Being the penthouse you are as isolated as you wish to be, with your own penthouse pool, huge terraces and beautiful views of the sea and the mountains. However the night life and beach life is only a few minutes away. There is in house security onsite. I know you will have a fantastic time and hope you will care for our home as much as if it were your own.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment blocks are only 3 storey and on the hillside so the surrounding area views are wonderful. Our penthouse is the only one with its own pool. the views from the wraparound terrace are marvelous and the sunsets spectacular.

Notes:
Penthouse situated in maintained gardens. Apartment has a walled terrace garden running around it. Own private unheated pool on terrace. BBQ and outdoor sink. Pool maintained weekly in season. Outdoor furniture includes loungers, sofa's, dinning tables. All towels, beach towels, tea towels and bed linen are included and changed weekly. The property will visited by staff at the beginning of your stay and then cleaned on your departure. Or where staying longer than 6 nights - the property will be cleaned once a week. You are expected to remove your own trash. Extra cleaning costs upon request.

Gorgeous, spacious and quiet

We enjoyed a week in the lovely penthouse in August 2017. The penthouse is big with the three bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. The largest room is stunning with the most beautiful bathroom and views. The smallest double bedroom is accessed through the main bedroom so we put our four children in those two rooms. Both those rooms had their own sliding doors out onto the wrap around terrace. We took the other bedroom which is across the corridor, overlooking the mountains and sea with our own balcony. We could sit in bed and look at the sea. The pool was fabulous and is a really decent size for a ‘plunge’ pool.

Getting there: Our iPhone satnav told us we had arrived some way before we had, so keep going and follow Janey’s instructions and you’ll find it (keep going way past the Birdie Club). We hired a car from Miami Cars and they were great. The only thing is if they ask you if you want to pay in euros or pounds opt for euros as they can give you any exchange rate. The lift key will take you all the way to the penthouse and we found a slight jiggle (slightly pull it out) got it to work first off.

The nearest beach is a short drive down the hill and for €5 the parking attendants will take your car and park it for you in the small car park, which is great as you don’t need to worry about finding parking spaces. We tried getting a taxi into town one night but had no luck, so I think this can be tricky in peak season, especially with six of us!

The supermarket is a short drive away and is in the big Canada shopping mall with places to eat and boutique shops. It was noticeable how much cheaper food and alcohol are to buy in the supermarkets than the UK.

Marbella town is just one exit away on the main road and I recommend the boat trip round to Puerto Banus one evening.

All in all the penthouse is gorgeous, spacious and comfortable and provided the perfect base to get around the region or simply to just chill!

Amazing!!

I loved staying here. It was beautiful, clean and felt like paradise. The views were also amazing. It was 20 minutes from the centre which wasn't a problem as taxi's were easy to get hold of but if you can rent a car that'll be best.

Beautifully presented apartment

A beautiful apartment on the hillside overlooking Marbella. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need, is very spacious with a lot of outside space and a lovely dip pool. A car is a necessity as there are no shops or restaurants nearby. Janey, the owner, provided all the information we needed and kept in touch with us prior to and on arrival at the apartment. We arrived a bit early and the housekeeping team were still finishing off but the lovely Theresa and her colleagues gave us a very warm welcome. If you need a quiet relaxing holiday this apartment is just what you need.

Amazing Home!

We were a little nervous about renting a home in Spain from the USA, but Janey opened the communication channels right from the start and any concern quickly subsided. Our family of five arrived in Malaga, rented a car and drove to the home where we stayed for 6 nights. We did not want to leave- the home is truly AMAZING! The terrace with its many seating and dining areas offers phenomenal views of the mountains and Med. The pool was a fantastic feature to have all to ourselves- perfect way to cool off in the summer heat. The entire home was clean and well decorated- you truly felt like you were a guest in someone's home- not staying in a rental. There is a full kitchen and large refrigerator (& freezer) which allows you to cook and eat at the unit vs going out in town. (Regarding groceries: we frequented the Supercor Express on A-7 toward Malaga; La Canada has a grocery store which is huge and another option- enter near the McDonald's and you'll find it). Each bedroom was comfortable and we all slept well with the air-conditioning and persianas. Again- we had a wonderful time and highly recommend Janey's home when in Marbella!

Fantastic location for a wonderful vacation!

My wife and I spent 10 days at the penthouse apartment and loved every moment of it.

The apartment has everything you could need and is furnished to a very high standard.

We found some excellent restaurants , the best of which was the Trocadero which is only a 5 minute drive away.

We look forward to staying in your apartment again in the future.

Location

Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

The famous Golden Mile beach is 10 minute walk or a few minutes by car from the Penthouse. Nikki's beach club is to your left and the Marbella beach club to your right on the main old Marbella Road. Loungers, massages, umbrellas are all available for hire as are water sports and activities at Fun beach.

Travel:

Malaga Airport is 30 minutes away by car. Car hire is recommended although there is a bus to marbella and taxis are plentiful.

Distances:

Marbella is 2 miles away, Puerto Banus 5 miles, Gibraltar, Ronda, Nerja caves, Granada are all an easy few hours drive. Cadiz and Seville are further and a return trip would take up a day.

Further Details:

Being Marbella, there are many restaurants to choose from in the old town and on the beach. Puerto Banus famous for its fabulous yachts, shopping and nightlife is 10 minutes away. The Rhonda is beautiful and historic - a winding steep road takes about 2 hours to navigate but is worth it. Best supermarket is at la Canada shopping mall which also has fashion shops, cinema and restaurants. This is literary 5 minutes by car from the Penthouse.
