Old Stable is a charming, spacious two bedroom ground floor courtyard cottage with a large bright and roomy combined kitchen come dinning room. The front of cottage looks out onto the wonderful views of Aigas Golf Course with a backdrop of the mature Aigas Forest. This is a delightful area to explore and enjoys spectacular landscape and wildlife. This property if perfect for a small family or two couples. There is easy access to the front and rear of the property onto the courtyard with a South facing aspect and ample parking.

Aigas Holiday Cottages provides guests with quality accommodation at the perfect base to enjoy all comfort relaxation that a holiday that a Highland has to offer. Set on a family owned farm and 9 hole golf course we offer a variety of accommodation in our four properties options to sleep 4 - 6 people. We pride ourselves in providing quality, clean and comfortable holiday accomadation to help you have the best possible holiday. Guests can choose from our large roomy Coach House (dog-friendly house) packed with traditional features and log burning stove or choice one of our cosy but spacious courtyard apartments. All located just a few minutes stroll from the 1st tee on the golf ourse and woodland walks.

Aigas is a perfect location for those which to explore or simply to unwind and enjoy the countryside. Situated only 4 miles from the charming village of Beauly and 15 miles from the lively Highland capital Inverness. All our properties are very comfortable furnished and fully equipped and are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring our guests enjoy their stay.

Holiday guest can also enjoy 50% reduction on our own 9-hole course a dream for any level of golfer and for the non golfers you can still enjoy a well-deserved slice of homemade cake in our coffee shop.

About Carol Masheter

Aigas Holidays comprises of four properties set in a charming courtyard seeting on our family run farm and golf course owned and run by Jessie and Peter Masheter and thier son and daughter who assist in running this unique family business and have set up thier own families homes on the farm.

Carol Masheter purchased this cottage in 1960

Coach house as spacious 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) property full of traditional cottage character with a log burning stove in the sitting room.This cottage has a large spacious kitchen/dinning room, sitting room and two toilets so plenty of room to relax in. It's ideal for a large family or a party of friends.

Old Stable has an open plan living area apartment with generous sized rooms looking out on to the golf course. This cottage sleeps 4 and is perfect for a couple or small great for a small family.

We never take living in this stunning location for granted and we are delighted to share our knowledge and love of the area with our guests. We also lots of information and maps on places to visit in our on-site coffee shop which has wi-fi.

Aigas is a wonderful base for a Highland holiday, with the added attraction of having it on unique 9 hole parkland course which guest enjoy 50% discount.

There is plenty to offer in the area for families and people that love being in the great outdoors. Notes on accommodation: This Ground floor courtyard cottage has night storage heaters, conventional electric heaters and electric is metered so you pay for what you use. Meters are checked on departure. Pets are not permitted. We have a no smoking policy in the cottage. Guests should arrive at 1600Hrs, please advise us if you intend to arrive later in the evening or the next day. We ask our clients to leave by 1000Hrs as this allows us to make sure the cottage is cleaned/maintained for our next visitors. Outside: There is ample parking space adjacent to the cottage with shared garden area. BBQ, outdoor seating and table area. and well equipped golf practice area.

As usual brilliant stay, actually stayed in all properties here and loved each one, better each year. Been coming for 11years and hope for many more. Fantastic golf course and great base for sightseeing too. Properties are excellent with all the comforts of home.

Super Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge

Wir waren im März 2016 mit unseren beiden Kindern (5 und 9 Jahre) dort.

Die Wohnung und der Außenbereich waren für den Aufenthalt mit unseren Kindern gut geeignet, wobei wir auch die meiste Zeit unterwegs waren. Die Einrichtung ist eher rustikal und weniger modern, so wie auf den Bilder auch ersichtlich. Uns hat es nicht gestört.

Von der Lage eignet sich die Wohnung als super Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden der Region nordwestlich des Loch Ness. Ob wandern im Glen Affric oder Delfine beobachten in Fort George/Fortrose, alles lässt sich super als Tagesausflug mit dem Auto machen.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett, sehr hilfreich beim Aussuchen von Ausflugszielen und haben unserem Sohn auch einen kleinen Einblick ins Golf spielen gegeben.

Wenn man etwas bemängeln will, dann wäre es nur die für uns doch etwas geringe Höhe der Dusche.

WLAN Empfang in der Wohnung wäre wünschenswert (auf dem Gelände vorhanden).

At Aigas you can step out your door and walk in the Aigas Forest, enjoy a game of golf, experience staying on a farm, enjoy trout fishing or canoeing on the river Beauly. Within a short drive or cycle, you can explore 3 Glens with a number of Munro's all in easy reach.


Aigas is an ideal central location to explore the North, East and West coasts.

Great Beaches on the East include Balintore, Nairn and Dornoch within an hours drive. A 40min drive will take you to Rosemarkie beach which is great for spotting the resident bottlenose dolphins.


Inverness Airport is a 27mile drive from Aigas. Car hire is available at the airport and in Inverness. Having your own car is essential to make the most of surrounding area. There is a good taxi service in nearby Beauly (5 miles) if required. There is a good public transport service from Beauly to Inverness by bus and train. Beauly to Kyle of Lochalsh (West Coast) is one of the UK'S most scenic rail trips.
