Overview

About the property

2 bedroom seaside house with direct access to sandy beach.

Awel y Mor is a seafront property with a first floor living room and balcony facing west over Cardigan Bay, perfect for alfresco dining or just watching the glorious sunsets. There are 2 sofas and a dining table and chairs for 4 plus a TV with DVD player and a CD/radio.

The well equipped upstairs kitchen has mountain views and comes complete with washing machine, microwave and fridge with a small freezer compartment as well as toaster, kettle etc.

The bathroom has a WC, washbasin and bath with shower over and is on the ground floor.

There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with the double bedroom overlooking the sea. Just imagine being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves and waking up to a wonderful sea view!

The bunk bedroom is perfect for little ones or adults alike as it has full size bunk beds.

The enclosed patio garden with outdoor furniture is accessed from the double bedroom and gives on to the pedestrian promenade and sandy beach, perfect for swimming, water sports and fishing. In the warmer months it may be possible to see dolphins and seals swimming nearby, a very special experience.

There is central heating throughout and off road parking. Wifi is also available. No smoking and no pets please. Next door is a similar property, Persawr y Mor, that is almost identical with the same wonderful views and layout but it has a walk in shower instead of a bath with shower over.

Why Anna Campion chose Tywyn

We bought this house because of its stunning seaside location and because there is so much to do in the area. It really is a beautiful part of Wales.

What makes this house unique

The sea views are wonderful and the sunsets often spectacular!

Perfect and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Brilliant customer service. We had all of the information we needed and experienced no problems. This is our first time visiting Wales with our two children aged 6 and 15 months. The views are absolutely beautiful and the house was very clean. We could hear the waves which were very relaxing and had lovely walks on the beach. We visited the local steam train the children loved it. We would love to come back again it was a perfect getaway!

A little bit of welsh magic

  • 4 of 5

Great property to stay-in, very clean, comfy flat with all the facilities including needed for a relaxing break. The flat is blessed with awesome sea views to while away time BUT get up and get out - there's lots do and see....

walk along the coast for coffee, catch the steam train or take the mainline along the coast to Barmouth, Harlech etc., walk in the shadow of Cadair Idris to visit waterfall valleys, tranquil woods and fascinating industrial sites.

See sunken forest on the beach, hear the sea and breathe the fresh air.

Tywyn is great, friendly small town with a great friendly local pub and Indian restaurant. There are other smart places to eat and is served by supermarkets and local businesses.

This is one of Wales's hidden gems - enjoy.

Thank you to Anna for our stay - we will definitely be back.

Perfect hideaway!

  • 5 of 5

When me & my partner entered the Apartment, we were totally blown away by the amazing sea view, from the Living room. It was truly breath-taking!!

The apartment itself was spacious, well maintained & clean & tidy.

Your only a 10 minute stroll into the main town of Tywyn & we found a lovely Restaurant & Wine bar, called Proper Gander.

This is a well situated property, as your not far from many other coastal attractions, which are easily reached by car.

Check out the many Steam railways en-route, whilst enjoying a Welsh ice-cream!
