Originally built in 1890 this beautiful historical building has been lovingly converted into two top quality apartments. Decorated in a contemporary and comfortable style, both apartments are fully air-conditioned with all mod-cons including under-floor heating for cooler months and Satellite TV in all en-suite bedrooms as well as the lounge. All-in-all it's a fabulous place in a fabulous location - less than a 2 minute stroll to Fisherman's beach and 40 seconds to the Square and numerous shops, restaurants, bars etc.

Beautiful apartment one of the nicest I have ever stayed in and I travel the world extensively. The owners have left nothing to chance, this product is magnificent and worth every penny.

Thank you to Ken for a warm welcome and goodbye, well bon voyage as we will be back time and again. I would highly recommend this place to any one looking for a higher end spec than the norm. Perfectly situated on the edge of busy but quiet enough to enjoy a good nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Congratulations to the owners they have got the perfect ingredients here. Highly recommend it.

Enjoyed our stay

This was our first visit to Portugal and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The owners of the property arranged for our private taxi transfers to and from the airport and the manager was at the apartment to meet us upon arrival even though we arrived quite late at night.

The apartment was lovely and very modern and clean, beds were comfortable and the fridge was stocked with essentials (including wine and beer) so that we didn't have to rush out in the morning to get groceries for breakfast.

Beach towels, light weight chairs and parasols were also made available to us which was great, since this property is a 5 minute walk from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants round about and supermarkets within walking distance.

It does get a little bit noisy at night since the place is right in the middle of the Old Town, but with the bedroom doors closed you couldn't really hear anything.

It would have been nice to have a spare set of bedding and some extra washing tablets for the washing machine and the dishwasher. One of our boys was sick in his bed which meant that we had to put his sheets through the washing machine and dryer before he could go back to his own bed

Overall, a really good experience, excellent customer service from both the owners and the manager and a nice location.

Activity and Interests


Less than a 2 minute stroll through the little streets to Fisherman's beach and 3 minutes stroll across the Square to Tunnel beach. Both are lovely sandy beaches. Oura beach is 1.5 km away.


Faro Airport is 25/30 minutes drive. A hire car is not a necessity as everything is on your doorstep. We can arrange Private Airport Transfers for a stress-free arrival and departure. .

Further Details:

With a Ticket Shop across the street, booking a trip, a tour or a show couldn't be easier. There is so much to do and see. ie: Jeep Safari, Champagne Cruise, Dolphin Watching, Big Game Fishing, Grotto and Inland Tours, Water Park, Zoo Marine the list is endless. I would highly recommend the boat trip to see the Dolphins which also takes in the amazing rock formations and caves along the coast.

  • Notes on accommodation: Although situated in the heart of the Old Town our property is on a quiet enough street. There is no need for a car but, should you hire one, there is a 24/7 car park nearby if you don't find parking on the street - which can be difficult in the summer months. We have a manager who speaks English and is on hand to help with whatever need may arise. Utility Room: Utility room has a washer/dryer, Iron and board, Sweeping brush etc. Other: This is a really stunning, contemporary apartment throughout.
