Welcome to apartment 106 in the rustic Old Town of Puerto del Carmen. Situated in the quiet complex of Portonova, the apartment takes in breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean with Fuerteventura in the distance and Puerto Del Carmen's old harbour in the foreground. The well-established complex, with secure front gates, is host to both holiday-makers and long-term residents who have full use of comfortable sunbeds, refreshing swimming pool, and pool table. Immediate amenities such as a supermarket, restaurants, car hire company are all within 100 metres of the apartment. When venturing further, and walking is just too strenuous for your relaxing holiday,taxis are consistent and are surprisingly cheap. A trip to the new town will cost around 3 euros.

Love the area of Lanzarote for its character and the Old town for its charm and good food. The local artist Cesar Manrique has really helped Lanzarote keeps its Canarian heritage.

Matresses very old, back problem after sleeping, wifi not in the house but outside and bad connection.
Landlord difficult to reach and never seen, problem with electricity in the evening, had to call a neibourghs for help and had to put off electricity.
Need some fixing.
We had an enjoyable week away before the madness of Christmas. The apartment is in a nice quiet area, that is just a short walk from bars and restaurants. The bus stop is only a 5 minute walk if you want to go further a field. The apartment itself was sufficient for our stay, needs a bit of redecoration and updating a little but it didn't affect our stay. We had a great holiday.
The description and photos of the apartment are spot on and Cian was great to deal with - quick to reply to emails and very informative and helpful. The apartment was very clean with beds made up and plenty of towels. There is a great view from the balcony and living room overlooking the sea as well as the communal pool. Because the apartments are privately owned there is no reception or bar so it is very quiet and there were always loungers and chairs available by the lovely clean blue pool. It was a 2 minute walk down to the harbour which is very attractive and full of restaurants (combined tapas costing 7 Euros per person or of course more expensive restaurants too, all overlooking the sea) and is also very near to supermarkets and shops as well as bus stops for organised tours and public bus services. A slightly longer walk (10 mins) takes you to the beaches and Strip. Would totally recommend this for a couple or two people but not really for lively teenagers wanting entertainment. Had a lovely time. The complex and apartment are very well located to Old Town. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We hired a car to see the island and were a 10 minute drive from the golf course
