Direct access from garden gate to shared pools (one paddling pool for children) and gardens. Large roof terrace with amazing views over surrounding area. Located on a secure development overlooking the 2 championship golf courses and views across the river to Portugal. The house is only 20 mins drive to beaches in Isla Canela (Spain) and Monte Gordo (Portugal). Only 5 mins drive to pretty local fishing town of Ayamonte where there are numerous restaurants, tapas bars, shops etc

Notes on accommodation: Air-conditioning throughout which also functions as heating with separate temperature controls for both floors. Outside: House is on a generous corner plot at end of cul de sac with its own terraced garden on an enviable position on this particular complex. Amazing views over golf course, river and Portugal. Parking directly next to house with access through secure gate. Only a few steps to pool area from garden gate. Large adult swimming pool and children's paddling pool, benches and shades. Beautifully maintained communal gardens surrounding pool area. Utility Room: Utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board, clothes airer, laundry and cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided for up to 8 people and are changed mid stay for 2 week stays. Other: Stairs from first floor landing to large roof terrace with amazing views over surrounding area.

Surprising find!

We'd never really thought of holidaying in this part of Spain before but were pleasantly surprised. A large and lovely house, set in beautiful gardens, ideal for families as the terrace gate opens onto shared pool complex. Relaxing holiday as safe for children, we even read a few novels!

Ayamonte is a beautiful, traditional Spanish town, tapas bars were my favourite. Surrounding beaches are just what you'd hope for - clean and not crowded. The proximity of Portugal makes it ideal to enjoy both countries.

We'll definitely return to explore more....
