About the Owner

We have owned an apartment in Sant Elm for close to 15 years. We have holidayed in Sant Elm since 1991, with our three children, who are now married themselves, two of them have children of their own and they all still visit Sant Elm every year. Our children made friends with other British apartment owners and their children and grandchildren also, with several local families. We live in the UK, located in West Yorkshire, both my wife and myself, running family businesses. I have to travelled to most parts of the world with my work and business; I have not found a better place to holiday than San Telmo. It has everything required for a relaxing peaceful holiday, scenery, beautiful beaches, some of the best restaurants on the island, generally friendly and helpful people.

Our experience from arrival to departure was fantastic. Great unit with everything you could need to enjoy your stay.

Modern fixtures throughout. Easy to book.

The location is amazing. The kids could walk down and swim / snorkel and we were less than 100 meters from them.

Short walk to great food in the village of San Telmo plenty of places to choose from.

Our favourite. Tiggies and Calle conils

We will definitely return.

Spacious, well-appointed and well-siuated.

Provides a good impression immediately on entry. Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable sitting room. Beds are comfortable, too and the bathrooms well-appointed, though I might suggest they would benefit from more effective shower curtains.

It was great that there is a sheltered cove only 50m from the apartment with safe swimming and convenient rocks on which to sun-bathe.

The village is only 10 minutes walk away and has a good range of restaurants and bars. We particularly liked the Italian restaurant and Tigy's but also enjoyed several of the others. The beach provides good swimming and shelves gently so entry is easy and when we went in the second and third weeks of May the water was a pleasantly refreshing temperature.

Sant Elm is certainly off the beaten track so a car is definitely a good investment. We visited and much enjoyed places all over the island but especially, the Porto Cristo caves, Alcudia and Port Soller.

If you need help or advice Senora Lolita in the Tourism office is widely knowledgeable and the office the best source of wi-fi in or out of office hours.

Very happy with our first experience of using Owners Direct

The apartment was well described, clean and tidy with a good range of facilities. We really enjoyed having a very relaxing space at the end of a long walk.

The owner was very helpful and patient with my many queries. The keys, directions and general information about the local amenities arrived very quickly after paying for the apartment. I would definitely recommend to friends.

We loved Sant Elm. Very beautiful with a surprising range of restaurants. The only thing I didn't like was the narrow twisty road down to the village, but there is a regular bus service.

Lovely apartment

This apartment was comfortable, pleasant, very close to the sea in a beautiful spot. Ideal for anybody who would like to go to Mallorca for a relaxing holiday, swim & snorkel in very clear water and explore the beautiful coast & mountains. The weather was wonderful, the sea was warm, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

First Trip to Sant Elm area

This was a very pleasant flat in a well designed complex .

All the equipment in the flat was in first class condition including the furniture beds and bedding . We also found everything to be exceptionally clean ( probably the cleanest holiday accommodation ever ) .

The sea is immediately on site with some of the clearest water you could want . Beautiful Spot !! Main entry to the sea is by rock or ladder but there is also a small pebble beach 50 yards away .

Shops and restaurants 10 mins stroll .

You will want to return.

We fell in love with the area when we first visited Sant Elm for a week’s holiday back in 1991. Having 3 young children, we found it very accommodating for them and us adults alike. A very safe, peaceful place, we immediately made friends, with apartment owners and local restaurant and business owners.

Activity and Interests

There are two beaches in San Telmo, 1 small and the main beach with the facility to rent sun beds and parasols, both are within 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The swimming areas of the warm clear crystal waters are cordoned off by rope and buoys, making it a very safe environment. There are several sea front restaurants and small bars to relax after sunbathing and swimming. There is a ferry from San Telmo to the Port D' Andratx and also one that visits the island of Dragonera.


The main Airport of Palma is within 45 minutes by car/taxi. There is also a regular public bus service via Palma City centre and Andratx. Car hire is recommended, there are several other beautiful small villages to explore on this south west coast, driving through the mountains and stunning countryside. The city of Palma is well worth a visit, central inexpensive parking available, probably one of the most interesting cities in Europe, with some magnificent architecture and of the cathedral.


The Port D’ Andratx, only a 15 minute car/taxi ride - also again there is a regular public bus service. Port D’ Andratx has some selective shopping, a choice of several good quality restaurants and bars, supermarket, newsagents. For the boating enthusiast, a walk around the marina is a delight, the restaurant and bar at the Club De Vella are incredible. The town of Andratx is the same distance from the apartment, with a traditional central square, shops, bars, Italian restaurant.

Further Details:

In the late Summer/Autumn, many people visit San Telmo to take walking Holidays. There are several local walks, a deserted Monastery SA Trappa and many others. The area is popular for both road and mountain bike enthusiasts. Another very popular activity is Scuba Diving; there is a school in the centre of San Telmo village. There is no through traffic in San Telmo; San Telmo is literally the end of the road. The next village to San Telmo is Sarraco, from there the town of Andratx, which every Wednesday, is market day, a full size market, selling fresh produce, to shoes cloths, jewellery and many fake watches. The Port D' Andratx is an active fishing port, with several large fishing boats, which leave early morning, returning to port between 4.30 and 5.0pm with their catch, which can be purchased at the local fish market. Paguera is on route to Palma from San Telmo, approximately 20 minutes drive, a lively coastal town with several shops, bars, restaurant and large sandy beach. There are several supermarkets in all the local towns, fresh bread and produce can be also purchased at the mini supermarkets in San Telmo. The restaurant in front of the apartment complex, is very popular, ideal for the special evening dining by the edge of the sea, in high season it is recommend that you make a reservation. The restaurant has been visited by several celebrities and sports people.

From the Owner

Mallorca is only two hours plus flight from the UK. We always organise a hire car to be at the airport when we arrive, the apartment is a forty five minutes car ride away. Knowing Sant Elm and the local area, we do not have to think where we are to eat, which supermarket should we use. We can both keep in touch with our business and should it be necessary continue to work.

  • Outside: The apartment has the benefit of two terraces, with outside dining furniture, private sunbathing and relaxation including an awning on the rear terrace for those who like to take a break from the sun. This private complex is totally enclosed with 3 entrances 2 small and 1 main large gate, beautiful well maintained gardens and pathways. There is direct access to the sea with stainless steel steps giving access to deep swimming which is cordoned off by buoys, ideal for snorkelling. There is also a communal sea water swimming pool restaurant and bar, (not belonging to the complex), where you can rent sun beds or sunbath on the flat rocks by the sea. The bay of San Telmo has several public moorings that can be booked in advance for those who may wish to hire a boat. The south west coast of Mallorca is quite stunning with magnificent cliffs, small hidden away bays all the way up to Deya beach and the Port of Soller, passing Michael Douglas and Katherine Zeta Jones villa overlooking the sea. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels, not beach, linen included, the aprtment is cleaned before arrival and on departure.,
