Notes on accommodation: To ensure that you get around and get the best out of your holiday, we suggest that you consider hiring a car. However, the villa is within easy walking distance of the Trip Advisor highly acclaimed Bambalina Restaurant, a well stocked supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and tapas bar / restaurants; so if you simply want to chill out and enjoy the attractions of the villa and your own private pool, a taxi service can be pre-booked for transfer from and to airport as well as trips to L'Ametlla de Mar or local restaurants. Highchair and / or cot available on request at no extra charge. Detailed directions from airport to Les Tres Calas will be emailed on confirmation of travel arrangements. We will be on hand to meet guests on arrival and will be available to provide any help or information required during the holiday. Outside: Private illuminated swimming pool. Purpose-built barbecue / el fresco kitchen area. Outside garden furniture includes six sun loungers and two reclining chairs. Table and 8 chairs provided for alfresco dining. Off-street car parking area for one car. Utility Room: Washing machine and sink Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels, hand towels and bed linen all included. The beds are all made up and ready and the villa is thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom before you arrive. Other: Al fresco dining on shaded terrace overlooking the pool. Amazing Villa

I can not say enough about this villa! It is amazing! Everything you need is there. There were 7 (3 adults and 4 kids) staying in villa and it was plenty big enough. There is air con in most rooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It was a perfect for the local shops/bars/cafes. The villa was spotless when we arrived.

We did a couple of 'big shops' from the big supermarket, which is a 5 minute drive away in the car, to stock up on bulky food but used the local bakery for bread and pastries every day (after calling at the cafe for a coffee!!)

Porta Ventura is 30 minutes away in the car and is well worth a ticket. As is the water park that is at La Pinada.

Love this place

We visited this villa on the recommendation of friends of ours as we were looking for a place that could fit two families with plenty of room, I can honestly say that I am so pleased I booked as it was more than spacious enough for what we needed. The villa is cleaned and maintained to a high standard, We were greeted by a lovely couple (Eammon and Ann) who were very helpful. The location of the villa is just perfect for a relaxing break but close enough to beaches, restaurants and bars for days/nights out. This place honestly deserves five stars as it has everything you could expect from a five star villa and I would definitely recommend.

The villa is spacious and well appointed. We were two families, and the layout of the villa worked very well. Anne and Eamonn were fantastic, from providing us with detailed directions to the villa (including toll information), to coming to the rescue with a foot pump when we were struggling to get our lilo for the beach inflated! They could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The villa is well located – a few restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and the lovely town of L’Ametlla de Mar a short taxi journey away. It was great to be able to stroll down to the local bakery for fresh pastries in the morning. The villa also puts you within good proximity of a number of beautiful beaches (just a 10 minute drive away). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and our only regret was that we only stayed for a week. Wish it had been longer!

one word, describes this place. Outstanding.

We came here for a week in March with our 4 children, it is such a beautiful place to stay, the accommodation is beautiful and well kept, and found everything hassle free to use. Felt at ease and really enjoyed our family holiday, the kids loved the fantastic pool as did we.

The beaches that are very close by, are absolutely spectacular, couldn't ask for more.

Very friendly service, and we cannot wait to book our holiday again very soon.

Highly recommend this stunning villa.

I booked this villa for a week in Febuary and the only downside is, that we didnt stay longer. This place is true haven and exceeded our expectations. The villa itself is well maintained and spotlessly clean inside and out. Very spacious and lovely decor throughout. The pool and garden area are stunning and well kept and pefect for relaxing, with built in bbq area and eating area.The kitchen is modern and easy to work in and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We really couldnt of asked for more. There is even free WIFI !! The location is pefect for a relaxing break, stunning views and not to far to travel to local ammenities. I would definetly recomend this villa and will certainly be booking to go again

Vacances de rêve dans une villa méditerranéenne plus que magnifique

Voici un petit commentaire en français qui aidera bien d’autres Français en quête du bonheur en vacances ! 

Tout d’abord un grand merci à Eamonn qui est plus que formidable. Serviable, attentionné, agréable sont autant de qualités qui le définissent... La villa…. Sublime et tellement bien agencée ! Rien ne manque, tout est parfait. Nous y étions à 2 familles avec enfants et nous disposions d’un espace suffisant. La piscine, qui fait le bonheur des enfants est elle aussi géniale et c’est un réel plaisir en complément des plages qui se trouvent à proximité. Des stations d’essence se trouvent à 5 mn de la Villa, ainsi qu’un grand supermarché. Et si besoin est plusieurs petits magasins dont une pharmacie se trouvent à côté de celle-ci. Nous avons été bien tristes de devoir partir et nos vacances dans cette villa resteront parmi les meilleurs souvenirs de vacances en famille et entre amis ! Merci encore à toi Eamonn

One of the greatest attractions of Les Tres Cales has to be its secluded, uncrowded Mediterranean beaches after which it takes its name – ‘The Three Coves’ they are truly beautiful and only a 5 min. drive from Villa Rhiw-Saeson. Their fine golden sands and clean shallow waters continue to captivate holiday makers who visit year after year. Five of these coves have been awarded Blue Flag Beach status as have four other small, uncrowded beaches within 5km from the villa.


A wide choice of flights to El Prat Barcelona Airport is provided by Aer Lingus, British Airways, bmibaby, EasyJet, Jet2 & Monarch, RyanAir and Vueling. RyanAir operates regular services to and from Reus International Airport, offering regular flights from Cork, Dublin, Glasgow/Prestwick, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands Liverpool, Luton and Stansted. Jet2 and Flythomascook also operate a range of services to Reus from several UK airports. RyanAir also offers a wide selection of flights from UK and Ireland to Girona Airport. Hiring a car offers a lot more flexibility to explore the treasures of southern Catalonia. We will provide you with suggestions for car hire. Travel time by car: Reus Airport to Les Tres Cales - approximately 35 minutes. El Prat Barcelona Airport - approx. 1hr 40 mins. Villa Rhiw-Saeson is approx 4km from the beautiful, unspoilt fishing village of L'Ametlla De Mar. Here you will experience authentic 'Catalan' life in the heart of the narrow winding streets of this typical Catalan village.

Here in L’Ametlla de Mar / Les Tres Calas you will discover a little bit of Spain as it used to be – sand, sea and sun minus the maze of tower blocks and without the throngs of tourists – an ideal location for a truly enjoyable family holiday. You will find lots of restaurants and bars, as well as supermarkets and wonderful small bakeries. For its size, L’Ametlla de Mar has a surprising array of quality shops and boutiques in addition to a large, new Mercadona supermarket with parking for over 200 cars. WEDNESDAY is our preferred changeover day during July and August. During these months, the villa is rented from Wednesday to Wednesday and for full weeks only i.e. 7 days, 14 days, 21 days etc. At all other times, we will endeavour to accommodate your travel plans where possible. The villa is available from 4pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
Notes on prices:
All prices are quoted in euro per week. Prices from April through to Sept include WIFI connection.
Long Term Winter Rent - (minimum rental period is 12 weeks). The rates quoted for Long Term Rent DO NOT include water charges OR electricity and heating costs.
