LA CLUSAZ - CHALET BONNEVIE

You’ll love this chalet, with its stunning wraparound balcony and decking, peaceful position just 3km from the village, and breathtaking views across the valley to the mountains beyond. The village is half way between La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand, so you’re in a perfect position to enjoy everything the area has to offer, whatever the time of year. NOTE: cleaning, linen & towels included in the price.

WHAT MAKES CHALET BONNEVIE SO SPECIAL? Two families or a group of friends will find Chalet Bonnevie their ideal choice for a 4 star mountain holiday. Sleeping 8 people in 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms, there are also two stylish and spacious bathrooms. The comfortable living area with a large corner sofa, leather chairs and a large dining table is the perfect place to come together for cosy evenings around the log burner, but there’s another TV room downstairs for a choice of viewing.

The outside space comes into its own in the summer months, when you’ll want to eat outside on the huge sunny deck, or perhaps soak your cares away in the glorious hot tub.

About Clare & Eamonn Murphy

From the first time we skied in France we loved it, so much so that we decided to look for a place of our own as a base to ski. We first bought an apartment in Meribel in 1999, and enjoyed its skiing for 7 years with our three sons. We had a lovely time there, but it lacked a certain something and we were not exactly sure what. That's when we started to look for our own Chalet. We looked in many ski areas, until finally while driving around Annecy in 2006, we visited La Clusaz, and bingo! We fell in love the the area straight away, so friendly and so beautiful, everything we had wanted.

We viewed many chalets but none were what we had wanted. So we stayed in the area for a few days and we eventually found our Chalet Bonnevie.

Why Clare & Eamonn Murphy chose Aravis ski area

A lot of work was needed but we could see in our minds eye as to what we could do with it. Our plan was to give it character and elegance, be cosy, romantic, homely and very 'Mountainy'! And I think we have achieved that.

What makes this chalet unique

We have spent many wonderful times here with family and friends. It is to us the most beautiful place to be, the views are fantastic. One special experience is to be relaxing in the Jacuzzi at night, winter or summer, looking up at the stars with a drink in your hand.......magic! After a long day in the snow during winter or hillwalking and cycling during the summer, the comfortable beds are also so welcoming and restful. When they can, our sons still come back to ski with us or with their friends.
