The house is situated on the edge of a protected National park and still close to the buzz of the famous French Riviera coastline with it's lively villages and sandy beaches. The picturesque medieval Cote d'Azur village of Valbonne - famous for its Friday market - is just a 5 minutes drive away. The ground floor has a great open plan living space with a contemporary kitchen, separate TV room and two covered terraces both leading onto the garden. The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor. The sous-sol/basement has a second living room and 2 guestrooms and a separate bathroom. High speed internet/Wi-fi. The house has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Ideal for a superb family holiday to relax and enjoy the beautiful south of France.

About the Owner

We are a Dutch family and bought this fantastic house in 2004 from the original owners. We completely renovated the house while living there to make sure it all happened according to our taste and standards. The house was our permanent residence with our -then- 3 primary school children for over 7 years and we enjoyed every minute of it. Since 2011 this is our second home as work took us to another place. We love where we are now but we do miss the space, comfort and tranquility of our house and the beautiful light of the South of France. We like to go back as often as we can with our three - now - teenage children.

Fantastic exceedingly well equipped villa

We liked the villa (and the owners!) so much we stayed two years in a row and intend to stay again.

The house is extremely spacious and equipped with all mod cons, from the pool through to the tv room and wifi, air conditioning, BBQ and all kitchen appliances. Beautiful gardens, kids play area, hammock, boules, table tennis.... what more could you ask for?

The villa is also very near the local supermarket and boulangerie, and a ten minute drive to the shops and market in Valbonne.

A really great spot and the villa worked really well for a family of all ages.

Beautiful modern charming villa in green setting

Really enjoyed my stay at this lovely house in a very quiet and green setting. The house is decorated with a modern, clean, practical and friendly touch. The layout is very practical with lots of space, large rooms and plenty of bathrooms. I loved relaxing on the pool lounge chairs overlooking the pool and the mature olive trees. The covered lounge terrace is a cosy retreat to enjoy a glass of rose during warm summer evenings.

The location is very practical with a bakery, super market and petrol station right at the bottom of the hill. I also found a great running/mountain biking loop starting close to the house.

It is evident that owner has spend a lot of time ensuring that everything is present for a comfortable stay. The villa has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic villa for a great holiday

We enjoyed our holidays in this place for several years now and every time we are overwhelmed with the beauty and comfort of this villa. It has a beautiful and sunny garden with a large pool. The inventory of this villa is extremely complete. All you can think of is available to make your stay very pleasant.

The rooms are nice and tidy, and the bathrooms are well equipped.

It is a large house with a lot of rooms and bedrooms.

I can really recommend this house. You will have a wonderful time there.

A nice villa in Valbonne

We have been in Valbonne for nearly two weeks and stayed in this beautiful villa. We stayed in the villa together with another couple. We’ve spent most of the time at home, using the swimming pool, the beautiful garden and playing jeu the boule, table tennis, etc. As there are many good restaurants nearby, we nearly only left the house for having a delicious lunch.

Besides that we have also visited the villages Mougins and St. Paul de Vence. These villages are not far away from this villa, so very easy to visit in a couple of hours.

We were very glad that once a week the housecleaning took place. Also the gardener maintains the garden quietly once a week and the swimming pool was serviced every week. Now we have found this very nice place for a holiday in the Valbonne area we like to go back as soon as we have the possibility.

A fantastic place to relax with your family

We (family of 6 from Switzerland, 2 adults and children 17,15,13 and 11) had a fantastic time at this villa during the October holidays in 2014.

We loved the spacious lay out and the beautiful garden and the large pool. The children played outdoors all day. The kitchen and the bathrooms are modern and well equipped, there is something to do for everyone.

We look forward to come back to this beautiful place next year.

Special interest holidays:

Fabulous for hiking, cycling, tennis (club nearby), riding and some spectacular walks and picnics in the national parks. The domaine is situated on the border of a national park which you can enter directly opposite the entrance gate of the house itself.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach is 12 km away, at Villeneuve Loubet. Marina Bai des Anges, for boat rental and sailing classes is also around 12 km away. Cannes beaches are 16 km. Monaco 45 km. Wonderful seafood, seafront restaurants in Juan les Pins, Villeneuve Loubet, Antibes, Cannes and Cagnes sur Mer.

Travel:

Just 25 minutes from Nice Airport (second biggest airport in France). 1.15 hours from Toulon Airport. Nearest by train station: Antibes (15 minutes). Car hire highly recommended.

Distances:

At 500 metres (15 minutes walk) Carrefour Market (supermarket, also open Sunday morning), local bakery, restaurant/pizza take away, hair dressers, pharmacy. The historic village of Valbonne is just 5 minutes by car. Valbonne has many restaurants, shops and a well known weekly Friday morning market. Very close to Biot (5 minutes), Mougins (10 minutes), Antibes (15 minutes), Cannes (20 minutes), Nice (25 minutes). 10 minutes from the main motorway (A8). 1 hour drive to the Italian border.
