A spacious apartment located in the granary, it has two storeys, and views over the valley.

There's a kitchen-dining room on the lower floor, and a bedroom with a parquet floor and bathroom on the upper one.

The total area is 56sq.m.

All the rooms have heating, air-conditioning, a television, hair-dryer, ceramic cooker, fridge, microwave oven, toaster, coffee machine, juicer, and cooking utensils (frying pans, pots, plates, glasses, cutlery, tablecloth etc.). The bed and bathroom linen is included, except for swimming-pool towels. There is a washing machine and iron available for our clients.

The entire complex has a free wi-fi Internet connection. All the apartments have a furnished terrace.

About The Owner

We are a family of five persons, my wife Montse and me. We have three children, Helena which is 21 years old studying Medicine in Barcelona, Ariadna 17 years old finishing the studies at secondary school and Saurabh 14 years old still at secondary school.

Since we have arrived in 2004 “El Nus de Pedra” is also our house, that means that we can offer a personal welcome, paying so much attention to detail and comfort. We can assist you in anything you need but to respect your complete peaceful privacy.

Every year we make accurate investments in order to improve our standard.

We like hiking and the nature since we were young and we love to provide clients with detailed information on special places and activities to enjoy during their stay.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2004

Why The Owner chose Girones

We bought our property in 2004 in order to start a new personal project. We were searching a House not far-away from Girona and we remember the day we have found “El Nus de Pedra” We have had the same feeling “this one is the house we are searching” This small valley and its environment have been preserved by years and still the main activity is agriculture. Some of our neighbours are still producing their own wine and we are planting again olives trees in order to produce olive oil.

What makes this apartment unique

The exceptional location guarantees a quite and peaceful athmosphere in an area of great natural and landscape interest.

Children are welcome at home. On the ground floor of the old house there is an area special for them. Outside there is a big garden with a playground area.

We are very well communicated as we are in the center of the Girona Province. There are two natural parks not far-away, just 35 minutes drive. The Volcanic area of la Garrotxa close to the Pirenees and “Els aiguamolls de l’Empordà” (wetlands).

You can also discover the gastronomy of Girona. This area is recognized as one of the best gastronomic regions in Spain. There are many reasonable restaurants very close or Michelin awarded stars restaurants.

Booking Notes:
30% deposit by bank transfer. The rest of payment by cash o credit card upon departure or arrival.

Changeover Day:
Guests can move into their apartments at 16:00 on the first day, and are asked to vacate it by 11:00 on their departure day.


Notes on prices:
Prices are (10%) taxes included with the exception of city tax which will be charged at 0,5 euros per person and day (children under 17 years old are excluded to pay this tax).
Pets allowed / 10 euros per day.

Notes on accommodation: Towels and linen are provided. We welcome adults and children. Near medieval villages in Girona and Costa Brava Beaches. We speak English, French and Spanish. The shared services are found on the ground floor of the farmhouse: a lounge with a fireplace and a projection screen, billiards, children's play room, library, and a tourist information room (maps, tourist brochures etc.). Everywhere in the complex has free Internet coverage (wi-fi). Outside: The part outside has an area of 40,000 square metres, with a swimming pool, barbecue zone, washing machine and iron for the exclusive use of clients, garden tables, swings, children's play area, and free bicycle service. This means that it is easy for visitors to get around from here to see the sights, though it is also just right for resting and enjoying the setting.
