Just 2 mins from the sea, this garden flat is in a small chic residence in an exceptional situation, with swimming pool and sauna surrounded by a private, walled park. Step outside through double glazed patio doors into a large terrace of 15sq.m surrounded by private enclosed garden of 70sq.m within the park. Garden furniture, eg table and chairs, sun loungers and sun-shades provided. Interior, furniture is high quality and modern. WiFi/TV/DVD. Large double bed folds up with ease into wall-unit freeing up the sitting-room for general use during the day. Two fold-up single beds or a double sofa-bed also available. Kitchen is well-equipped, including washing machine. Tiled bathroom with shower over bath. Rental price is all inclusive. No extra charges for linen, towels, final clean etc. Also offered is a complimentary 'welcome' basket with fresh bread, home-made jam, coffee/tea bags/sugar and a bottle of wine. Hi, My name is Elizabeth and I have been living permanently here on the Cote D'Azur since 2000. I came with my boyfriend (John) for a short romantic break and immediately we fell in love with the region and returned within a few weeks and bought a property in Grasse. We got married a couple of months later and moved here permanently. We now live in Le Tignet, a small village on a hillside with stunning views of the Mediterranean and Lake St. Cassien, not far from Grasse and only 30 minutes away from Eden Beach Residence, our apartment in Cannes.

I love meeting the guests who arrive and it's a real pleasure to share with them my experiences of living in this beautiful region.

Wonderful stay

Myself and my three friends had a lovely stay at Elizabeth and John's studio apartment. About 20 minutes walk from the Croisette and a small supermarket only 15 minutes away, it was ideal for our stay in Cannes during the film festival.

Elizabeth was very welcoming and even provided a lovely welcome basket with bread, jam and a bottle of wine. She was also easily reachable if we needed anything at all.

Overall a fantastic stay and I would absolutely book with Elizabeth again if I go to Cannes.

Cosy Studio Apartment

We enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth & John's apartment. Elizabeth showed us around and provided lot's of info for our stay and responded to all queries quickly. The apartment is very clean, well equipped, comfortable bed and has a lovely little private garden with sunbeds. Apartment building and gardens are well kept in a residential area. Bus stop just outside apartment and beach a short walk. A few essentials in the fridge some tea, coffee etc and a lovely little pot of Elizabeths home mad plum jam with fresh crusty loaf was a very nice touch and much appreciated. We made great use of the buses as they are on the doorstep and travelled all around very cheaply. If you want somewhere close to Cannes but not central this apartment is ideal.

Cote D'Azure Heaven

The owners' description is perfectly accurate. The flat could not be much closer to the sea. without getting your feet wet ! There were all the mod. cons. you could need and the private garage was a boon, having tried in the past to find a parking spot within reach of Cannes, this was a bonus. The car covered 9 miles over the week we were there and we made full use of the patio and garden area. The owners are a lovely couple, and nothing was too much trouble. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.

I bought this Studio apartment as an investment and for pleasure. It is so close to the beach and to the centre of Cannes, where we spend quite a bit of time. We installed Wifi so we can use our computer when there to keep in touch. It is within walking distance to everything, including the Foreville Market, the famous Croisette and Palais des Festivals, Rue D'Antibes. From the apartment there is easy access by car or bus/train service to attend the Nice Carnaval in February, local Village Festivals celebrating the mimosa, the violet, the orange in March and April; the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix in May; Jasmine Festival in Grasse in August. This will give you a flavour of just some of the things you can enjoy while here as well as nice weather nearly all year round.

Nearest Airport : Nice International via A8 autoroute at 26 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Cannes Quay St. Pierre at 1 Kilometres Nearest Train : Cannes Central at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Plage du Midi at 0.2 Kilometres


2 minutes to walk to the beaches of Cannes, however by car or bus a large selection of beaches are accessible in less than half an hour, e.g. Antibes (10 minutes), Juan les Pins (12 minutes), Nice (30 minutes), Monte Carlo (40 minutes) or in the other direction St Tropez (1 hour). Bus stops are only a few steps away from Residence. If you decide that you want a change from the coast then Grasse is about half an hour by car or bus (610 stops outside and costs 1.50 euro).

Restaurants and local shops, 100 metres. All along the beach promenade, there are beach restaurants and snack bars to suit all tastes. You can walk or cycle the promenade in either direction towards Antibes or to Mandalieu-La Napoule and beyond. All along this route, you will be mesmerised by breath-taking views of the Mediterranean (le grand bleu), les Isles de Lerins (2 islands just off the coast of Cannes which are a 'must' to visit), the hills of L'Esterel (which will seduce you if you like to hill-walk) and much more besides. "

Booking Notes:
At the time of confirmation of the reservation, a deposit of 25% is requested. One month prior to the arrival date the balance is due. On arrival a cheque for £250 (or 300 euros) per week is requested and this will be returned on the day of departure following the handing back of keys and verification that the apartment is in good order.

Changeover Day:
Our preferred changeover day is Saturday, but we try to be flexible. Arrival and departure times are also flexible but normally guests leave before 11am. Please just ask and if possible we will try to accommodate your specific needs.

Notes on prices:
Prices include all towels, bedding and cleaning service, local taxes. There are no hidden costs. Finally, on your arrival, you will be offered a welcome pack including coffee/tea/local bread/home-made jam/bottle of wine to help you kick-start the perfect holiday.

Normally guests pay 25% deposit on booking to guarantee their reservation. The balance is asked for one month before the arrival date.

This is a peaceful neighborhood yet it is so close to everything. There is a lockable private garage for those who want to drive around & tour and the hinterland is easily accessible. Or, you can leave the car behind and walk everywhere-20 mins to the Croisette. If you are arriving from Nice Airport you can take the 200 bus or the Express Airport Bus and arrive within 20 minutes walk to the apartment or take a taxi as there is a Taxi Rank just beside the drop off point (Mairie/Hotel de Ville). Or if you arrive in Cannes by train you can walk or take a short taxi or bus ride to the apartment. Local bus stops 50m from Residence. Having private garden is so much better than being confined to a balcony. There is a real feeling of space to relax in. There is always so much going on in Cannes.

  • Notes on accommodation: Small residence within private park/swimming pool and sauna. Underground private locked garage. Garden apartment is 2 minutes from beach (Plage du Midi). Quiet neighbourhood, yet close to centre of Cannes, Palais des Festivals/Croisette/Rue D'Antibes. Railway Station (1.5km), from Nice Airport bus no. 200 drops off short distance from Studio. Cycle or walk everywhere or take the bus, all journeys in Alpes Maritime cost 1 euro; e.g. to Nice, Monaco, Grasse, Antibes, Juan les Pins etc. Outside: The main advantage of this apartment I believe is its private outside space, where there is an extraordinary large terrace with summer furniture, and private closed garden - perfectly adapted from French Riviera living. The grounds of the residence include manicured gardens and lovely pool area. All garden furniture (loungers, tables and chairs etc) and sunshades are provided for use in private garden. Just a few steps away there is access to a shared swimming pool (10m x 5m) and sauna, communal showers, changing rooms. This is a private Residence and not a Resort Hotel which means it is quiet and well kept. It is for those who are looking for a calm situation. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Quality towels and linen are included in the price. The property will be impeccable on arrival. Cost of cleaning at the end of the stay is included in the price. Depending on the duration of the stay, a mid-way change of towels and linen will be offered. Other: In the private garden: sun loungers,garden table,chairs, sun shades. The terrace area is south facing for those who love to bask in the sun and the other half of the garden is protected from fierce sunshine by palm trees and other exotic trees.
