The upstairs communal area has stunning views of the old town harbour and terraced area for sunbathing. Enjoy a swim or just cool off in our communal swimming pool .The apartment is one of the largest on the complex and is situated on the swimming pool level set back so it is very secluded perfect for romantic break, which makes it very popular with couples our private terrace & decking, perfect for sunbathing, There is a gateway for easy access to steps to harbour.The apartment is 2 minutes walk from nearest supermarket and bars, shops and restaurants,a hairdressers and English butcher, most bars do take aways. The close proximity to all amenities offer a fantastic holiday destination.

My husband and I run a family business in electronics .

We live in Dublin with our son, and 2 cats.

We have always loved to travel, and have had the opportunity to see many wonderful places, But we always return to Lanzarote.

We have been coming to Lanzarote for the past 20 years.

My daughter got married here in 2004, we had over 100 family and friends attend, and all had a wonderful time.

Over the years we have made many good friends here ,meeting up with them as often as we can.

We had always toyed with the idea of owning a place here ,but it was not until 2006 when we discovered this apartment, perfect location to harbour, and wonderful sea views, then we decided Yes this is the place for us,

The Old Town of Puerto Del Carmen has always held a special appeal to us, with its fine restaurants and bars,

there is a great charm about this part of the Island.

What makes this apartment unique

We feel we have the best of both worlds, peace and quite to relax ,and as we both love music lots of night life and entertainment if we want it.

We have tried to make our apartment a home from home, and we hope all our

guests will get as much enjoyment from it as we do and have a brilliant holiday.

had a fantastic holiday in your apt, it was very clean and wonderfully equipped with all the necessities and little extras tea / coffee which made us feel very welcome . The air conditioning was quick to cool the apartment and a godsend after a hot walk back from the beach! We loved swimming with the fish at nearby playa chica.

9 times to lanzarote and 3 times to tenerife and your apt was the best we have stayed in. The location perfect, great size apt and spotlessly clean, all we needed for the perfect holiday. Extremely comfortable beds. The air-con and fans were great, when it hit over 41 degrees. We're already planning to return next year

If you love fishing there is no better place to fish take yourself out to one of the many peaceful spots along the cliffs, whether you enjoy fishing or trying the superb fish restaurants in the harbour, the local fish is highly recommended.


For holiday makers who enjoy walking there are many fabulous walks to puerto calero and matagorda with amazing sea view walks that have been recently constructed.

Water sports.

All extreme watersports are within minutes of apartment on lovely beach of playa chica scuba diving, jet skis, paragliding, water skiing, ringos, bannana boats, pedalos, boat trips to fuerteventura, submarine safaries are all accessible from old town harbour, minutes away. So it is fun for everyone.

Cycling .

Bikes can be hired per week which is another great way to get around the Island.


Our local beautiful little beach, Playa Chica is perfect for snorkelling water sports, is about 10 minutes walk away. Playa Grande with its beautiful stretches of clear white sands, is about 15 minutes walk away. Walk along the beach front from Puerto Del Carmen to Matagorda. The old town harbour is 5 minutes walk away where you can choose to scuba dive or submarine safari. Walk along cliff top walks to Puerto Calero "spectacular views," get water taxi back.


Arrecife airport is 15 minutes drive away. Car hire not essential, being so close to all the amenities, the bus service runs from the top of old town to most parts of Island and is very frequent, local taxis are very cheap, if you do wish to explore the island there are lots of organised trips available.


A 10 /15 minute walk brings you to the shopping centre called Biosfera plaza, where you will find several fashion shops including Zara , Bench, with bars and restaurants and play area for children. The pretty marina of Puerto Calero is nearby, which you can reach by water taxi from harbour. The famous Timanfaya National Park, fire mountains, caves and James Del Agua with its lagoon, and Tequise market and many more attractions are all within a short drive away.

Our apartment is 2 minutes walk from Montana Tropical centre ,There you will receive a warm welcome from Larry Emily & family in the Crafty Cow. Say hello to Sharon & Co in the Highlander bar, eat delicious food in Mario, s italian restruarent and Taylor,s Bar .Apartment is with-in walking distance of the very popular Irish Harbour Bar . Brendan Behan cheapest for drinks on the island so Mick says, Spar supermarket 2 mins away for all your holiday needs. If you like to work out on holidays there is a gym not 5 minutes away. Bank and cash points 5 min walk .

The capital Arrecife is a 15 min bus ride away, and has plenty of shops and bars restaurants and beautiful walks along the beach. If you like to experience some more of the Canary islands take a boat trip from harbour across to Fuerteventura or lobos, it is advisable that you have your own insurance and EHIC card for medical care. The owners are not responsible for injury, loss or damaged to persons or belongings in the apartment or complex.

There is resident car parking at front of complex, for those who have car hire. It is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment. We now accept payment via PayPal. Complex south facing ,so sun all day long. Outside: Our apartment has its own large secluded private terrace and decking area, perfect for relaxing on a sun bed, and soaking up the sun all day long . Table chairs & parasol for eating out-side while enjoying the lovely sea view. The swimming pool is a communal one, but most of the time it is never crowed, so your morning swim can be peaceful and relaxing. The communal top terrace has fantastic sea view of old town harbour, there are also sun beds for you to relax and sun bath there if you choose. Utility Room: There is a shared industrial washing machine and tumble dyer on complex for your use free of charge. Iron & Ironing board in apartment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: A weekly maid service is included in price with " fresh clean bed linen/towels" supplied, Beach towels provided, extra mid- week clean can be provided for a small fee, please ask our house-keeper. Other: The apartment benefits from air-con a must in the hot weather and heats it if, it gets a little cooler in the winter months. The large patio area with its arrangement of flower pots and lighting perfect for a relaxing evening.

Fabulous apartment

I'm so glad we chose to stay at this apartment. It was perfect.

The living room has a comfy sofa with a fan above to keep you cool. There's a good size tv, a music system and literally hundreds of cd's and DVDs. It was so nice having music on in the background when inside or sitting on the terrace.

The kitchen area is small but has absolutely everything you would need to prepare food.

We ate out most of the time but the hob and microwave were enough for our needs.

In the bedroom are two very comfortable beds with a fan above. There is ample storage space and bedside lamps which made it easy to read in bed in the evenings.

The spacious bathroom has a really good shower with plenty of hot water.

The apartment was very clean on arrival and there was milk and a bottle of water in the fridge - thank you.

Best of all is the little patio and decking outside.

It's so nice eating breakfast outside in the morning then enjoying a nice glass of wine or beer in the evening.

The decking area is a real sun trap and when you get too hot, the pool is just a few seconds walk away. It's a fair size and was never crowded.

There are so many thoughtful extras as well such as beach towels, sun hats and reusable shopping bags.

The other residents we met were all very friendly.

The complex next door has a good choice of eating places and a spar .

There is a larger HiperDino supermarket just over 5 minutes walk away.

If you enjoy walking, as we do, you can walk into Puerto Calero (40 mins) or you can walk even further to Playa Quemada (1 hour 40 mins).

We took a trip in a (yellow) submarine in Puerto Calero with submarine safaris. It takes you 30 metres under the water and you get to see a completely different world with hundreds of fish and a shipwreck. Worth doing this if you fancy trying something a little different.

We had a fabulous time staying at this apartment.

I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future.

Lovely apartment great value for money

Really nice apartment very clean and absolutely every thing you could need for a holiday. It feels very safe and the other guests in the complex were friendly and respectful of other guests. We spent 13 nights here and we're very fortunate with the weather. The outside patio area was great for breakfast every morning. Sun is on the patio for most of the day. The pool was too cold for me but it is January. There are some great places to eat nearbye from pub grub in The Tapas Tree and Spotted cow in the complex next door and really good restaurants in the Old town and on the strip down town. Antica trattoria very good Italian food and Emma Cantina for excellent Mexican food. The only caution I would add is if you have walking difficulties this is not an ideal place to come. My wife really struggled and we needed a car to go into the village. There are around 200 steps down to the harbour many without hand rails. It was our first visit to this area and we didn't realise it was so hilly.

Perfect relaxing week in the sun

We were lucky with the weather and had a much needed relaxing week in the sun. The apartment was lovely and clean, well equipped kitchen and great terrace for sunbathing and eating al fresco, lovely garden area and view of the sea. Pool was lovely and usually empty although pretty cold! We loved Mario's - thanks for the recommendation Jan and thanks for coming to check we'd settled in alright. All in all a great break and lovely apartment.

5 star Apartment and Location

Ann and Michaels apartment is excellent, we have been coming to Lanzarote for 30 years and this is the best location and accommodation we have stayed in, from air conditioning, British and sky tv, and the cooking equipment that are provided is home from home, we were very comfortable for the 6 weeks that we stayed, the apartment is spotless for your arrival with plenty of towels, the housekeeper comes once a week with clean linen and towels and it is properly cleaned, thank you Jan, any problem Jan sorts out promptly,

The location of the apartment is fabulous, we love the old town of Puerto del Carmen, it still feels like the fishing village it once was, in 2 minutes you have a supermarket, Marion the Italian restaurant, tapas bar, Crafty Cow, sports bar with excellent Sunday lunch then music in the afternoon Jazz, fantastic, you walk down a number of steps and you are at the harbour, all the restaurants are very good, actually when our daughter came with her family at half term they were in the Bahia fish restaurant, guess who was there, the Irish president, she had her photo taken with him, just thought I would drop that in, to pick the best restaurant I couldn't as they are all excellent, all in all we had a fabulous stay so much we have booked another 6 weeks holiday next year, can't wait, thank you Ann and Michael,

The Best in the Block! Home from Home

We spent 6 wonderful weeks in Ann and Michael's apartment on this quiet, secure complex and would have no hesitation in highly recommending this property to anyone! Plus the weather was glorious! We especially liked the privacy the patio offered, being up some steps from the swimming pool level. And a sea view!

The property has everything you need for a self catering stay; plastic food boxes , beach towels, shopping bags and even sun hats! Although there is no built in oven, the halogen oven covered this perfectly for us as we use one at home.

The washing machine and tumble dryer provided for residents use, free of charge, was invaluable, as we were there for an extended period.

The property was very clean and well maintained with the bits and bobs that make a home, like pictures, ornaments, plants etc including Aloe Vera for treating sunburn for you to use. It was great to have some English TV channels as well.

We thought it was very well positioned in the quiet old town, as the marina is only a few minutes walk away, down lots of steps.' The Strip' where the main beach is, took us about 20 mins to walk.

We didn't hire a car but used the local bus service, which we thought was very good, every 20mins, weekdays, to Arrecife, the capital, where you get the connections for other parts of the island. We managed to see most of the island this way, with careful use of the timetables. The bus stops are about 10 mins walk away. The only trip we did was to the volcano area, Timanfaya, as the local buses did not serve that area. An amazing experience and well worth doing.

We didn't eat out much but can highly recommend The Highlander in the Montana Tropical commercial centre next to the apartment block. We had a late breakfast there a few times. Well cooked and presented with a decent mug of tea for 4 euros, in a beautiful setting.

We can also recommend The Crafty Cow right next door for their Sunday Roast and then a Jazz session from 3pm to 5pm with Colm Farrell and his band. Great voice and very talented musicians.

We did pay extra for WiFi, which was fast. It was good to be able to keep in touch with Home, the Bus Timetables, places to visit etc. The Cesar Manrique Foundation and Lagomar are amazing.

Thanks again for providing us with a great base from which to explore the beautiful island of Lanzarote. This was our first trip to the Canaries but it won't be our last, and this apartment will be our first port of call!
