Substantial accommodation for large family

Although just a few minutes from the airport we were not disturbed by planes. Ideal location for beaches on the south and easy access to Mahon. The property has a fabulous pool and we enjoyed the outside space. Small suggestion to the owners would be to put some seating On the front terrace of the house overlooking the lawn to enjoy the morning sun. Recommend this property for large groups and families as the bedrooms offer versatile accommodation.

Nice size and location

We arrived at midnight with young children and was surprised to find no welcome pack so had to wait until I could get to the shops the following morning for milk and bread etc also power kept tripping out at least six times a day, the kettle if plugged in the kitchen tripped everything off. I had planned late departure at 9pm on our departure day then had email from owner reminding us to leave at ten, when reminded of our agreement he advised he had forgot and had other people arriving so we needed to leave by three. Therefore had to rush to exit with three children under five to find somewhere else to spend the day after we had bought food etc to use for a slow packing day with the kids in the pool! Also had complete power cut which shut off water for three hrs as well which owner attended to sort out.

Owner's Response: Dear Owners Direct, I send this email to confirm the bad experience we have had with the Collins family, we have been renting the house for over 10 years and have never found a people who would have taken care of the house and would have left it dirtier in a week, They need me to send pictures, another big problem was that they called me one day at two in the afternoon to tell me that they had no light, of course I called the electrician who was as fast as possible and what he found was that there were two of them The afternoon had all the lights of the house on, the lights of the garden and even the light of the interior of the pool, of course with so much consumption jumped the fuses, but not the fuses of the house but the fuses of the company counter. For this reason I have asked a report to the electrician and another to the company that supplies the electricity to tell me what was the consumption during the week that this family were. For all these reasons can not be returned the deposit of 200 € since I have had to hire an extra cleaning company to be able to fix the disaster and let's see what we are going to pay for the light receipt. I have been working with you for many years and I have never had to make any complaints but this time it is a case that I can not pass up.
