An ideal opportunity to enjoy true peace and quiet. There is a 12mt x 6 mt private pool with landscaped gardens including shaded dining areas and fabulous 360 deg. views of the surrounding Rocha De Pena nature reserve. Yet this is only a short distance from the fabulous beaches of the coastal resorts and many golf courses of the Algarve.

Outside: 1/2 acre landscaped gardens, extensive patio and terraced areas. Gas barbeque out door tables and chairs. Private pool (not shared) 12 mt x 6 mt, 2.5 mt deep, heating available. Wide range of pool furniture, umbrellas etc Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath and beach towels included. Linen change weekly. Villa cleaned weekly.

Fabulous, peaceful house

Casa do Colina was everything that we hoped for. A beautiful house in an amazing setting. The views were breathtaking and the walks around the Rocha de Pena were lovely. We made good use of the sizeable pool to cool down in the Algarve August heat, and good use too of the well equipped kitchen, to cook the sardines that we bought in Loule fish market. We highly recommend this lovely property.

Great Stay

Property is well kept and positioned so that you get the best of the seclude countryside and the option to be at a popular seaside resort. Needless to say that you will need a car (book cars earlier as they can run out!).

There is no wifi but you can get outside local library in Salir (5 mins away). Salir and Loule are good for pretty much everything you will need for your stay.

Water park nearby. Book on line to get best price.

Car: necessary


25 min drive time to the well known beach resorts at Val do Lobo,

Quinta Do Lago, Dunas Douradas, and Garrao several of which offer a wide range of water sports. An Aquapark and a Zoomarine also close by.

Superb golf courses at Quinta & Val do Lobo


Faro is the airport of the Algarve and is 30 mins drive time


Alcaria has the nearest small supermarket and bar and is approx 2mins drive.

Salir is the nearest small town and is 4km (5 mins drive ) It has a few bars, and inexpensive restaurants offering regional cuisine, a supermarket, bank, post office, petrol station etc

The regional market town of Loule is approx 15 mins drive time.It has many diverse shops a fabulous fish and fruit market, as well as a large open market on Saturdays and many good places to eat. There is a large hospital.

Further Details:

The area offers ideal opportunities for walking, horse riding and bird watching etc.
