This detached split level villa was built in 2010 and is furnished in a modern contemporary style. The villa is an ‘upside down’ arrangement built into the hillside to maximize the stunning rural views with the sea in the distance. There is a private pool and large ‘wrap around’ balcony to let you follow the sun or find a shady spot. Upstairs the patio doors retract into the walls creating a large open indoor/outdoor space designed to provide a stunning dining and relaxing space with views of the wooded valley and the sea beyond. The villa’s stunning pool is accessed from both levels and again offers views to the amazing countryside and distant coast.

A very comfortable villa in an unrivalled setting

We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in Cyprus Tree Villa. Diane provided brilliant directions from Corfu airport to the villa ( a car is a must) and from the moment we arrived we felt at home. The views are lovely and can be seen from almost anywhere in and around the villa. We most enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evening and watching the sun go down over the olive groves on the hillside. It's not far to the small but pretty resort of Arillas and also Afionis, where there are spectacular views of the coast and bays. And Sidari is also not far if you want a bit more life. We loved our stay here and miss it so much!

Haven in the trees

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this very well-appointed villa in a beautiful and quiet part of Corfu. The owners supply excellent directions and useful information on the area.

As it is on a hill-side overlooking a villa looking down to the sea, it does have steep slopes that would be difficult for someone with poor mobility. Also there is no wifi and poor mobile coverage but everything else for a superb holiday. A car is a necessity.

We have always holidayed in the North of Corfu and love the sandy beaches on the West coast. We bought the land after falling in love with the tranquil setting but also it's close proximity to some small resorts such as Arilas.

Coast/Beach:

The beautiful quiet sandy beach of Arillas is a 5 minute drive away with it selection of tavernas, bars and shops. This is a quiet resort, with a long sandy beach and crystal shallow waters ideal for families. With beautiful sunsets it is an ideal spot for evening walks or a delicious evening meal in one of the many locally run tavernas. The wide sandy bay of Agios Georgios (North) is 15 minutes away and idea for buckets and spades.

Travel:

The airport and ferry port is 50 minutes drive away and car hire is advisable.

Distances:

The nearest beach (Arillas) is 2 km away. Kavadades is 1 km away with a small supermarket, bakery and ‘grill room’. There is a taverna within a few minutes walk of the villa.

Further Details:

The area is a paradise for nature lovers with great flora and fauna and walking opportunities through the woods that immediately surround the villa.

We will be using the villa for several months a year with our twins and want to make it a home from home for both us and our guests. So we hope we have achieved this by building a real house with pool and also set within a short distance of the conveniences we need such as supermarkets, restaurants and the beach while still keeping a quiet setting.

  • Notes on accommodation: The property is very safe and would suit couples and families alike. Although there are stairs both inside and outside the property. No smoking within the villa. Equiped for babies/toddler including twins (2 travel cots, toys, double pushchair, door & stair gate). Outside: The villa stands within its own grounds, on a hillside of lemon and olive trees. A few houses close by but the aspect of the house makes it feel very secluded and is not overlooked. The 35 sqm pool has a selection of comfortable furniture. The bedroom patios each have small table and chairs. The main balcony has a dining table and chairs plus comfortable sofa and chairs for relaxing and taking in the views. There is private off street parking. With a few minutes walk is a Taverna and the village bakery. The local supermarket (which can supply all your needs) is a few minutes drive away (15 minutes walk). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided (not pool towels).
