Thank you for looking at our apartment which we hope you will love. Our main aim is that you are happy and that the booking procedure with us is as worry free as possible and that you have a wonderful holiday in El Cotillo. Make sure you read all our reviews from many previous clients that have stayed with us. This spacious villa apartment has one good sized bedroom with Queen size bed The terrace has views to the mountains and the village of El Roque and is only a few minutes walk to the beach and quaint restaurants of El Cotillo. If you like to spend the day at the beach with a picnic we have many beach accessories for you to use (even beach towels). The apartment which takes up the whole rear corner of this Moorish style building has a large south facing private terrace. The gardens to the side are planted with yucca trees cactus and various other plants of the canaries. El Cotillo has bars and restaurants all within 5 minutes walk away. The sun shines most of the day on the front terrace. The apartment has been newly furnished and decorated to a high standard and would be the ideal holiday retreat for couples wishing to get away from it all. All clients receive an information pack with details of apartment and directions. The apartment has free WIFI access.

Impressive apartment, as previously described

The apartment lived up to expectations outlined for us in earlier reviews. It was very clean and conveniently located not only for the main local supermarket but also the surprisingly good range of restaurants and tapas bars available in El Cotillo. The lagoon beaches are in reasonable walking distance - I estimate it took me about 15 minutes to walk to the larger La Concha lagoon beach (as it is called in Google Maps).

Emails were answered quickly and helpfully by Ken and Sharon both before and during our stay, including a useful tip for car hire. Having available for use in the flat beach loungers, sun shade, goggles and snorkel plus a few other items made our time on the beach even better.

I would happily recommend the flat for use.

Extremely welcoming and comfortable.

The apartment is well positioned in El Cotillo and very close to the supermarket. The village is very easily accessible on foot. The apartment was very clean and well maintained with a good range of crockery, equipment and quality linens. The free WiFi was great and very useful for making everyone envious of our holiday in El Cotillo. Ken and Sharon were most helpful and informative both before and after our arrival and sent information ahead of our arrival to inform us of the location of the apartment and the layout of the town. I would recommend this accommodation as very good value for money and clean and well presented.

Wonderful holiday

The apartment is very comfortable and peaceful. The patio areas are great places to sit and read or have a glass or two of sangria in the sunshine. There are several supermarkets nearby, with one having everything you could need.

El Cotillo is very beautiful. The lagoon beaches near the lighthouse are so pretty and relaxing and the beaches near the village are just a very short walk away.

Ken and Sharon reply very quickly to emails and sent out a very detailed information pack.

We were collected and returned to the airport by Iain who was arranged by Ken and Sharon. He showed us round the village on arrival and made sure we got into the apartment. What a wonderful welcome.

We are definitely planning to return to El Cotillo and the apartment.

Wonderfull.I would use again .

This was my second time at this superbly located apartment . It's near the supermarkets and the wonderfull beaches in El Cotillo . The apartment was very spick and span and somehow felt more homely this time . The solar powered nightlights in the garden was a cheery addition . The apartment is a very comfortable base for holiday and the friendly owners are easy to deal with . Four and a half stars and a bit .

Pleasant apartment in a quite town

This lis a very pleasant apartment with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. There are two sunny,,private patios, one in the back and another in the front, so you can catch, or avoid, the sun all day. The ground floor apartment is easily accessed with lots of parking out front. Within walking distance were a good choice of restaurants, some of them very good, and we liked to walk to the water in the afternoon and watch the sun set over a glass of wine or coffee. A great place to relax!

Nearest Airport : Peurto Del Rosario at 35 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Corralejo at 15 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Corralejo (9 Hole) Calete De Fuste 35K at 15 Kilometres Nearest Beach : El Cotillo Lagoons at 250 Metres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

The most beautiful spacious beaches and lagoons can be easily walked to from our apartment in 5 minutes or so, or if you prefer to drive, parking is easy and you may want to go further along the coast to find your own piece of beach.

El Cotillo has all types of beaches to suit everyone whether you want to get away and relax on your own or go to the more exhilarating beach.

Travel:

The airport is approximately 25km away and we send detailed directions in our information pack. Corralejo is around 15km away where you can find lots of bars and shops and is easily reached by car or local bus.

Corralejo has a very nice harbour with bars dotted around and a live music square. The closest Golf is at Corralejo (9 hole) or larger golf course at Calete De Fuste 35km.

Distances:

We have the small village of El Roque very close by and Lajares approx 4 km away which has some very nice restaurants and tapas bars. Although hiring a car is the easiest way to get around and see the island it is no way essential, as the bus service is very good to most areas.

Further Details:

El cotillo has local grocery shops that we try to support where you will pick up most of what you need, or a larger supermarket on the way into el cotillo.

there are a couple of banks in el cotillo with cash machines where you can access money 24 hours. You will find the local bars are very reasonable and most serve tapas. The village has two harbours, the old harbour and the new harbour which is used for bringing the daily catch of fresh fish. The old harbour has a few bars and restaurants, and is very popular with visitors to El Cotillo.

some restaurants to make a note of are: La Rustica, La Mirador (old harbour) Canales Cafe (Lajares village) for tapas: Accoraldo and Marea Alta (El Cotillo). If you are feeling energetic you can hire a bike from the local store. Also there are some wonderful walks along the beaches that go on for miles. Up to date clients comments are from Annie & Ashley from Cornwall and they say: 'Quote' we stayed in this well-equipped apartment in October 2012. It is ideal for a couple looking for a relaxing holiday with a lovely sunny outside space and another more shady rear terrace should the heat get too much. We would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely apartment. We have stayed in El Cotillo many times over the past 20 years and obviously love it. There are plenty of really good places to eat, in particular everyone should try Torino’s new bar overlooking the surfing beaches for majestic views and a paella to die for, not to mention the sunset. La Rustica serves a mouth-watering steak. A fantastic holiday thanks to Sharon and Ken. We would definitely stay here again. Unquote. Our clients comments are up dated frequently.

Booking Notes:
Please confirm dates with us before booking your flight. Prices are based on 2 adults for 1 or 2 weeks unless otherwise agreed. A £50 deposit is payable for 1 week, or £100 for 2 weeks to secure your booking. A security deposit may be asked for if your holiday is longer than 3 weeks. Final payment will be due six weeks before your departure. We require full payment if a booking is made within six weeks of travel. The apartment should be ready to be occupied from 3.00pm and must be vacated by 11.00am. We will of course accommodate late/early arrivals where possible.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible.

Notes on prices:
Prices are pw for 2 adults. A £50 deposit is for 1 week booking or £100 for 2 weeks. The balance is due 6 weeks before travel. Bookings taken within six weeks of departure will need to pay the full balance. Linen/towel change plus small clean are for a 2 week booking. Towels and linen change are not included for a shorter duration holiday (less than 11 nights) this can be arranged and paid for locally.

PLEASE NOTE Cancellaions: Deposits and balances paid in full are non refundable unless cancelled dates can be filled but in any case not returned if cancelled within 3 weeks of departure date.

Very easy parking outside the door. It's only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and just a little further on to the nearest beach. We have a lovely little garden to the front and good size terrace for eating out or sunbathing. The apartment is spacious airy, and comfortable. The supermarket is a couple of minutes walk.

We will accommodate early arrivals and late departures where possible. The living area is roomy with double doors leading to the patio and terrace. The terrace has a large table and 4 chairs. The bedroom has a large wardrobe with sliding doors. The bedroom is tiled throughout and has Queen sized bed with side tables and lamps. A door leads from the bedroom to the rear gardens and terrace. The apartment has a safe for you to use. Disclaimer: We do not except any liability for loss or damage to clients belongings, including passports, money and any valuables. Clients are advised to take out adequate travel insurance. Outside: The patio doors open out on to the private terrace from the lounge area where you can walk around on to the garden. The gardens and terrace look out over the large rustic plain with views to El Roque and the mountains. The large tiled terrace has 2 sun loungers with small drinks table, large table and chairs with parasol where we get the sunshine most of the day! Having a drink and listening to some music on the terrace before wandering off into the village for your favourite tapas is the perfect end to a lazy day on one of the many beautiful lagoon beaches around El Cotillo. There is a large canarian garden to the side and rear of the apartment that is accessed from the bedroom with an assortment of local plants etc. Utility Room: There is a utility room which houses the washing machine, terrace chairs, beach parasol, wind breaker, ironing board/iron. beach bag including cool bag. Clean linen and towels are supplied (Beach towels included) clean linen/towels for stays of 11 nights or more. If you need clean linen/towels for a 8/9/10/ night stay (a 25e charge will apply)
