This Cassa is an attractive Spanish villa found in the residential area La Emperdrola in Calpe. The villa, set in its own grounds, has a real sense of privacy and the surrounding area is quiet, allowing for peaceful relaxation. Overlooking Calpe rock and the Sierra Bernia Mountains, it is very scenic. The gardens are south facing and so hold the light from waking up in the morning until sunset, ideal for what ever activities you have planned. The villa has a large swimming pool with sun loungers, pool shower, seating area, a separate shaded seating area, barbecue and a large garden. The villa will comfortably sleep six, there are pull out beds downstairs and can easily accommodate up to eight people. It would be ideal for two couples (with children) wishing to holiday together allowing shared daytime space but also allowing some independent living space. Or couples with children and grandparents making up the holiday group. Calpe town centre is 3km away.

Having stayed in several villas in Spain, Menorca and the Greek islands I can say that this is a stunning villa, with plenty of room and space in which to relax.

This villa is amazing, not too far from the main town which is stunning.

We had a really good time here, the split villa worked really well for us as we have a teenage son who was able to have his own space but he could still spend time with us if he wanted to.

Our 10 year old daughter loved the pool and the pool toys that were already there when we arrived.

The villa itself is on a huge plot of land giving you ample of space for barbecuing, playing football, or just relaxing on a sun lounger!

It is well equipped, the upstairs kitchen was useful for breakfast and the downstairs one for in the evenings.

We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the Calpe area.

Coast/Beach:

Calpe has two sandy beaches which have blue flag status and are a 5 minute drive away. There are many local beaches to explore, sandy or rocky, many with on site beach bars. There is a popular water sports diving, kayaking, windsurfing & hobbiecat sailing center where they speak good English 7 minutes away. Details are left at the villa for your information.

Travel:

Nearest airport is Alicante (70km) or Valencia (120km).

Further Details:

Calpe itself is a friendly Spanish town. It has a local market on Saturday, clean well kept promenades with good restaurants along the seafront and in the Old Town. It has a working fishing harbour where you can watch the boats land and sell their fish - especially good to the local restaurants. There are many festivals held throughout the year. As a larger town it has the full range of activities you may want golf, biking, tennis etc. Local towns include the picturesque Altea slightly further away the water parks of Benidorm or the popular and pretty UK holiday resort of Moraira, Javea and the Jalon Valley.

Questions I often get asked about our villa: Will we need a car? You can walk into town but it's about a 40 minute walk so you'd need to use taxis - or be super fit! Are the apartments connected internally? No they're completely separate. What do guests like about the villa? It's clean & the pool is cleaned weekly. The villa is private so you're not overlooked by loads of other villas. The area is secluded & the surrounding area quiet so if you like to relax & maybe read a book by the poolside - you'll enjoy the location.

  • Notes on accommodation: This villa has two separate living quarters. The main villa has 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living/dining room. The downstairs apartment consists of 1 double bedroom, shower room, kitchenette and large living room. Outside: The villa has a large swimming pool 10 x 5 and ample sun lounge area. There are three outside seating areas. One is by the pool and one in the large barbecue area, where there is a shaded pagoda with outdoor tiled table and chairs. There is also a seating area on the balcony which overlooks Calpe town and has sea views. The villa is walled with a lockable gate. There is a large area for off road parking. Security lights are around the villa for returning at night time. The villa is on a 1600 sq meter plot so feels very spacious and secure. Utility Room: Downstairs utility room with washing machine, iron, ironing board & hoover. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen, beach towels and bath towels are supplied. The villa is cleaned before each arrival. The swimming pool is cleaned weekly. Other: Upstairs has an outside balcony with a table & 2 seater & 2 single chairs with good scenic views of Calpe rock.
