Beautiful character villa set in 2300 square metres of landscaped gardens surrounded with many large palms and pines, with a large private pool set amongst lush lawns. Large outdoor Naya with dining table and chairs as well as a separate area with comfortable settee and armchairs overlooking the pool and gardens. Outdoor pool shower and barbecue area with charcoal barbecue and sink. The villa itself has 4 spacious double bedrooms, (2 with en-suite facilities), family bathroom, kitchen, lounge with separate dining area, indoor Naya with additional dining area and seating area with settee and armchairs. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning and also ceiling fans. The lounge is also air-conditioned. TV with all the FREESAT channels.

About Rosemarie Kounnou

I have been living in Javea for the last 6 years. My husband and I are both retired and love the relaxed way of life and the warmer weather. Our villa is located in a quiet area and is less than 10 minutes walk to the sea, with a local supermarket less than 5 minutes walk. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac makes it very secluded and assures you privacy and peaceful enjoyment of the spacious gardens and the private pool.It is approximately 100 Km from Alicante airport, and about 130 km from Valencia airport.

Why Rosemarie Kounnou chose Javea, Moraira and Denia Area

We fell in love with the villa at first sight, especially with the beautiful mature and secluded gardens, which affords us total privacy, whilst at the same time being close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Its easily accessible from both Alicante and Valencia airports.

The area is very green with many mature pines and palms.

What makes this villa unique

The villa is in a very quiet location, making a peaceful and tranquil place to live. Being the last house in a cul-de-sac means there are no traffic problems. Local restaurants and supermarkets are located within walking distance, whilst the Arenal with its many bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes in the car. The Arenal beach is very children friendly.

Outside: Large landscaped gardens with lawn areas surrounding a large private pool (Fleur De Leys shape). Large paved patio area. Outside pool shower. Barbecue. Open outside covered Naya overlooking the patio and pool, with dining table and chairs, 1 x 3 seater settee, 2 armchairs, coffee table, 8 x sun loungers and a large sun umbrella. Electric gate leads into large paved driveway with room for 4 cars. Separate walled drying area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned at the end of the rental, and the towels and linen changed weekly. Pool is cleaned twice a week. Other: Indoor Naya with dining table and chairs and separate area with 1 x 3 seater settee and 2 armchairs.

Lovely spacious private villa - ideal location

The villa is absolutely as described. It has lovely spacious grounds and as it sits on a high point is not at all overlooked. The pool is a fleur de lys shape and is large - it was lovely and warm while we were there. We spent a lot of time outside in the external naya which has a table seating 8 adjacent to a modern gas BBQ and also a sofa and chairs but in the main villa there is a very spacious lounge and attached naya. The lounge has a large satellite smart TV with English channels and a great WIFI signal (if you need it) that actually reaches the external seating area.

The kitchen is a reasonable size and well equipped. In an ideal world it would be a little closer to the external dining area but that didn't cause us any problems.

Bedrooms are large with plenty of storage, two have en suite bathrooms.

There is air conditioning in all bedrooms and the lounge which was needed and worked well.

We found the villa to be very accessible and well located being only 5 minutes drive from a large Consum supermarket, which we preferred to the Aldi, which is even closer, but there is also a good MasyMas only another 2 minutes further on.

Restaurant wise, there are plenty along the sandy beach at L'Arenal but we also found plenty of choice along the seafront in Javea.

The nearby beach at Granadella is great (large pebbles but great swimming and snorkelling) but only really accessible by a bus service from the top that goes down the hill into the bay.

We were a group of 7 and all in all we were extremely happy and would definitely return to this villa if we were coming back to this part of Spain.

As a keen cyclist I should also say that the cycling in the area is excellent and for bike hire I would strongly recommend Costa Blanca Carbon Bike Hire.

A beautiful, relaxing time....

We had a wonderful holiday in This beautiful home and the hosts could not have been more accommodating. The villa is in a very quiet location with beautiful views to the mountain and sea. The villa has a lovely garden, giving a feeling of space and the pool was wonderful. Local shops are close by for essential food shopping, popping down for the fresh bread on a daily basis and a short walk to the lovely Arenal beach, with it's choice of shops and places to eat/ drink. Our two teenage children, can't wait to go back, so an ideal place for couple's or families. Thank you so much. many happy memories. It suited us down to the ground. The villa details's are as described. A lovely home!

Location

Coast/Beach:

10 minute walk to Cala Blanca beach (Stony Beach). 20 minute walk to Arenal beach (Sandy Beach).

Travel:

Alicante Airport, approximately 100 kilometres. Valencia Airport, approximately 130 kilometres. Car hire is recommended.

Further Details:

Javea has numerous supermarkets within a few minutes drive from the villa.

A small local supermarket is about 4 minutes walk away. There are 3 or 4 restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walk, and the Arenal with many restaurants and bars is about 20 minutes walk. There are numerous banks within a few minutes drive. Benidorm is just over 30 minutes away and has attractions which include the Benidorm Palace (Dinner and Show) and various theme parks.
