An area of unspoilt beauty, it is now one of Ireland's most popular tourist spots. The holiday home is set on an enclosed rolling garden providing breathtaking views of Ventry Harbour and the surrounding landscape. Our Ventry Holiday Home provides contemporary yet traditionally designed accommodation and is a comfortable modern residence, ideal for family holidays, relaxing breaks, activity breaks or as a getaway retreat. The house has magnificent views of Ventry Harbour and is ideally located with only a few short minutes walk to the lovely sandy Blue Flag Ventry beach and village where you will find a shop, local bar and restaurant. Ard na Carraige has been recently renovated and refurbished to a high standard to ensure utmost comfort. The house is fully equipped with all modern conveniences as well as large rolling front garden and decked patio.

Ventry's Blue Flag Beach is less than a few minutes away. It is an area of unspoilt beauty. The beaches in Ventry and Dingle provides surfers with the best learning waves and most of all the safest waters for beginners, and of course the more advanced surfers will certainly have selection of surfing beaches to choose from. There are many surf schools operating in the Dingle should you require lessons.


Situated in the heart of West Kerry, Ventry is just 4 miles (7km) west of Dingle. Ard na Carraige is just a 2 minute walk from Ventry Village. Directions: From Tralee take the N86 road to Dingle. On entering Dingle, take the first left at the second roundabout and follow the R559 to Ventry. On entering Ventry turn right, proceed up the hill past the pub and post office to a Y junction, turn right. Ard na Carraige is the 5th house on the left.


Ventry Village is a two minute walk and Dingle is 7km away.

House is normally let on a Saturday to Saturday basis, except by special arrangement.

  • Notes on accommodation: Ard na Carraige has been recently renovated and refurbished to a high standard to ensure utmost comfort. The house is fully equipped with all modern conveniences as well as large rolling front garden and decked patio with table and chairs, ideal for summer barbecues. The maximum number of persons to accommodate this property is 6 and this must not be exceeded without permission. Pets with the exception of guide dogs are not permitted in the property. A booking deposit of 150 euro is required to secure your booking. Heating and electricity are included in the rental cost, however, please note there is an extra charge of €35 a week to cover heating costs in Winter months. Outside: Large gated enclosed rolling garden with private parking. Decked patio which outdoor table and sun chairs, ideal for summer bbq's. Utility Room: Utility room has a washing machine, ironing board, Iron, tumble dryer, and storage press for jackets, etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The house will have a full supply of linen & towels. A travel cot/crib and high chair are also available if required.
