This property is a gem. It is situated in the old town with its Provencal atmosphere. The interior is modern with all home comforts and fantastic views. It consists of 2 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower and wash area. It has a separate toilet. It has a well equipped modern kitchen opening on to a lounge/dining room. The living area opens out to a balcony with panoramic views. It is on the second floor of the building with a lift.

I make the trip to Cannes 6 - 8 times a year. The weather is more reliable and its only a two hour flight. I love the lifestyle and the food. I like to play golf and there are plenty of courses within easy access.

Cannes Film Festival 2011: the apartment is even better than it looks in the photographs! The balcony faces South and East, so one can enjoy the spectacular views of the sea and port in sunshine for most of the day. The bedrooms having a properly functioning shower and basin on suite in each bedroom was much appreciated. Its less than 10minutes walk from the Palais, and 2 minutes from the delightful Old Town restaurants. Have stayed in many apartments in Cannes and this is definitely my favourite. Will definitely stay again should the opportunity arise. Sally UK.

Great Apartment, Stunning Views, Fabulous Location

Our family of 5 rented this apartment for 2 weeks in July 2015. Positioned in the historic old part of Cannes, the location is fabulous. It is a 2 minute walk to a series of beautiful public and private sandy beaches. There are multiple restaurants nearby, a boulangerie for your morning croissants just across the road from the back entrance to the apartment and a small supermarket very close by.

Cannes' famous Le Forville market (fruit, veg, fish, cheese, flowers, bric-à-brac etc) is only a 5 to 10 minute walk downhill through the historic streets, which was perfect for stocking up on good local food to cook at home or take on picnics.

The apartment itself is very clean, comfortable, air conditioned and was well furnished with everything we needed. We loved the balcony, which has uninterrupted stunning views to the harbour, old town and out to sea. There is plenty of room to relax on the balcony reading a book or just to sit and watch the world go by.

Apart from the beach and the shops, there is plenty to do in the area. On this trip we decided not to hire a car, but instead used the network of trains, buses and ferries to travel along the coast and inland to Monte Carlo (to visit the excellent aquarium and look at cool cars!), Grasse (to do a 2 hour perfume making workshop), St Paul de Vence, Nice, Renoir's house in Cagnes sur Mer, etc. The ferry port for day trips to St Tropez and the nearby islands and Cannes' main bus station are both within a 5 minute walk from the apartment and the train station is less than a 15 minutes away on foot.

Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cannes. We would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to return to it in the future.

I purchased this property after viewing 20 other properties in Nice, Valbonne, Grasse and Mandelieu. I could not resist the views and the Provencal atmosphere and narrow pretty streets in the area. Its close to everything without having to deal with the crowds and the noise. Its only 35 mins from Nice Airport, so it is easily accessible from all parts of Europe. Its a great base for sightseeing. There is so much beautiful scenery along the coast but also inland.

There is a range of private and public beaches between 2 -15 mins walk.


Car hire is not necessary unless you plan to travel to the surrounding countryside or to play golf or ski. The Nice Airport bus takes 30 mins and stops 3 - 4 mins walk from the apartment. If you wish to rent a car/scooter/bicycle for a day there is a car rental agency 3 mins walk from the property (Location Mistral).

The area has lots of quaint restaurants, shops and markets. The back entrance is less than 2 minutes walk from the beach. This property is only a couple of mins from Marche Forville which is open every morning except Mondays where one can buy a myriad of delacies. There is nothing nicer than having breakfast on the balcony and watching the world go by.
