Penthouse Apartment and Spa in Morillon, Haute Savoie / Rhone Alpes, France

Stunning top-floor, lift-served, valley facing apartment in the heart of Morillon Les Esserts in the French Alps.

With floor to ceiling glazing, exposed wood beams and double height, sloping rooflines, the apartment has a lovely penthouse feel. 3 double bedroom, 2 bathroom and 1 shower accommodation. The apartment is right at the foot of the main ski slope, giving unrivalled access to skiing and snowboarding in winter or mountain biking and alpine walking in the summer.

A very large apartment 88m2 and a high standard of fittings and furnishing. All bedrooms have sizable storage areas in cupboards under the eaves and have two bedside tables and velux windows.

Underground car parking with lift directly up to the apartment.,

Spa on the ground floor. Sauna, steamroom and swimming pool.

Price includes one car park space, 30% ski hire discount and end of stay cleaning. Additional cost for spa : Euros 20 per person or Euros 120 for a group for the week. Additional cost for linen and towels : Euros 30 per person.

Please note that the spa (pool, sauna and steam room) is not open in the summer season. In the winter season, the pool is open Monday to Friday 15.30 to 18.00 and Sunday only during school holidays from 4.00 to 18.00.

Why Simon Martin chose Morillon Village

Really close to Genva, nursery slopes and great sking conditions for children to advanced skiers. Its the 4th largest ski area in France, like the 3 Valleys but less well known!

Pool, sauna steam room, heated boot room and underground parking with direct lift access.

Please note that the spa (pool, sauna and steam room) is only open in the winter season.

Absolutely perfect location for ski to door

Amazing views over the slopes, sunny aspect balcony. Large spacious accommodation well equipped and warm. Morillon is very quiet not many restaurants bars or shops but perfect if you prefer the quiet life and just skiing.

Skiing in Morillon

We ( 4 adults, 60+) skied in Morillon for the week commencing 4th February 2017. We have stayed 3 times in Morillon and this, it has to be said, was the best accommodation yet. Despite the lack of sun and iffy snow we still had a great week. The views from the apartment were fab and snow permitting you can ski nearly back to the boot room. The apartment was spacious and the high ceilings in the lounge area made the living space lovely and bright. However the bedrooms all had a skylight window in the ceilings which of course you could work out from the photo. Well equipped kitchen, 2 separate toilets and plenty of comfy seating in the lounge which many apartments fall short of. Wifi was fantastic in all rooms too.

The information Simon gave about the apartment and area was very informative, although there are now 3 (not 2) restaurants at Les Esserts and the pub which does food too. The Igloo up at the next station (fantastic for lunches) also does evening meals Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They take you up there and bring you back, not sure of the price though. Simon was most helpful and responded really quickly to any questions we raised beforehand and while we were there.

We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and Morillon Les Esserts.

Stunning property. Everything was perfect and just as described. We will be back.

Having stayed in Morillon for 5 years, this really is the pick of accommodation in 1100. Fantastically well located with ski in & out (25yd walk up a few stairs on way out)

Lift , Garage all welcome bonuses along with the facilities in the liesure area downstairs. Directly opposite the best pub in Morillon serving fantastic food & great craik.

Negatives , I'm struggling. It really was above expectation.

Warm, clean and well fitted out this place really added to what was a fantastic tactic family holiday.

Beautiful Apartment Metres From The Slopes

Just returned from a week skiing at this stunning spacious apartment. It is massive...... The apartment is well equipped with 3 good sized bedrooms, 3 showers and 2 toilets. The view from the lounge/dining area is stunning and it also has a large balcony. Simon was very helpful during the booking process and was also very knowledgeable of the local area and gave us advice regarding transfers etc.

We loved Morillon 1100, is has a well equipped supermarket, Bakery, Handful of restaurants and a lovely pub opposite the apartment which is all we require for a family ski holiday. We loved the Grand Massif Ski area, it was empty, Flaine is 3 lifts away if you want to head over there for some stunning views of Mont Blanc but we love the long blue runs down towards Les Carroz and Morillon.

We will be returning next year.

Stunning apartment

Cosy apartment fantastic views of the Sairon blue slope..ski in ski out location, good choice of slopes plenty for everyone of all abilities.

The apartment is very comfortable 3double bedrooms nice lounge very well equipped kitchen..duvets and pillows are provided but you need to either bring your own linen and towels or rent from the agency. There is a nice big ski room. There are numerous ski hire shops, a couple of restaurants and bars and a well stocked supermarket close by ..approx 5 mins walk away. There is also a nice bakery on site.. The resort is part of the grand massif and is mainly served by chair lifts.. We have rented this apartment 2 times and will definitely return.

Great location

We stayed in this apartment with our sons and their partners and had a fabulous weeks holiday. The apartment is in the Centre of the resort and very close to ski lift, supermarket, resataurant and ski shops. It gave us great access to linked skiing. the apartment is well equipped and we enjoyed evenings cooking in as well as eating out. it is spacious, warm and everything you need for the stay is available. We would highly recommend this apartment for families and gropus of friends, Simon was really helpful and gave us lots of information. definitely one of our best holidays skiing
