Golden Mile, Puerto Banus / Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain - In A Wonderful Location With Just A Short Stroll to the Beach And The Paseo Maritimo Promenade.

The apartment has recently been refurbished and is decorated in an up to the minute style. There are doors leading out to wonderful gardens with water features such as fountains and waterways etc. The whole of the development has been built in pure Andalusian style and the main entrance has been designed on the lines of a mini Alhambra Palace. Senorio-de-Marbella has 5 swimming pools, tennis and paddle tennis courts, gym equipment, sauna, jacuzzi, restaurant and 24 hour security. The apartment has its on private courtyard where you can sit and have meals etc.

Stunning complex

The apartment was clean, contemporary and comfortable to stay in, exactly what was expected when we arrived. The complex is very well maintained, stunning scenery, secure and everybody was polite and friendly. The onsite restaurant/bar meant we could have a few lazy afternoons beside the pool. The security guard/s called us taxi's when needed and were very helpful with our luggage taking it up the stairs to our apartment.

Unless you enjoy a lot of walking, (which myself and my partner do) I would recommend to hire a car as it takes about an hour and a half (leisurely) to walk to Marbella and the old town, and three quarters of an hour to Puerto Banus.

However, the buses are regular and on-time, and a taxi rank is a ten minute walk. I will definitely be staying here again in the future, and will be recommending it to all my friends. Thank-you to Patsy for answering all my questions swiftly prior to booking the apartment and for allowing us to stay.

There is nothing I like more than to make people happy, and for them to have a wonderful holiday. The grounds and pool areas here have always been amongst the best in Marbella. I do think it is better to have a car here, but as you say there are great bus services into Marbella Town and Peurte Banus, each taking about 8 minutes either way. I don't know whether you walked along the beach road to these places, but I usually get to either in under the hour, but after all your gorgeous comments who needs to be picky. Once again Nuala definitely would love to have you back here in Senorio, and it was a pleasure to accommodate you. Best wishes Patsy.

Paradise

This is our second stay at this apartment and it will not be our last. It is, quite simply, heaven on earth. Everyone is so friendly, the guards so helpful and the apartment itself comfortable and beautiful. We hired a car both times and the parking is secure and ample.

There are friendly bars and restaurants nearby, or if you're feeling lazy, just toddle down to the pool bar for a meal or a drink.

There was good communication between the owner, but you are left to your own devices- no checking up on you!

We returned home on Saturday and on Sunday I was already checking flights!

Beautiful Place

Myself and my husband stay here for a week at the end of August, found this complex so beautiful and quiet, gardens and area kept spotless and security guards so helpful..Our one bed apartment was just perfect and ideal for a couple, found it so clean and so comfortable as we were looking for a relaxing holiday...had our breakfast every morning as all utensils supplied and to a very high standard.Beach and supermarket within 10 minute walk so took us a day to find our bearings as it was late at night when we arrived Restaurant closed at 9pm as resort quieter when we arrived...Highly recommend the beautiful walk along the golden mile and Puento Buenos as we loved it here, beautiful yachts, shops, reataurants,bars and take a boat trip, will return as loved Marbella

Gorgeous place

Me and my boyfriend recently stayed in this villa and had a wonderful holiday. The villa was right in between puerto banus and Marbella centre, there was a lovely beach walk down to puerto banus where we spent most of our time. There was many restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shops in that area. We rented bikes to explore the area even though it was only a short taxi ride each way, it was a nice way to get around.

As for the apartment we were delighted to see it was exactly the same as the photos. It was beautifully decorated and had all the facilities we could have needed. The complex was beautiful with many pools, gorgeous gardens, tennis courts and a lovely bar and restaurant. Being on the bottom floor the apartment stayed quite cool even when it was 40 degrees outside. It was lovely reassurance having the 24 hour security guards they were very friendly and helpful.

All in all it was a wonderful experience and well definetly be back again!

Disapointing

Arrived at this apartment after reading reviews and was excited but on arrival I was very disappointed as it was not all what it had made out to be. Found apartment grubby had not been cleaned properly, I had to clean pubic hairs from drawers and toilet. My husband saw 4 cockroaches in bathroom but never told me until next morning. Also we were very tired and hungry after travelling but when we went out to look for the so called supermarket we were told by a local it was a mile away couldn't find the restaurant on site must of been hid somewhere. Also there is no information at apartment to tell you where places are eg, the restaurants or supermarket. Went to go to bed at 11.00 when we were disturbed by new arrivals above and beside us. Children ran about shouting until 2.30am and could hear the adults talking above. When we eventually nooded off we were awoke at 7ish to the sound of the mosque calling to prayer. That was the last straw, we left immediately to a hotel at our expense. Would not recommend this apartment in high season and car needed.

Owner's Response: I was very sad to read the above response about my apartment. When the above people arrived it was the middle of August, and the time of the year when Marbella is very busy. It is also the time of the year when most families come with their children. Anybody who knows this development knows it is one of the quietest most relaxing places, and for most of the year it is totally idealic. So many people have written to me and said that it is like paradise with so many wonderful quiet areas to chill out. As for the apartment being grubby, I do my utmost to make sure that everything is left how I would like to find it, and have the maids in to clean and do washing for many hours just before new persons arrive. As for the cockroaches mentioned, this is totally beyond me, and can only say that when the people arrived they left the doors open, and as there has been workmen around fitting the cables for the British channels and wifi, maybe a nest was disturbed. I do know that no way were they there because my apartment isn't clean. I also have to defend myself regarding supermarkets on top of the development. Senorio-de-Marbella is in one of the most residential roads in Marbella, and no way would a supermarket be allowed,but on saying this there is an Aldi, Lidl, Supercor and Mercadona all within a close proximity. To say that you couldn't find the restaurant is crazy, as there is a La Pesquera restaurant, a part of one of the nicest restaurant groups in Marbella, just down by the main pool, literally a two minute walk. And please I would like to just finish by saying how they could have been woken up by chanting from the Mosque. I have never even heard anything early in the morning coming from that direction, and have the best sleep ever, far better than any I have at home in England.

Second Time Round

Our first visit here was for our friends wedding... The villa was secluded, private, quiet and perfectly stunning for one of the best weeks away we have had. The security is outstanding, you are free to visit any pool without crowds or noise to disrupt your break. We both feel now that we have to visit again once a year to relax. We feel like we can call it our second home as you can want for nothing more .... The location is central to the exclusive golden mile but also only a short drive away from the old town or from the stunning coastline. The owner is reliable, honest and very efficient when dealing with your booking. Sure you will agree after your visit.

8 minutes walk to beach. There is the wonderful Paseo Maritimo where you can sit at one of the numerous cafes and bars enjoying a jug of sangria or enjoy watching the sun set whilst sipping a cool gin and tonic overlooking the ocean.

The fabulous Peunte Romano Hotel and Marbella beach club hotels are both on this lovely stretch of beach..

Travel:

Malaga airport is 35 minutes away on motor-way or 45 minutes away on coast road. Gibralter airport is 50 minutes away.

Distances:

Benhavis, Coin and Istan are all interesting villages, and are all within a 30 mins. drive. Rhonda is approx. 1 hour away.

Utility Room: There is a separate communal laundry room with washing machines and dryers. It is situated in the corner of the square by our apartment next to the main office Jose or Carman will sell you a disc for the dryers (2 euros). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The hand and bath towels, plus linens are included. The maids will clean property before your arrival, and we would like property to be left in same condition. There is a maid service on development if required..Also a laundry.
