Superb apartments in the harbour, with a host of restaurants and bars close by to suit all tastes. Situated within marina and harbour area. Gran Canaria sports several magnificent golf courses, the closest of which, Anfi Tauro, is a couple of miles from Puerto de Mogan and has a 9 and 18 hole course together with a driving range and practice greens. Swimming pool with children's pool and two large jacuzzis within harbour area. The beautiful sandy beach is less than 5 minutes stroll away and offers safe swimming. Sunbeds and parasols are for hire, together with pedalos and canoes. The promenade has a variety of different restaurants, bars and shops.

About The Owner
The owner, Liam Dennehy, originally from Cork, has been resident in Puerto de Mogan for 25 years and owns Dennehys Marina Bar, one of the largest restaurants in Puerto de Mogan, fronting onto the marina and offering a wide range of food and drink, including Guinness on draught. A one minute walk from your apartment, but it might take you longer to stumble back!

Puerto de Mogan is set on the South-West side of the island, which enjoys the best of the island's climate. The resort is ideal for those who enjoy a quieter, relaxing holiday, lacking the discos and karaoke bars found in the busier centres.

just what we wanted
Just back from a week in property 17/2 in the marina (last week in October 2014). Spotless apartment with daily cleaning service, ideal location on west side of the marina overlooking the boatyard. Large and well equipped roof terrace with sun from late morning to fantastic sunset. Minutes stroll to beach, shops and restaurants and friendly and very clean pool bar close by. Tried to book again for same period next year but already booked. Competitive taxi shuttle organised by Billy, even on the bank holiday.
The apartment we were initially offered was well away from the marina & beach areas, in fact closer to the commercial part of the town anything else. Although clean and in good order, we'd expect to find this style of apartment in a city centre, not a beach resort, We immediately asked to be moved to another apartment, which was reluctantly granted. The second was nicer and in a better location but still nowhere as nice as the apartment depicted in the website's photos. The daily cleaning service was good so no complaints on that. We would consider going back to an apartment provided by Dennehy's but we would want to be much more specific as to which apartment we were getting.
Whilst the apartment itself was fine we found we were not welcome by those around us as it is in a residential block and holiday lettings not permitted. Bedding was not changed nor apartment cleaned during our two week stay. No obvious safety at the pool for children. Apartment high on a hill and car rental most desirable although no available parking at complex. Nice balcony and lovely views.

Activity and Interests
The beautiful sandy beach is less than 5 minutes stroll away and offers safe swimming. Sunbeds and parasols are for hire, together with pedalos and canoes. The promenade has a variety of different restaurants, bars and shops.
Las Palmas Airport is about 40 minutes drive away, and you can either pick up a taxi there or hire a car. Alternatively, we can arrange private car pick-up for you, please ask for details.
There are regular daily ferry services to Puerto Rico, one of the largest resorts on the island which takes about 40 minutes.
There are three supermarkets in Mogan, the nearest being about 100 yards away in the marina. There are also many other shops to cater for holidaymakers, and there is a huge market every Friday.
