Situated approximately 100 metres from the main house in a corner next to an apple orchard, and with views over a field to the rear and side.
There is a duck pond to the front of the house with plentiful wild pond life, frogs, dragonflies etc.
The garden to the rear is secure for children, with a patio, garden furniture and a barbecue.

Anni and Nick live in the manor house so help is always on hand if the need should arise.
Le Manoir d'Annique is a traditional Norman group of houses with a small manor house home to the owners and two self catering houses. All are well spaced apart within the 4 acre garden. We offer well equipped kitchens electric heating and open fires for the autumn and winter. Each house its own terrace are with garden furniture and barbecue. A heated and covered swimming pool is shared by the three houses. Easily accessed from all the ferry ports it offers a delightful home for your holiday. Livarot is nearby for shopping and all the many tourist sites are easily reached when not relaxing in the garden. We also welcome larger groups of family, walkers cyclists, clubs as we are able to accommodate them here with ease there is plenty of parking. Local markets offer excellent produce plus visits to the local cheese factory and ciderie are most enjoyable. There are fairs throughout the year our local cheese fair is the first week of August.
We are Anni & Nick and we have lived in Normandy, France since 1992. Nick is a carpenter and works locally, he is a specialist in repairing the timber framed houses of this area. Anni ran a country pub in England for five years, cooking and entertaining is her passion. Annique was nearly a ruin in 1992 and many years of hard work has made it the property it is today. It was bought with the heart and continues to be the centre of our lives. Nick is constantly improving the facilities here. We have a large garden and enjoy trying to make it as nice as possible but keeping the rustic style that it should have. We love meeting new people enjoying a glass or two with them and discussing this beautiful region.
Anni Wiltshire purchased this cottage in 1992
We bought Annique with our hearts it was such a beautiful sad house in need of lots of TLC and money. It had not been lived in for over 30 years we managed to make it come back to life and filled it with lots of people enjoying their holiday. Livarot is a lovely rural area with small farms of pretty cows and attractive timber frame houses. The local people are so friendly and have made us so welcome. The food is wonderful with fresh produce available from the many markets. We are so lucky to live in a very rural place but with everything on our doorstep. The larger towns of Lisieux and Caen have most services we require. An excellent train service from Lisieux to Paris is a real bonus. Lovely sandy beaches are not far as well as the sophistication of Deauville and Trouville.
Annique has everything you need for a relaxing holiday with all the comforts of home. We are easily reached from all the ports and airports. It is a special place and it is not easy to put into words what it is that is so special. But people do keep coming back to stay here and we even have children now grown up who come back with their partners. We live on the premises and it is up to you whether you see us every day or only on check in and check out. We always try and sort out any problems with the houses straight away so as not to spoil your time here. We are close to so many different places to visit so it is possible to keep all the family happy, with most things not too far it is possible to combine two trips in a day ie beach for the children, museum for Dad some shopping for Mum.

We´ve been here more than once and we loved it to be there. The house is cosy and in good, rustic condition. You´ll find there all equipment you´ll need for a comfort stay..or if not the owners have been always helpful.
On the ground there are 3 houses incl. the Manor House and you can have your privacy or meet others, as you like. It´s beautiful and quite, you can relax in your own part of the garden or with a walk on the grounds looking nature or having a swim in the well maintained, large pool.
The near market in St. Pierre sur Dives is a must do on Mondays, other attractions like Chateau Vendeuvre and the near coast (about 40 min easy going) for Honfleur, Deauville/ Trouville are fixed points to visit.
There are plenty things to do (e.g. castles/ museums / the landing beaches) and to taste (like the local cheeses and e,g, Cider, Pommeau & Calvados) …you´ll find a lot of brochures there …and thanks Anni & Nick, there are always helpful with tips and ideas what to explore.
We will definitely come back...
