to the raised position of the apartment an excellent sea view is guaranteed. A spacious living area is the focal point of each apartment, after a busy day exploring Skiathos Town or just relaxing on the beach, this living area is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of Greek wine.

Great View but needs update.

Apartment has a fantastic view and it is placed litteraly on the cliff side and at a great location in an old part of town. I had hoped to sleep listening to the waves against the cliff but nearby bars played loud music outside until 6 AM. Closing doors at nigt was the solution. There are 3 apartments in the building each taking up one entire floor, we had the top one and this has the best view. Rooms are big and overall there is plenty of space for 4 people. Cleanliness was so so, spiders nest under the ceiling, closets full of trash from previous occupants dirt behind doors etc. Drain in bathroom did not work we contacted the agent of the apartment (it is not owners direct!) but it was not fixed. Problem was the shower stall was covered with at too short curtain and all the water came out to bathroom floor and did not drain, There was no shower head holder so i had to tie it up with strings and plastic bags. Several lamps did not work, ligtbulbs were broke etc. Kitchen equipment was VERY sparse but we were able to make a little breakfast. No iron or hairdryer. When paying they ask for cash only and if asking for a receipt they make a lot of trouble, it took 20 minutes to get, was handwritten and in greek. This could be a GREAT apartment if a small amount of money was spent on a few details. But again the view made us overall happy about it all, if you are 4 persons you get a pretty cheap stay close to the city and beach etc.

Excellent location

View from balcony is outstanding. Location from Skiathos centre with restaurants and taverns is excellent. Be aware that there are nearly 40 steps up to property, so it won't suit everyone. Both bedrooms are a good size. Key pick up was easy and our cases were taken to our apartment. I have already recommended this apartment to our family. An easy walk to water busses which take you to a choice of beaches for just 3 euros.
