The apartment is opposite the sea and small beach. The large private water lido of Neptunes swimming club is close within the bay to which the public have access for a daily fee. Free wi fi access is available in the piazza and subject to transmission strength from the apartment balcony. Utility Room: Washing machine, deep bowl sink, whb, wc, worktop, wall cupboards, ironing board, water heater. Half tiled walls. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Hand and bath towels and bedlinen included. Apartment will be cleaned and equipped immediately before occupation. Other: Sitting room. Balcony overlooking the adjacent farmland and sea. Wall unit DVD player with variety of discs , side tables, rugs, ornaments, small cocktail cabinet.

Good location for walking, jogging, swimming, scuba, snorkelling, sunbathing, beach, winter sun break, good night-life, city breaks, cycling, sight seeing or just relaxing.

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is in Balluta Bay opposite the sea and beach. Other beaches are within half hour driving distance. Balluta Bay has a small sandy beach. Others around the Island are mixed sandy and/or rocky. The sea is warm and clear and generally safe to swim in with no severe tides or nasty animals.

Travel:

Luqa the main airport, about 15 minutes drive/ transfer from the apartment. There are no rail networks in Malta. Valletta harbour is about half hour away, with its numerous boat tours around the harbour, coast and abroad.

Bus transport is excellent, economical and frequent. Car hire is recommended to view the island and Gozo. There are many self drive hire firms nearby and the rates are economical. The owners can recommend you to some.

Distances:

St. Julian's and Balluta are at the centre of activity. Valletta, the Maltese capital City is within easy reach and the local buses travel to most of all the other places of interest frequently.

Further Details:

Ideal location if you are curious about Malta and Gozo and need a comfortable base for your excursions. Very central location with lots of interesting activity all round. Not essential to hire a car if you are happy to watch life proceed at the local level. There are several nearby supermarkets and corner shops within minutes walk, so eating in is easy. On the other hand there are a huge number of cafes through to excellent 5 star hotels and restaurants within a short walk.
