Why pay more when this privately owned little gem has it all! This villa is our one and only, well loved and cared for holiday home.

Moraira is a very classy resort with lovely sandy beaches and our villa must be the best value in this beautiful area! So say our previous guests! The villa is well maintained and is clean, fresh, and safe. Despite the select and beautiful surroundings you will find that food, drink and shopping are all very good value.The villa is located in the 'real Spain', near the old fishing village of Moraira and historic port and town of Javea. This is the best part of the Spanish coast! The villa offers free WiFi & Smart TV. It is fully air-conditioned, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeping six people plus baby in the cot, in comfort. The master bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite shower room and French doors leading out to the sunny terrace and garden. The two twin bedrooms share a family bathroom with a shower and have access to the first floor terrace where you will enjoy superb views towards the mountains and the coast at Moraira. A cot and a highchair are available on request at no cost. The well fitted kitchen has oven, hob, dishwasher, washer, fridge freezer, microwave etc. Outside there is a gas BBQ and plenty of patio furniture and sunbeds. The lounge is comfortably furnished and has patio doors to the terrace and garden. There is a CD/DVD player plus Freeview TV. The villa is situated between Benitachell village and Moraira.

Moraira and Benitachell are not 'high rise' towns or cities but beautiful coastal / rural villages set in rolling green countryside and farm land including olive groves, orange groves and vineyards They are very near to the coast and near to inland mountains. In the mountains you will find many scenic rustic villages offering delicious Tapas and local wines. On a good day you can see the Island of Ibiza from the mountains near Los Pinos.

There are many Blue Flag sandy beaches and a multitude of rocky coves all within easy reach of the villa.

There are many shopping facilities just five minutes from the villa including five major supermarkets. Lidl, Aldi, Carrefour, Mercadona, Mas y Mas and Pepe La Salle.

Moraira is so beautiful. JULY and AUGUST are always popular times to holiday in Moraira, but there are on average 300 days of sunshine in this area every year. The weather is exceptionally beautiful, most of the year, making this villa the perfect place for a romantic getaway or an ideal place for Mum and Dad plus the pre-school little ones! You will find best value air fares, great weather, a fabulous area to enjoy and best of all not as busy as it is in the school holidays.

About the Owner

Hello, we are Sandra and Steve. We purchased this villa near Moraira in 2005 and have since enjoyed many months of holidays. We are both retired and once stayed in our holiday home for 15 months with only a couple of short breaks back to the UK, we love the area that much as have our previous guests and we are sure that you will love it too. Moraira really is a beautiful place to enjoy a memorable holiday.

We now have four lovely grand-children and now choose to spend more time in the UK.

We have fitted out the villa to a very good comfortable standard originally to please ourselves. All the furniture and beds are of a good quality as we wouldn't want our family, friends and guests to be uncomfortable. The villa is fully air-conditioned, which is absolutely essential for a comfortable, relaxing holiday in this area.

We try to accommodate the specific requirements of our guests so if you wish to discuss anything more, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Every year we personally deep clean the property and renew anything that is defective so that we maintain the villa in a modern and fresh condition.

We owe a lot of our success to our fantastic servicing and cleaning agent who keeps everything so clean and fresh for our guests.

Relaxing home from home

What a lovely house in a lovely resort. Very clean and comfortable and well positioned for the pool. The villa was fully equipped with the added bonus of providing towels.

We were able to venture out and visit many of the beaches in the area. Advisable to take snorkel gear as water is crystal clear.

It was nice to enjoy the views from the terrace in the evening, and we loved the bbq that the villa provided.

Very friendly service provided by Steve when we booked the holiday. Would definitely go back again.

Perfect for young families

One of the best villa's we have stayed in. The villa is perfect for families with small children with a secure enclosed garden and a clean and secure pool area. The villa is clean and extremely well equipped it's got everything you need.

A really lovely villa - highly recommended.

Sunnycasa was a spacious, comfortable and bright villa containing good quality furnishings and all the facilities we needed for a lovely holiday in the sun. It had been spotlessly cleaned ready for our arrival and within 10 minutes of unpacking we felt completely relaxed and ‘at home’.

The courtyard at the front of the villa caught the morning sunrise and was an ideal place for us to begin our day over a leisurely breakfast. The rear patio and garden enjoyed the sun all day long and was a perfect setting for our lunch or evening barbeque; being pleasantly enclosed, it allowed us to sunbathe in total privacy.

The urbanization was very quiet during our stay (mid-August 2015); most of the time we had the communal pool all to ourselves and certainly we were never once troubled by any noisy neighbours or barking dogs!

It was a delight to deal with the owners (Steve and Sandra) – communication was excellent and it seems that nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure that we enjoyed a stress-free holiday.

fantastic villa for families in lovely quiet area.

Fantastic villa in an area of Spain we already knew. Lovely quiet "urbanazation" with fantastic gated pool area steps away from the villa.

The villa is very well furnished with comfy beds and enough wardrobe space (and hangers) for a family of 5.

The villa is exactly as described with everything you need for a relaxed holiday in Spain. The air con was great for cooling the house down after at hot day on the beach. And the washing machine an excellent addition to a family holiday as washed as we went along.

With most meals we sat outside in the villas own private garden, the bbq is an added luxury we used often.

The villa is very well maintained and was spotless on arrival. The owner was aways promt to reply to emails etc and very informative of the surrounding area. We preferred moraira beach the javea as it's smaller and easier to watch the children on. Eating out was easy as both moiraira and javea only a few minutes drive away with plenty of choice of restaurants. Although quite often is was easier to eat out at lunch time and buy fresh huge prawns from the supermarket etc for a bbq in the garden.

Would definitely recommend this villa and hope to be back again another year.

Immaculate holiday home

We stayed at Sunnycasa from 23rd to 30th July. This is a lovely property with three bedrooms, two patio areas, large lounge and well-equipped kitchen with new dishwasher. Two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bath. Property was immaculately presented and very clean when we arrived. There is a wealth of information about the local area at the property. As it was so sunny we had all our meals outside in the large patio garden. Pretty flowers make this is a very pleasant place to relax. The pool is less than a minute's walk away and although it is shared it was very quiet when we were there. The pool area is kept very clean and tidy, and the showers are clean. English TV available at Sunnycasa was a real bonus as we were able to follow the Commonwealth Games being held in Glasgow. The local area offers lots of choices of beaches, either sandy or rocky. Our favourite beach was Cala Burraca. The rocky beaches are great for snorkelling. We had a fun day in Benidorm and also enjoyed the waterfalls at Algar. We found the owner very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Great Relaxing Break

Great experience from start to finish. Steve, the owner was very helpful and provided a very detailed amount of information on both the Villa and the surrounding areas. The Villa was very clean on arrival and had all the necessities for your stay, including a BBQ and sun loungers. The pool was a stone throw away and was very clean. The villa was situated in a quiet area which was just what we were looking for from the holiday. Very accessible to Moraira by car or taxi. Lovely place with some really nice restaurants and small bars. Not to touristy which was great.

Overall great holiday and I would definitely return.

Location

From the Owner

When we enquired about where to buy a villa in Spain we talked to many people who knew Spain intimately. They recommended Moraira. The area is not overdeveloped, there are no high rise skyscraper buildings and it really is pretty classy. It has the best coastline in Spain and the World Health Organisation says that this part of the Costa Blanca around Moraira is one of the three healthiest environments in the world in which to live! It is very convenient to travel to as we can choose between Alicante or Valencia airports for our flights and then there is roughly just a 1 hour drive to the villa on excellent, fast and safe motorways. Moraira and Javea have so many exclusive and child friendly restaurants, it's impossible to visit them all! You can't fail to be impressed and the prices are really good too, much better value than the UK! Service with a smile is the norm! We enjoy the best of both worlds at our villa - a lovely quiet place to stay, but only minutes to everything else that we need to make our stay that extra bit special. You too, will enjoy your stay without a doubt.

COAST & BEACHES;

Moraira, Moraira - beautiful, classy Moraira!

There are many Blue Flag beaches.

Moraira is 1.5 miles from the house. It has a lovely, clean, flat sandy beach with a fresh water stream running down to the sea and a freshwater lake behind the beach complete with ducks.The sea is calm and there is a manned lifeguard station. There is a nice café on the beach and free parking is nearby. Shops and restaurants in the town are conveniently close to the beach. There are stunning views to Calpe Rock and the headland at El Portet.

El Portet is 2.5 miles - this is our personal favourite. It is a narrow strip of sandy beach and has lovely calm sea to bathe in. Even better views from this beach. Calm sea, clean sand, many cafés and a free car park.

Javea - the Arenal is 6 miles - lovely area, like a nice UK resort.

Denia is a major town in this area and is very 'Spanish'. The sandy beaches stretch for miles and miles!

Cala Moraig; Is a very popular but interesting and different style of beach. This one is rocky with pools and sea caves. It will keep the children and beachcombers very busy!

Other great resorts are;

Calpe which is a large town with a very pleasant beach / promenade.

Altea Beach - visit Altea Hills to see where the Jet Set live!

Inland there are many interesting places to visit;

Jalon & the Jalon Valley - beautiful valley and rustic old town.

Alcalili, Parcent, Orba, Gata de Gorgos, Oliva - all have their own unique character.

El Castell de Guadalest - very scenic drive into the mountains. How on earth did they build that castle on the mountain top?

The Bernia mountain, Los Pinos, Benissa are other places to visit in this area.

BENIDORM!! is only 40 minutes down the A7 Toll Road. There are many activities to seek out here! Water parks Aqualandia, Mundamar, see the dolphins and sea lions. We recommend that you research on line to find what you would like to do in Benidorm.

TRAVEL:

Choose the best value flight for you on any day of the week! You can take flights to either Alicante or Valencia. Alicante is 50 minutes drive and Valencia is 70 minutes on fast Toll roads. We recommend that you hire a car, not only to drive to the villa, but also to enjoy a multitude of beautiful and interesting places to visit.

There is an airport transfer bus service direct to Benitachell or we can arrange the best value airport taxi transfers in the area for you. Please ask us for details.

Distances:

Benitachell - 1 mile Original Valencian Village.

Moraira - 2 miles. The best resort in Spain in our view!

Javea - 6 to 8 miles. There are 3 separate areas. The Port, The Old Town & The Arenal.

Altea - Jet set resort town.

Benidorm - 40 minutes down the Toll Rd.

Guadalest - 45 minute drive into mountains. Amazing place!

Jalon Valley - 30 minutes drive to a green lush valley. Beautiful place!

Denia - 45 minutes to this old large Spanish town with port and long sandy beaches.

Calpe and the Calpe Rock - old town and beaches, lovely.

Further Details:

There is a new Commercial Centre with Aldi and Mercadona supermarkets just a 10 minute walk or 2 minutes by car. Carrefour and Lidl are in an even newer Commercial Centre only 5 minutes by car. There are Banks within 1 mile.

Moraira and Javea have a wealth of superb, child friendly, international restaurants and of course many great Tapas Bars. We have a visitors book in the villa which is full of unedited comments from our previous guests. There is a wealth of information about places to eat or visit in this book and you will also find many tourist information booklets and brochures in the villa. There is a new Health Center in Moraira adjoining the main car park. This car park is free and only 200 metres from the beach! Rare indeed!

Be sure to take out appropriate travel insurance just in case! It is a myth that all medical treatment is free in Europe, the plastic card is often not enough! Phone numbers for emergency services are in our information pack in the villa. We have acquired a wealth of information about the local area, car hire, flights etc. So if we can help you....please just ask.

There is an airport transfer bus service direct to Benitachell or we can arrange the best value airport taxi transfers for you.

Our prices are for two guests. Any additional guests above 2 are charged at £5/person/night to cover our additional overheads.

The initial payment of 50% of the total balance includes a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total balance (or £150, whichever is the greater). This payment confirms your dates. The remaining 50% of the total balance is payable two calendar months before the start of the rental period. It is mandatory within our rental agreement that good and appropriate travel insurance is purchased for all members of your party immediately after your flights are booked.
Our full terms and conditions always prevail for all bookings.

Changeover Day:
Guests can arrive and depart on any day of the week.
Guests should plan to arrive at the villa after 4 p.m. and should depart by 10 a.m.
Please do not ask for leeway on these times as the time is needed by our service agents to prepare the villa for our guests.

Notes on prices:
To keep our prices competitive for any number of guests our quoted weekly prices are for two guests only.
The charge for each additional guest is £5 per day extra on top of the price quoted for two.
This just covers our additional overheads.

Winter sun holidays from November to March are a minimum of 28 days from only £175 per week.

The villa is fitted out to a high standard and it is clean and well maintained. All our previous guests rate the villa as excellent and often say "the best villa we have stayed in!" You will find all the comforts of home inclusive of air conditioning and Free WiFi Internet. We have full Air conditioning which is absolutely essential from May right through to early October. The TV is a LG Smart TV and provides all the UK Freeview channels as well as apps over WiFi. The villa is located in a quiet area yet only minutes from all the amenities and shopping that you need to make your holiday easy and carefree. The well maintained and very clean, swimming pool and smaller children's paddling pool sit among palm and olive trees in well maintained grassy gardens. Plenty of space to spread your (our) beach towels for sun bathing. Good plus points are the very convenient and clean, showers and toilets within the secure pool area. The surrounding gardens are luxuriant and mature giving an exotic feel to the whole place. Only minutes from the villa, there are several beautiful, clean, 'Blue Flag' beaches, with lifeguard stations and FREE parking very nearby. Moraira and Javea have plenty of excellent, multi-national, good value, child friendly restaurants. Service with a smile is the norm! Children are catered for and always welcome. Almost everyone speaks English.

This is a super location for MAY, JUNE, SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER when the weather is beautiful and the area is not so busy nor as hot as the main school holiday periods. All photographs taken in April 2015. Lovely quiet, safe area plus Safety & Security is a key feature of the villa! The front door is made of steel and is fitted with high security Euro locks. All the front windows are fitted with decorative steel bars. Doors and windows to the back of the house have lockable louver doors.The back garden has a 2 meter high fence or walls with no gate access.There is a Yale document safe in the villa. The pool area has a two meter high fence and the gate has key access for residents and guests only. Outside: To the front is a courtyard which is cool and shaded at the hottest time of the day. Parking (2cars) is to the front of the house. There are two secluded, sunny terraces, ground floor & first floor. Both have a South Westerly aspect so plenty of sun and sunsets. The private ground floor terrace has a shady portico and parasol so you can choose how much sun you want. This area can be accessed from the lounge area. It has a long dining table and chairs, with a parasol and seats six easily. A small sunny garden leads from the terrace. Small gas barbecue is sited here. There is plenty of patio furniture including 4 sun loungers and 2 reclining chairs. The first floor terrace has a bistro table and parasol with 4 chairs. There are stunning views towards the coast and the Sierra Bernia mountains. Just perfect for a romantic evening with that bottle of Rioja, or ice cold San Miguel while watching the sunset. Utility Room: Includes 'Belfast' type cleaner's sink and modern automatic washing machine. The hot water boiler is located here and there is an outside tap on the wall. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Quality bed-linen and Christy towels are included and changed every week. Colourful beach towels are provided to help save on your airline baggage allowance but please wash them for the next guests. The villa is expertly cleaned before every rental. Other: Very secure villa. All Bedrooms have mosquito blinds. Sun loungers and reclining patio chairs are available to use at the swimming pool area just to the front of the villa. Pool area is safely fenced with key access. Adult pool and paddling pool.
