Sleeps 6 . Modern 3 Bedroom/ 3 Bathroom semi detached villa in the Parque Da Praia area of Luz. Secluded but with very easy access to beach/bars & restaurants. Private Pool with heating (available at an extra cost ). Private parking, garden and terrace areas including first floor balcony to bedroom 1 and 2. Car is not essential. Cots / Camp Beds up to 2 max / Highchairs are available at an extra cost.

We are a family of four.

Our children are 13 and 11

We have holidayed in Praia Da Luz since our children were babies and have owned this house for 8 years.

It is mainly enjoyed by our family and friends who all love the location.

We chose the area because of the family feel in the resort. We now love the surrounding beaches and even though Luz beach is on our doorstep , each beach seems to offer something a little different and we love to visit them all. The children especially love the beach bar in Luz as it is great for them and us ! Definitely a relaxing holiday for everyone.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary


The fantastic beach at Luz is only 5 minutes walk from the property. There are many other beaches to visit in the area and this is highly recommended. Burgau, Salema, Figuera , Xavial , BlueWave + more. Many of the beaches have great beach bars offering good local food and drink.


Faro is the nearest airport and is approx 55 minutes away. Car hire is not essential.


The villa is walking distance from bars/restaurants and supermarkets in Luz. Lagos is the next largest town and offers Meia Praia beach, marina and excellent nightlife for all ages. The typical Portuguese villages of Burgau and Salema are only 10 minutes away by car. The rugged Atlantic coast and excellent surfing are 20 minutes away by car at Vila da Bispo - well worth a visit.

Great Walks , Tennis Courts / Lessons , Surf schools plus loads of other stuff are available in Luz or closeby.

Further Details:

Supermarkets offering delivery ( Baptista ) are available in Luz .

A number of others providing fresh bakery products too.

Booking Notes:
A 10% deposit ( minimum £250 ) is required on booking and payment in full is required 8 weeks before departure.
Should the booking be made for travel within 8 weeks payment in full is required.
Deposits are non refundable unless otherwise agreed.

Changeover Day:
Flexible out of high season. Thursday - high season. The villa is usually ready by 3pm on changeover days and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. If you require access outside of these times please let me know and I can see what we can do.
Pool heating is an optional cost of £135 per week and is recommended for younger children

Notes on prices:
Winter pricing excludes heating costs. Winter lets available - please contact. Under occupancy discounts considered out of high season. For Euro pricing/payment please contact me directly.

The location is great. You do not have to park a car to get to the beach - which can be tricky in high season. Beach walks before breakfast. Excellent walks for all abilities.

Outside Dining table with 6 chairs. Barbecue. Sun Longers / mattresses are provided for 6 persons. Garden areas are provided at the side , rear and front of the property ensuring that the sun can be enjoyed most of the time. Utility Room: Ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. (not beach towels). 14 night stay - includes mid-stay quick clean and towel change Additional maiding / laundry services can be provided on request.
