Apartment in Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands - Located In The Harbour Area, Beside The Old Town, Within 5 Minutes Walk Of Everything You Will Need

The apartment is located in the harbor area close to the old town. It has free internet access. It looks out into the bay. The best restaurants and bars are all close by but not so close that you will hear noise from them at night. There is a children's playground just around the corner. There is also a boules court, football pitch and basketball court close by. It is a ten minute drive to the local golf course. All water sport facilities are close by. As are all the amenities that you will need including supermarkets, ATM and the local bus station which will give you access to the rest of the island if you have time to explore.

Perfect location and great value

This apartment is much better than the photos portray. Plenty of room for a family of 5 and kitted out for everything you need. The location was ideal, only a stroll of a few minutes and we were in the main area for restaurants, shops and super rooftop cocktail bars. The harbour was a couple minutes in the other direction for a trip to Lanzarote, Ilsa De la Lobos or just to watch the fish around the boats. Great diving centre 10 minutes walk away and a supermarket nearby. We loved it so much we're looking into returning next Summer. We don't usually go back to place but Fuetaventura is great, Corralejo is so mellow a surfy and the apartment is in a perfect location and great value. Thank you Brigid for letting us use you great property. The Whittleys.

Corralejo holiday

A 'home from home' in this well equips apartment. Great location which was near our favourite bars and restaurants in the 'old town' area of Corralejo. We stayed for 4 weeks and this time passed by vey quickly. We hired a car and parking was no problem.

EXCELLENT

Excellent apartment,very spacious upper floor en suite bedroom.Terrace also big, complete with sun loungers and great views over the bay and out to Lobos.

Lots of room downstairs in both bedrooms with plenty cupboard space.

Well equipped kitchen area with everything you need from crockery,kitchen utensils to sandwich maker,microwave etc.

Very clean and comfortable throughout.

Close to seafront and all the attractions of the Old Town yet no problems with noise.

Would highly recommend this property.

The apartment was as described by Briget and she also provided an excellent guide to all the local attractions including bars/restaurants etc with some very good recommendations. The location was ideal, walking distance to everything including shops and the all important beach.

The apartment itself was clean and tidy and well laid out for a family with the main bedroom being upstairs. It was also very well equipped. The terrace was very spacious and had sun for the majority of the day.

The only downside I can think of was there was no pool although being located so close to the beach we didn't really miss it. I would recommend this apartment to anybody especially families in need of 3 bedrooms. We had a great holiday and will be returning again in the future.

Better than it said on the tin

I have given this a 4 star due to the ceiling fans, It was scorching when we were there and the fans didn't circulate much air, In all other respects the apartment was immaculate, great location and Brigid was very accommodating to our requests (which were many). The facilities provided were excellent. I cannot fault this apartment. I would like to try so others won't book !!!!

I would recommend Domenicas tapas bar , La Taberna, Agua and El Sombero.

There is a lot of water sports in the area including kite surfing, sailboarding, surfing, and diving.

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is less that a minutes walk from the seashore. There is a lovely beach less than five minutes walk. It is a child friendly beach and when the tide is in the bigger children and adults jump off the end of the pier and swim to the beach. It is surrounded by nice restaurants. If you prefer a quieter place. There are many beaches within walking distance. The famous flag beach is approximately 40 mins walk, or a short drive/bus ride away.

Travel:

Fuerteventura Airport is 35 kms away. Taxis are available at the airport, as is a bus transfer service to Corralejo and car hire services. It is a 35 minute drive. There is a very good bus service on the island and it is a good way to explore. The ferry to Lanzorate is in the harbor, a few minutes walk away.

Distances:

Walking - nearest shops and bars 2 mins. Corralejo center and harbor 5 minute walk. Baku Aquapark and bowling 15 mins. Oasis Park (Safari Park) approx. 1 hr drive.

Further Details:

Banks, supermarkets, doctors, police, etc. all available in Corralejo and most people in businesses in Corralejo can speak English.

Change over day is flexible. The apartment may not be ready until 3pm the day you arrive if other guests are leaving that day. It may be necessary to vacate the apartment at 10 am if I have visitors arriving the day you are leaving.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is in a quiet private residential apartment block. We have never had any security problems but as a precaution there are lockable shutters on all accessible windows and on the terrace doors. Outside: There is a large private terrace upstairs. It has a barbecue and dining area for six people. It is a sheltered sun trap and has sun loungers. There is also a lovely view of the bay. Utility Room: Washing machine. Iron board and iron. Cupboard with broom, hoover, mop etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels changed weekly, or by arrangement. Towels for use within the apartment are supplied but not beach towels.
