Welcome to apartment 106 in the rustic Old Town of Puerto del Carmen. Situated in the quiet complex of Portonova, the apartment takes in breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean with Fuerteventura in the distance and Puerto Del Carmen's old harbour in the foreground. The well-established complex, with secure front gates, is host to both holiday-makers and long-term residents who have full use of comfortable sunbeds, and refreshing swimming pool. Immediate amenities such as a supermarket, restaurants, car hire company are all within 100 metres of the apartment. When venturing further, and walking is just too strenuous for your relaxing holiday,taxis are consistent and are surprisingly cheap. A trip to the new town will cost around 3 euros. The apartment now has its own direct internet connection with wifi, and tv stations such as BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and RTE

Perfect apartment!

Great apartment, recently refurbished, lovely view, close to everything you need. If there were to be any improvements I'd say put in Air Con and change the bath to a shower. Shower that's in is powerful but bath is lookin old. Had a lovely weeks stay here, weather has been amazing :-)

Lovely apartment near old harbour, in central but quiet area of Puerto del Carmen

We had a lovely stay in Cian's apartment. It was situated perfectly in the old harbour of Puerto del Carmen, but away from the big (and noisy) crowds of tourists. The apartment is simple, but everything you need is there. It maybe needed a little TLC, about which we informed the owner - who was open to and grateful for our remarks.

For us this was the perfect place from which to discover Lanzarote. And somehow we always managed to find a parking space nearby the apartment. The availablity of the (shared) swimmingpool in the complex was very welcome on warm afternoons. And you don't need to bring any books, there's a lot in the apartment, as well as a bookswap near the swimming pool, and one at the cafe below the "Spar". Truly a place to come back to again!

Great views, great apartment, great time!

We stayed at this apartment last month and we had a lovely time there. Good sea view and comfortable surroundings inside and out make this a great spot particularly if you like the location in the old town of PDC as we do. Also a friendly atmosphere with nice people staying within the apartment complex, many who seem to come back each year – always a good sign! Sometimes you have special winged visitors in the form of curious ducks who pay the pool a call occasionally in the evenings!

All in all, a great holiday and thanks Cian, we‘ll be back!

A good base if your out and about close to old town with views of sea and pool

We have just returned from a weeks stay in this apartment on a gated hillside complex which has 2 separate access gates useful for finding parking space when complex busy. Quite a few steps to apartment in tiers so opportunity for a breather between if mobility restricted.

The apartment was well stocked with fridge, washing machine, toaster, microwave , tv....wifi.....and some books and DVDs which was a lovely touch. Bedroom had 2 single beds together with bedside lights and lots of shelves and hanging space.

Bathroom with sink, loo (and paper) washing machine and towels.Over bath Shower hot, able to cope with 2 quick showers before going cold which suited us and heated up again after a while.

Kitchen adequately stocked and when we arrived had washing up liquid, tea bags and tea towels which we appreciated, like home.. a selection of various glasses and mugs and 2 sets of plates and kitchen essentials. We didn't use the oven but everything worked.

Living area as in photos, Sofa bed clean, its seen better days but would probably be great for kids based on weight to sleep on. Loved seating on veranda which we used a lot, suspect this is a feature many visitors enjoy.

The flat was a little tired and worn in places but was clean and supplied everything needed at a realistic price, we would return again.

Make sure you bring mosquito spray, they didn't bother my husband but took every opportunity to bite me.

The owner replied to my emails and checked everything was ok on our arrival. Fantastic setting with restaurant, bars, shops and old town harbour and Broadwalk all close by, we even had a view of Xmas tree and Decs on the harbour wall.

This is the ideal apartment to relax in the sun while being close to quality and character-filled restaurants and bars. Provisions are easy to come by with a mini-market just 50metres away, a lager market which is a 200 metre walk, and a supermarket which is a 400 metre walk
