Outside: There is a large sun terrace immediately outside and a covered outdoor dining area with table, chairs and barbecue. Steps give access to the swimming pool, one level below and having an extensive paved terrace (but see accessibility). Pool measures 12m x 5m, has easy entry steps, shallow and deep end and has an electrically operated cover. There is an outdoor solar-powered shower. Utility Room: Second dishwasher, washing machine, wine rack. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen is included as is gas/electricity.

This large comfortable house had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. Though private it is a short drive from Callas where there are a couple of little shops, bars and restaurants. The local people could not be more friendly and kind. We enjoyed the pool, garden and BBQ at home and we also got out and about, canoeing, marketing, trying restaurants and visiting the beach. The house overlooks vineyards which welcome visitors and if you enjoy cooking its lovely to buy fresh ingredients at the market - the kitchen is very well equipped. The house is only an hour from Nice by car and the owner was kind enough to tip us off about roadworks etc with our directions. I think this villa is wonderful and good value, with air con and wifi, sleeping 9, it compares very well with other villas in the area.

The Mediterranean coast between Frejus and St. Maxime is 40km away and takes 40 minutes by car. St. Tropez is one hour distant – by frequent ferry from St. Maxime.


Nearby airports are:

Nice (60 mins); Toulon (75 mins); Marseilles (90 mins). The nearest railway station is Les Arcs/Draguignan (25 mins) which has three TGV trains to/from Paris daily, taking 4½ hours and two TGV trains to/from Lille in 6 hours. The distance by road from Calais is 725 miles. Junction 36 of the A8 autoroute is 12km distant.


Callas 3km, Bargemon and Figaniers 8km, Le Muy 12km, Frejus 30km.

Further Details:

Callas and Bargemon have most local amenities, including restaurants, cafe, an alimentation, a boulangerie, post office (with ATM). Le Muy has all facilities expected of a town, including two supermarkets. It has an extensive outdoor market on Sunday morning.

Booking Notes:
We send out a booking form which when returned with a cheque for the deposit of 20%, becomes confirmed. The balance is payable six weeks before the commencement of the holiday. One of the couple who act as housekeeper and gardener will greet you on arrival. A welcome pack is also provided.

Changeover Day:
This is Saturday although in low season we can sometimes be flexible. We ask that you do not arrive before 4pm and depart by 10.30am.
